Joy, we love joy, we crave joy,
we want joy, we need joy,
a day without laughter is a day wasted,
they say.
But did you notice that joy disappears after some time?

Did you know that there's a joy, which has no end?
The joy in Jannah after we die - In Sha Allah?
If we submit ourselves to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) in this life,
and live in the way He commanded,
then we'll be happy here, that we're gonna be happy there, In Sha Allah.

When we submit to the Creator,
we're freed from the chains of 'looking good' to the creations.
When we obey Allah (سبحانه وتعالى), then we're saved, protected,
and get this - The best of us are those with good manners!

When we submit to Allah (سبحانه وتعالى),
we only seek His acceptance.
We don't mind if others ridicule us for following His orders.
We don't take pride in being praised for doing what we were doing.

So yes, we are always happy, because we have submitted to Him,
and we rely completely on Him.
So if things aren't going the way we wanted them to, we know that
Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) is the best of planners.

That's why my dear, we are never depressed.
Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) is there for us.
He (سبحانه وتعالى) only wants the best for us.
His doors of forgiveness are open.
He (سبحانه وتعالى) wants to make things easy for us.
He (سبحانه وتعالى) doesn't want to burden us.

Reflect, and ponder, where do you want to be forever? Jannah or Jahannam? Jannah, of course. So let's not sell the everlasting happiness in Jannah for some momentary happiness in this Dunya by intentionally sinning.
