Louise

Louise spent the remainder of the day, either checking out movies on Netflix or texting Lizzy. She was undoubtedly drowsy. However, she had no intention of taking a nap, in which, the most likely result would be merely staring at the ceiling for five hours straight. It wasn't exactly what Louise considered entertainment, but being called Louise Melon wasn't exactly enjoyable, either. And so, when she was to go to sleep, she slid out her laptop from underneath the covers and resumed watching The Matrix. She couldn't deny it, she had a thing for science fiction. Though it was supposedly rated R, there seemed to be nothing inappropriate for a PG-13 audience, and it was overall, a quite intriguing film. As she watched intently, she was suddenly reminded of the slip of paper hidden within her jeans. Hastily, she removed it and gazed at the fortune. She didn't know why she had taken it, just that she had. From the illumination provided of the computer, she reread what had been written upon it. "It isn't the superpowers that makes a superhero a superhero. It's the heart that triggers the desire to do good," she read to herself silently. Louise hadn't thought about it before, but the fortune seemed to make limited sense now. What does it mean by "superhero"? And what's with the superpowers thing? The last time I tried to make my cell phone levitate towards me, I ended up falling head first from my chair because the fact that I was imbalanced with an outstretched hand wasn't exactly a good thing to do. Louise crumpled the tiny slip of paper and threw it onto her desk, not realizing the true potential of those words. As soon as the movie ended, she shut her laptop and hid it underneath the bed. She laid her head upon her pillow and instantly began doze off.

Sorry for the short chapter. The next one will be longer :) I can garuntee it!
