Kate's POV:

"So are you and Joseph cool again?" Andrea asked while we were walking out of school's building.

"Yeah, I guess." I said tucking my hair behind my ear.

"But why he should want you to date with another guy?"She asked looking at me.

I looked away uncomfortably. "I don't know. I first thought he said that because he wants to date with another girl himself but when I told him he can do that even if I'm not dating, he said he didn't ask me to date for that. He said he can't see another girl as a woman since he had seen me and stuff like that."

"But there should be a reason. I don't think he says something like that without a good reason." Andrea said.

"I don't know." I said shaking my head.

"Maybe he doesn't want me anymore and is just thinking of a way to get rid of me without hurting my feelings." I said biting my lip. My heart aching from thinking about it.

"If you wanna find out, you need to date someone. Let's see how he reacts." Andrea suggested.

"Dating who? It's not like guys ask me out every single day." I said.

"Every guy would love to take you out. You just need to ask one of them."

"You know I'm not a type of girl to ask guys out."

"Hello. It's 21st century."

"I know but I don't feel comfortable doing it."

"Kate. Andrea." Someone called from back.

We turned around to see Jason and Dave in Dave's car.

"Girls get in." Dave said.

We got in the car.

"We'll drive you guys home." Jason said.

"OK. " Andrea said.

"You weren't around today." Dave said.

"Yeah. Kate and I needed to talk about some stuff." Andrea said.

"What stuff? We're your friends too. Did you know that?" Jason said.

"It was girly stuff. You don't need to know about that." I said before Andrea can give any stupid answer.

"Oh. Ok." Jason said.

They dropped me off first.

I was going to open the door with my keys that Jason got out of the car.

"Kate. Wait a minute." He said.

I turned around. "Yes?"

"Ummm. I was going to go to a movie with my mom Friday night. But she is busy. I wondered if you could come with me. We can grab some food after the movie too." He said nervously scratching the back of his neck, looking down.

"Oh. Ok. Sure." I said nodding.

"OK. Then, see you." Jason said taking a step back.

"See you." I said with an smile on my face.  Then turned around and opened the door.

"Joseph. I had made you dinner. You can eat it whenever you want. I'll be back before ten." I said walking down the stairs.

Joseph turned his face to look at me. "Oh. Is Jason at the door?"

"Yeah. He just called." I said showing my phone that was in my hand.

"OK. " Joseph said, nodding.

I walked towards Joseph that was sitting on the couch in front of the TV and put my hand on his shoulder. "I'll cancel it if you don't want me to go. We can eat dinner together. Watch a movie." I said squeezing his shoulder.

"No. It's fine. Go have fun. Sebastian is going to come over. I'll not be alone. Don't worry." Joseph said putting his hand on mine.

"OK." I said then leaned and kissed his left cheek.

"Take care of yourself. Call me if anything goes wrong. I'll pick you up." He said smiling.

"OK. Thanks." I said smiling back. Then I got out of the house.

Jason was waiting for me in his car. When he saw me he got out of the car and greeted me with a wow. "You look stunning." He said.

"Thanks." I said smiling.

He came closer. Then kissed my cheek and opened the door for me.

Joseph's POV:

"What do you think you are doing bro? Throwing her in to another man's arms is not the smartest plan to make a girl fall for you." Sebastian said sitting on the couch.

"I didn't do it to make her fall for me. I did it cause I wanted her to love me for myself not because of feeling alone and desperate. I want to give her a chance to have something with someone else. Both of us know that a high school relationship doesn't end up with a marriage. So there is nothing to worry about. If she comes to me after dating other guys I'll be sure it's because she really wants me." I said putting my hand on my forehead. Deep down  afraid of loosing her.

"You are crazy. Making her feel lonely was the best way to make her come to you. Once she be yours she'll always be yours." Sebastian said.

"It's not true. Besides it was not like I could keep her like a prisoner here till the rest of my life. If I really want to keep her, she should really want me." I said looking down.

"I don't know bro. I hope your plan workes." Sebastian said getting up.

"My plans always work." I said looking up at him.

"Right. You know the best. Beer?"

"Yes. Please."

Sebastian left to the kitchen.

What if he was right? What if I had throw myself in the hell with my own hands? What if she never comes back to me? What if my plan fails this time?

Kate's POV :

"Did you enjoy the movie?" Jason asked while we were walking in a park close to the movies.

"Yeah. It was great. Thanks for taking me." I said looking down at my shoes.

"You're welcome. I'm glad that you liked it." He said smiling tucking his hands in to his pockets.

"Were you really going to watch it with your mom?" I asked curious for his answer.

He chuckled. "No. I just made that up. I don't know why." He answered scratching the back of his neck nervously.

I chuckled to his reaction.

"So... do you wanna grab some food?" Jason asked.

"No. Thanks." I said looking at him smiling.

"Are you sure? I know some great places." He said.

