We can't give our trust

Even to the whisperers of said truth

Tried to lead us

To the world of unsure

Yet they seem to be or pretend to be

Holy and quite certain

If we are all kin of Adam and Eve

Who are they

For us to hand over our faith

Was their skin not akin to us

No thirst for lust

Was their brain different to us

Not hungry for gold

Religion is indeed a labyrinth

Always be a case unclosed

Because no one is right

And no one is wrong

I would rather trail

The path of unknown

To find the right way

Or be lost alone
