October 9th, 1997

I tied my vans again.

"If you do that any tighter you'll cut circulation off Ryan." Nicole untied my shoe and I sighed.

"I don't know what else to do. It's hard to watch practice and not be able to do it. I wish I could be the one on top of the pyramid." I gestured to the cheer team on the field. Nicole gave me a side look before shaking her head.

"I know Ry, but you only have-what a week left? Then you just have to take it easy-"

"Nicole!" Blue yelled from the field.

"Gotta go, I'll be right back." Nicole gave me an apologetic smile before kissing my cheek and standing up and rushing down to the field.

"Hey Ryan." I looked to my right to see Brendon bundled up in two coats sitting down next to me. "Sorry you can't do cheer. I also brought you this, you looked cold." I smiled as Brendon held out my scarf I left in the boys locker room. I took it from him.

"Thank you Brendon." I wrapped the scarf around my neck. "Why are you being so nice to me?" I asked chuckling a little. Brendon's head shot up to look at me.

"Am I not nice to everyone?"

"You are, just extra nice to me. I wanted to know why." I shrugged.

"Because you're nice to me Ross, and to Sasha." Brendon stood up and slapped my shoulder. I bit my lip and nodded. He walked off the same way he came.

I kicked my feet up onto the bleachers in front of me.

I think I'm becoming friends with Brendon Urie.

And I guess I didn't hate the idea.

"Stupid dumb car, stupid stupid-" I kicked my car door with my good foot. I sighed and pushed some hair from out of my eyes.

"Want some help?" Oh geez.

"Hi Brendon." I spun around and smiled giving him a small wave.

"Want some help?" Brendon pointed with his key to my car.

"Yes."

"What happened?" Brendon asked as he pushed me out of the way and tried the door handle.

"I left my car keys in the car this morning." I mumbled under my breath hiding my mouth in my scarf.

"I can give you a ride."

"Yeah."

The ride was mostly silent.

And awkward.

Really awkward.

"I have to pick up Sasha." Brendon mumbled quickly before taking a sharp right turn. I was pushed into the door. I hissed as the handle for the window was pushed into my side. "Sorry." Brendon pulled in front of a daycare and parked.

He hopped out of the car and ran inside. Only to seconds, literally seconds later come out with Sasha holding his hand.

Sasha ran ahead of him to the back car door.

"Ryans in the car!!" I heard Sasha yell as Brendon opened the door and he climbed into the car. "Hi RyRy!" I laughed as reached my hand back and he grabbed it. "I missed y-you!"

"I missed you too bud." I turned around to see Brendon buckling Sasha into his car seat.

Brendon pulled in front of my house.

"Thank you again Brendon." I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Daddy has not speak to someone, who not mommy." Sasha said quietly from the backseat. My face got hot. I quickly jumped out of the car and closed his door waving to him.

God could this day get anymore awkward.

Sorry for the lack of updates idk what's going on
Ik this isn't suppperrrr good I'm sorry
But please let me know what you think
I'm sick and I'm tired sooo
I stayed home sick today bc the stupid camping trip got me sick
Ppl had the stomach flu and were vomiting and popping all over the place
Our tent flooded the first night and my sleeping bag got super wet
I cried on our day hike bc it was just up hill and I HATED IT
The view from the top was really pretty but I didn't even bring my camera so that was dumb of me
I offered to carry a bear canister and that was not fun either
The hike home was much more enjoyable bc it was just downhill as on the first day it was just uphill
I was lowkey getting done with almost everyone in my group tho lol
But yay I'm back now
And I think I'm going to school tomorrow I feel a little better sooo yeet
