Chapter Two
Day 034, 3rd June, 08:00 am
She hummed a melody, while she prepared herself breakfast. She doesn't knew the melody she was humming, yet it felt like she've known it forever. Russia dozed off in her thoughts, thinking about her past.
If she even had one, she couldn't remember anything. But Russia was sure she did have a past, if not who are the countries in her dreams?
They can't be from the future and neither from yesterday.
In her dreams she saw them growing up, from a small child into a big country.
"Аи блят!(Aw shit!)"
She woke up from her slumber of thoughts and 'memories' as she burned the блинчик(russian pancake) she was making.
Day 034, 3rd June, 08:46 am
She picked up her plate and put it in the sink, deciding to wash the dishes later. She already knew what she was going to make for dinner, борщ(Borsh). She had all the ingredients she needed, yet she wondered how they were always fresh and especially how do they come into her house/apartment?
She had no exit door and the windows were bulletproof. She knows that, because she tried often to escape.
Russia stood at her bedroom window. On the opposite of her, behind the window glass, was something like a house. The window was covered with dark blue curtains, but she could still see someone looking through them.
Russia's eyes widened in surprise.
She wasn't alone.
Why haven't she noticed it earlier?
All those meaningless hours spent alone, yet there was someone by her side.
Just not 'here'
Jumping up and down and waving with her arms, she tried to get his attention.
The person seemed to noticed her, but only opened the curtains just a little bit. Russia assumed they were shy. Searching her own number, she wrote it down on a big sheet of paper. She hold it at the window, pointed at the number, then at her phone. The person moved away from the window. Russia sighed.
Are they scared?
Weirded out?
Do they even have a phone?
Her mind didn't seem to stop drowning her with negative thoughts of being alone, being weird.
The mental drowning in her endless mind stopped, when her phone vibrated. Probably it was just another message from ???, her enemy.
She didn't know why, but she hated them so much. Checking her phone, Russia noticed the message was from an unknown number.
< Hei
Привет(privet) >
< Do you speak/write english?
Yes, I'm Russia. Who are you? >
< I'm Finland
