TO love is not easily forgot,

A new day starts to rot,

With spoils of affection to which I,

Owe my acclaim

Love is what I give my name,

My  life,

My home,

To love is peace with one or another,

One that builds and destroys,

The cabinets overflow with surplus joys,

It's no longer just a girl and a boys,

For or some it's just a toy,

To love is not easily forgot,

My first I remember the spot,

Where we first met,

My heart was hers,

My darling pet,

Until love shows its spurs,

Then love turns strife and deters,

The heart strong and bold,

Shattered to pieces that are hard to hold,

So don't let the fire grow cold,

Let it be you until you're old,

Until your house is sold,

Until the bread you bought collects dust and mold,
