CRAP! WHAT HAVE I DONE?!

TESSA HAD FOUND HERSELF IN ALL THE DRAMA THIS WEEK. Once escaping Jake Puckerman's ranting about Ryder making his move on Marley as she listened closely and carefully, nodding along to what he had to say, Marley herself was rushing up to her locker with her concerns about Finn's adjustments to his awful first attempt at teaching.

At this point, she was beginning to wish he'd stuck with his original idea instead of asking her and Kitty to sing a duet together so had hoped to find help in Tessa, "I can't do a duet with Kitty." She stated as soon as she arrived besides her, making her jump slightly, "I really don't feel comfortable and I need your help."

"I'm sure Finn will be fine with you sitting out this week if you don't feel comfortable." Tessa reasoned, gently, "but I'm here to help... whatever you need, I'm your girl."

"Do the duet with me?" She asked, quickly, instantly going to explain herself as Tessa's eyes widened, "before my audition when you sang 'Angel Eyes' with me really boosted my confidence and I thought maybe if we do it together, I might not mess up or look stupid or anything."

Stopping her rambling by spinning round and placing her hands on Marley's shoulders, Tessa gave her a smile, able to read her expression and see how nervous the whole assignment was making her, "I'd love to sing with you again. We'll sort it all out, I promise you that."

Sneaking up on the two girls, Kitty shut the locker door in front of her to make her own presence known, not wanting to be kicked out of her own duet, "you don't think you're doing this without me, do you?" She asked, signature smirk coming to her lips, "we all know trios are more iconic anyways. Here's the only thing the two of you will need to study." Whipping two copies of sheet music as if she knew what they had planned all along, Kitty handed them to the two girls.

Frowning to herself, Marley took the music more tentatively than Tessa, who just immediately took it from Kitty's hands and started to observe her part, "isn't part of the assignment that we have to pick a song together?"

"Well part of the assignment 'Dynamic Duets' is that its two people and we've already gone and ruined that haven't we?" Kitty shot back, making Marley look down out of embarrassment.

When the silence became uncomfortable for her, Tessa pointed up to the title of the song with a grin, "ooh! I love this song!"

"You know it from Shrek, don't you?" Marley whispered.

"It's a great choice, isn't it?" Kitty spoke up over her, loudly, "I took the liberty of choosing it to show off my vocal bombasity whilst at the same time highlighting Marley's mousy softness and Tessa's heavily underused lower register."

"Thanks... I think?" Tessa answered, slowly, narrowing her eyes slightly as she caught onto Marley's confused glance.

Choosing to go along with it as well, Marley moved on to the part of the assignment she was most worried about, "but can't we at least talk about what superheroes we're going to be? I don't know if I'm comfortable wearing the clingy fabrics."

Already knowing exactly who she wanted to dress up as, Kitty had sprung into a detailed description of her alter-ego, "you can talk all you want but I've already decided. I'm going to be Femme Fatale, cause in French, it means 'kill women —"

"Does it?" Tessa whispered to Marley instantly, getting a shake of her head in response.

"— which is exactly what I'm going to do when we perform." Kitty finished before smiling brightly at them both, "this is gonna be so much fun! Call me if you wanna go shopping for the outfits." She added on, clearly directed mostly at Tessa before spinning on her heels and strutting off just the way she'd arrived.

Not sure why either of them had expected any different behavior from Kitty, Tessa shook her head slightly out of amusement before focusing her attention back on Marley, "if you don't feel comfortable wearing a costume, you really don't have to wear one." She assured her, "I feel exactly the same if I'm honest."

Smiling back at her, Marley was glad to have someone she felt understood, "well at least we're in this together now." She breathed out, softly. With a nod of her head, Tessa held out an arm for Marley to take, swiftly moving the subject on to the love triangle she'd found herself in.

THE FIRST DYNAMIC DUET HAD COME TO AN END QUICKER THAN ANYONE HAD EXPECTED. Singing 'Superman' together, Jake and Ryder were looking as through they could at least tolerate one another but as they got further into the song, the competition over Marley was getting fiercer with casual shoving ending in Ryder getting a punch to the face.

Jumping as Sugar shrieked right into her ear and clutched into her shoulders as self defence, Tessa firstly shushed her in the hopes of calming her down before whipping round to make eye contact with Finn. Seeing his panic as he sat there, mouth hung open in shock and when Ryder sent Jake flying into the music stands, Tessa passed Sugar over to Brittany before taking matters into her own hands.

Snatching a textbook from inside her bag, she began whacking whoever was on top in the scrap on the back with it, shouting sternly for them to knock it off until Sam and Finn eventually sprung into action, pulling the two off of one another and holding them apart.