"Maybe another time." I said.

"OK. So do you want me to take you home?"

I looked at my watched. It was 9:00.

"I still have time. Do you want to walk or something?" I asked looking at him.

"If you want to." He said looking pleased of my offer.

I smiled in response and looked down again.

"Had he made rules about being at home early or something?" Jason asked.

"Who?" I asked confused for a second.

"Joseph."

"Oh. Joseph. Right. Ummm... no. He hadn't. Why?" I said.

"You said you still have time. So I thought maybe he had made rules about being home early."

"Oh. No. It's just, I promised to be home before 10:00. İt was my dessicion. He hadn't asked me tho." I explained.

"Oh. Ok." He said.

"Is there something going on between you two?" Jason asked looking down.

"What do you mean by something?" I asked looking at him.

"Are you guys going to get in to a relationship or something like that?" He asked.

"Oh. No. No. We're just friends." I said shaking my head along with my hands in front of my face.

"OK. I just asked cause I didn't want to interrupt if you two... you know, have something." He said.

"Oh. No. There is nothing between us. So you are not interrupting." I said smiling.

"OK." He smiled back.

We walked in silence for a while till he took my hand slowly and intertwined our fingers. His touch send shivers all over my body.

"Oh. Sorry. Does this make you uncomfortable?" He said pulling his hand out of mine. But I stopped him by holding on his hand tighter.

"No. It feels good." I said smiling, looking in to his eyes.

"God. You are so beautiful." Jason said lost in my eyes.

I put my other hand on his cheek. We looked in eachothers eyes till he leaned and left a soft kiss on my lips. When our lips parted he pushed his forehead against mine.

"Did you know how amazing you are?" He said smiling both excited and nervous.

I didn't say anything just smiled back and pushed my lips against his. His lips felt so warm and plump against mine. Kissing him made me feel my stomach is full of butterflies. He parted his lips and kissed me with more hunger than before. Then put his tongue on my lips asking for entrance.  I parted my lips and let him in but I was not sure how you should use your tongue, kissing someone so I let him do whatever he wants to without using my own. As he saw no response from me, backed off.

"Sorry. Was that too much? You didn't like it? I don't want to put you under pressure or something." He said so fast worried.

"Oh. No. That was great. It's just... I'm new to these kind of stuff. I'm not sure how you should use, you know... your tongue." I said, looking down from embarrassment.

"Then I'll learn you how." He said mischievously squeezing my hand.

I looked at our hands locked in eachother. Then he put his right hand on my neck and the left on my cheek and drove me closer for another kiss. It felt amazing. He knew exactly how he should use his tongue and lips against mine. We made out for a couple of minutes till he backed off with biting my lower lip gently. We looked in to eachothers eyes and smiled.

"I hope that was not too much for the first date." Jason said putting his arms around me.

I laughed and rolled my eyes in response.

He giggled. Then leaned and kissed my cheek.

"Do you wanna at least grab some ice cream?"  He asked looking at me.

"That sounds great." I said  smiling.

When I got home Sebastian and Joseph were playing a video game in the living room and a heavy metal music was playing.

"Hey." I shouted walking inside.

Joseph paused the game and Sebastian stopped the music.

"Hey." Joseph said, smiling.

"Hey, Katy." Sebastian said getting up, leaving a polite kiss on my cheek.

"How are you guys? What you did while I was gone?" I asked putting my purse on the coffee table and sitting on the couch, smiling.

"I'm going to make some coffee for myself. Who wants some?" Sebastian asked.

"Me." Joseph and I said at the same time.

"O. K." Sebastian said bitting his bottom lip then turned around on his heel and walked to the kitchen, leaving us alone.

"We talked and played some video games." Joseph said answering the question I had asked earlier.

"Oh. Great." I said smiling.

"How was your date?" Joseph asked wearing a fake smile. If it was the first days I wouldn't have recognized but after almost six months of living with him I could say if he was pretending or not.

"Good. We went to the movies and ate ice cream." I answered playing with my fingers.

"Great." Joseph said looking away, clenching his fist.

"Look. Joseph. I'll stop dating him as soon as you tell me you don't want me to. Feel free to ask me whenever you're done torturing yourself. OK?" I said putting my hand on his.

"Kate. You deserve to have this chance and I'm not going to take it away from you. It doesn't matter how much it's hard for me to see him around you." Joseph said looking in to my eyes.

"But..." He didn't let me continue.

"Sweetie. It doesn't matter how long you date him. Even if you marry him, I'll be always here waiting for you. I may never have you but having you around even as a friend is enough for me. You're not going to loose me, if that's what you're afraid of." He said putting his other hand on mine.

I didn't said anything. Just looked down at our hands. I always thought I insisted on not dating because I didn't want to hurt Joseph's feelings. But now that Joseph said it out loud, I realized it was not because of him but me, myself, scared of loosing him by dating other men.
