Halfway to the base Jak and Eren dropped off all the prisoned workers. They're still workers of Company X until their supervisors or the CEO lets them go. That's for another timeAll of them were in shock. They couldn't believe the rebellion and escape worked. They were introduced to a fellow trusted member of the professor's. The member'd be taking them in. They'd work for him and get housed and fed.

It was a win-win situation for all two parties. The last stop for Jak, Eren and Priet that day was the base. All three were very tired. But aside from tiredness Priet was feeling nervous. What if they don't like me? What if they distrust me? What will they be like? Thoughts like that were swarming his brain.

  To his relief their reactions were chill. He was welcomed with open arms. Jak and Eren briefed the professor on their report. The professor was frighteningly happy. No more headaches for now and no nuisances. Priet gave Giorna the usb and she was very excited. There was a lot of information on where connections with Company X were. Those would be useful for future tasks for sure!

They struck good luck with their mission and it was a day to celebrate. Which they did. They threw a party to celebrate their hard work. Not only that but they also got another hacker added to their crew. The professor, being in a good mood, whipped up some food and brought out canned beer for everyone, excluding Aiden, Giorna, and Lavender. The three were given pop drinks instead. 

  It was late evening. Everyone was either drunk, passed out or sober. Elizabeth was one that was perfectly sober and awake. As much as she had fun, she was still dreading failing her mission at the back of her mind. An idea popped up in her head. Priet had said that the usb contained loads of info about people with connections and where most were. So maybe just maybe she could use it to find her target. 

   You see, the whole group were somewhat like mercenaries. They did jobs from assasination to stealing from the corrupt rich and giving to the poor, selling both legal and illegal goods, escorting important people as bodyguards and destroying evidence or properties per request of their clients.  Enough talk. We need to get back to our dear Elizabeth! Elizabeth woke up Giorna and apologized for it, before proceeding to tell her to search up someone for her.

Giorna yawned and nodded. The usb was plugged in and the computer blinked to life. Elizabeth sat down and waited while Giorna accessed Company X's network. "All right, who are we looking for?" Giorna asked, bored and sleepy.  

  "A gang leader I'm to kill, named Ogre Notoro" Giorna nodded and started searching the lists. Hours had passed and both their eyes were red from staring at the screen for too long. The two took a break. Giorna had a monster energy drink, while Elizabeth had a cup of water. The thirst was no joke. They got back to focusing on the screen of the computer because the network was so big, it took another hour for Giorna to finally pull up the list that had the target's info on it.

Elizabeth smiled and hugged Giorna tightly. "Thanks!" Giorna blinked like she forgot how to and replied by saying, "You're welcome and you owe me Cookies and cream ice cream!" A punch was followed after and Giorna rubbed her sore head and complained. "Ok fine. You don't owe me! You're such a party pooper!"  Elizabeth simply shrugged. 

               The two decided to go to sleep and prepare for the next day.