Grabbing the back of Jake's cape, Tessa beckoned for him to follow her out into the hallway as Sam dragged Ryder out the opposite door. Getting at a safe distance from the choir room, she crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow at him, "what the hell happened there then, Puckerman?"

"Ryder's a jackass that's what the hell happened!" Jake shot back, kicking the locker behind him out of frustration, "why couldn't you have let me punch him one more time?"

"You can't just punch people Just-Jake."

"You can't just hit them with textbooks either."

Breaking her raised eyebrows by bursting out into a laugh, Tessa shook her head and held her hands up in surrender, "okay, you got me there but I had to help somehow and that was the first thing that came to mind." She stood up for herself, "poor Marley though, she probably feels so guilty right now after watching you two have a pathetic fight in the choir room over her dressed up as the almighty superheroes, Mega Stud."

Sighing loudly, Jake pinched the bridge of his nose, "it doesn't sound as cool when you say it. But I just hate that he thinks he knows exactly what Marley wants."

"Neither of you know what Marley want." Tessa stated, matter-of-factly, in the hopes of putting a stop to this feud by putting forward Marley's perspective of the situation, "I don't even think Marley really knows what she wants yet because honestly, the truth is that you two have spent so much time arguing and trying to one-up each other that you haven't actually been giving her any time to decide herself. You can't just have a fight and say you've won the right to date her. Marley's got her own mind, you know."

"I know. Ryder's just an ass and I don't like him or his stupid Bieber hair." Jake pouted, widening his eyes for a second towards Tessa, in a look that exchanged many words between the two of them.

"And you don't have to like him... or his stupid Bieber hair." Tessa replied, with a shrug of her shoulders before the corners of her lips moved into a wicked grin, "just next time you get yourself in a fight with anyone at this school, make sure I'm right behind you with something ready to whack them with."

Matching her smile, Jake nodded in agreement and held his hand out for a fist bump, "you're cool, dude. Same here, I'm right behind you defending you if you ever need it."

Wiggling her eyebrows, Tessa pulled herself away from where she was leant against the lockers and began to walk backwards towards the auditorium as she caught sight of Finn leading Ryder in there, "hey, maybe you do need friends after all." She teased, to which Jake just shook his head with amusement, unable to deny it, "now come on, Finn's bound to want a word with you for creating chaos in the choir room."

IT WAS THE DAY OF MARLEY, KITTY AND TESSA'S DUET TURNED TRIO AND ONE MEMBER OF THE GROUP WAS MORE EXCITED TO GET INTO HER COSTUME THAN THE OTHERS. Admiring herself in the mirror the second she left the stall, Kitty spun round as she took in the image of herself in a full black latex catsuit and cat ears, almost purring at herself as she did so. Rolling her eyes as no one followed her out to admire her or themselves, Kitty tapped her heel against the floor impatiently, "I'm waiting."

"Is it too late to back out?" Tessa said, shakily.

"Yeah, I look ridiculous." Marley added on from behind the stall door.

Tutting loudly, Kitty continued to encourage them to come out, "don't be silly, I'm sure you don't. I won't judge."

Scoffing loudly, Tessa vocalised what both girls were thinking, "yeah right! You're a lot more decent than I thought you were Kitty, but I don't believe you." She shouted aloud, before looking down at herself, grateful for the enclosed space as tears pricked against her eyes, bringing her voice down to a practically inaudible whisper, "oh my god. If the Cheerios or anyone on the football team see me in this I'm never gonna hear the end of it."

"What was that?" Kitty asked.

"Nothing!" Tessa answered, quickly, wiping her eyes and shaking her head to compose herself, unknowing that Kitty had heard every word of her almost silent confession. Taking a breath to compose herself, she tried to push away her fears, "okay I'm coming out now. Please don't say anything."

Slowly opening the door, Tessa revealed herself in her superhero costume, wrapping her arms around her stomach self consciously, flickering her eyes upwards to meet Kitty's every so often. Doing a little spin, Tessa showed off her outfit, which was a white and light blue long sleeved top half with a light blue skirt in the same familiar fashion of her Cheerios uniform. Covering it all was a long, blue cape made from shiny, swishy material. Tessa's favourite part of her outfit were her knee high go-go boots, which she'd been admiring in the stores for weeks and had used the assignment as an excuse to treat herself.

Slowly clapping her hands, Kitty came to stand by her side with an approving nod, "meow! Look at you! You look fierce."

Looking to the floor as she felt a heat coming to her cheeks, Tessa swished her cape around her, "you really think so?"

"I'd tell you if you looked ridiculous." Kitty assured her with a genuine smile, "now who are you supposed to be?"

