We got home and we saw Maine, Rose, and Melody bake some cookies and brownies. Ula and I ran to help them...and are some of the cookie dough! I heard a knock at the door after a while, I washed my hands quickly and made myself... Presentable? I opened the door and saw child services. "is this Melissa sokiovia?" I replied with a nervous nod. Two kids appeared behind them with small bags. The girl had a teddy bear and the boy had a stuffed cat. "have a good day ma'am." They said. "You too.." I replied as they left.
The kids looked anxious "well.. Come in!" I said. The girl smiled nervously. They both went into the apartment and smelled some brownies. I showed them their rooms upstairs and they were amazed. I handed them some new clothes and went downstairs. "so...how are they?" Rose asked. I laughed "they're coming down in a minute to eat dinner." Rose smiled and nodded. After a while the kids came down to eat. After eating it was about 5:00 so we decided to go to the park before it was dark. When it was about 7:00 we went home and got there at 9:00. Rose, Melody and I put the kids to bed. Rose went outside to go get the mail, when she came back in she threw a letter at me and said: "it's loverboy." I rolled my eyes and opened the letter as I sat onto the couch. "Hey Rose?" She walked into the room "yes?" I looked up from the letter and said "they're offering us to live with them..." She looked shocked and went to go talk it over with Melody.
