Dan's POV:
I went out the living-room door to find y/n walking out his/her bedroom with f/n shortly following him/her. I need to grow some balls and talk without stuttering. Doubt I'll do it but I'll try, I thought. "Y/n, can I talk to you for a second, in private?" He/she looked at me with wide eyes but replied with "Sure Dan, I also need to talk to you."

We walked into my room, in silence, and sat down. Y/n was looking very nervous, he/she had pink, rosy cheeks but was looking at the floor. I decided to speak first, to break the awkward silence. "So... I-I brought you t-to my room b-because I like you..." I stuttered. I could feel my face heat up rapidly, so I looked down with my hands covering my bright red face.

"Dan, I don't know what you mean but I-I think that... I l-love you." He/she whispered. Y/n quickly ran out of my room after he/she said that he/she loves me. Y/n loves me... He/she actually loves me, omg. Why didn't I just say that I love him/her? Why am I such a fucking wimp? Should I go after him/her? I'm going to go find y/n and tell him/her I love them.

"PHIIIIL, come here please." I shouted. Shortly after Phil appeared in my doorway. He said "Hey Dan, what's up?"

"Phil, do you know where y/n is, I-I love him/her. I didn't tell him/her that I love them, I only said I like them."

"Of course, y/n and f/n are in the sitting room. F/n is comforting y/n and the last thing I heard f/n say was 'I know Dan loves you, he looks at you with nothing but love.' You better go to him/her Dan."

After Phil reassured me that everything is okay, I went into the living-room and just said "Y/n, I love you with all my heart. Ever since I first laid my eyes on you, I knew there would be something between us... what I'm trying to say is, y/n, will you be my partner?"