"Miss Pew Pew." Tessa replied, glowing slightly red as she held her finger guns up towards Kitty and did her little sound effect for her, "because that was the first thing I thought of. I also have a Super Scooter thanks to Jake Puckerman."

Not even bothering to question it at this point, Kitty nodded appreciatively as if she understood, giving her a pat on the shoulder before folding her arms over her chest once again to call Marley out of her stall, "it's your turn now Marley. Come on."

"You'll look gorgeous." Tessa called out, reassuringly.

With a boost of confidence from the reaction Tessa has received, Marley followed in her footsteps, coming out from the stall with her arms wrapped around her stomach the same way Tessa's had been. Beaming, Tessa was bouncing up and down on the spot, clapping her hands together proudly, making Marley blush slightly.

"Uncross your arms." Kitty instructed, finally getting a good view at Marley's costume and the symbol on the front, "I don't get it, what's WF?"

"It's supposed to be Wall Flower." Marley admitted, fiddling with the ends of her cape as she finally found it in herself to look at her costume in the mirror in front of them, "your alter-ego's supposed to reflect how you feel about yourself, right? When I looked in the mirror, this was what I saw."

Taking her hand, Kitty pulled her forwards so she was closer to the mirror, the three of them staring into it as she prepared to give her judgement, "well get over here so Femme Fatale can tell you what she sees. Stand up straight. Shoulders back. You look H-O-T-T hot."

A sigh of relief left Tessa's lips as she saw Marley slowly getting more confident in the way she looked, "I do?"

"Yeah!" Tessa yelled out, excitedly waving her hands in the air.

"Now your clothes... your mom made this like she does most of your clothes, right?" Kitty asked, getting a nod in return, "well bless her clogged, overworked heart but from now on I'm buying your clothes and they're gonna show off your bitchin' bod." She told her before putting a hand on either of their shoulders, giving them a squeeze as she grinned between them, "but first things first, we are fierce and we're gonna go out there and kill this song!"

With this boost of confidence, Tessa grinned from ear to ear, grabbing Jake's scooter from besides the stalls and hopping on it, "yeah we are! Jump on Marley, Sam wants to see our outfits before we perform, you coming Kitty?"

"I'll be out in a minute, I'll meet you there." Kitty smiled, watching the two girls scoot out of the room until she could only hear their laughter faintly from down the hall before her smile dropped and worry filled her expression.

It wasn't until that moment that she realised how messed up she'd been and how messed up the things she'd done to Marley were. And it certainly wasn't until she'd heard about what it had done to Tessa that it hit her that what she was doing was so wrong. But she had no idea how she could put it right.

Running her hand over her face, she let out a long breath of air, "crap. What have I done?" She whispered, taking one last look at herself in the mirror before plastering the smile back onto her face to join the girls out for their performance of 'Holding Out For A Hero.'

IT HAD BROKEN THE HEARTS OF BLAINE'S TWO BEST FRIENDS WHEN THEY HEARD HE WAS LEAVING TO DALTON. Taking two opposite approaches, Tessa was stood at Blaine's locker with him, secretly taking objects from the box she was holding for him to collect his stuff in and when he wasn't looking, placing them back inside the locker whilst Sam was charging down the hall towards the two of them on a mission.

Stopping himself besides them, Sam placed a hand on Blaine's shoulder to steady himself, already in denial about the news he'd heard, "dude, this is part of some master plan, right? You're going back to the Warblers to gather intel for us so we can kick their asses at Sectionals."

Feeling as though it would hurt more to acknowledge that he was making his two closest friends upset, Blaine quickly tried to shove him off, "Sam, don't. I feel awful enough as it is."

"Although that's a clever plan and one that could mean you'll technically stay at Mckinley." Tessa chipped in, with a glint of hope in her eyes, sharing a discreet fist bump with Sam for his idea.

Giving her a soft smile, Blaine shook his head, "I can't stay here, I'm sorry."

"Stop, okay? You've been beating yourself up about this for like, weeks since you and Kurt broke up, but going back to Dalton?" Sam challenged, narrowing his eyes questioningly, "you told Finn it's because you feel more at home there but if you ask me, it's just another way to punish yourself. And for what? What did you do exactly?"

After a long silence, Blaine let out an exhausted sigh making Sam and Tessa exchange a glance, waiting for his answer, "I cheated on him." He admitted, through a clenched jaw, "it was with some guy that friended me on Facebook. I went over to his place because I felt like Kurt was moving on with his life and I wasn't a part of it. And I got to thinking that maybe Kurt and I weren't meant for each other, that we weren't meant to spend the rest of our lives together. But the horrible thing is, right after I did it... I knew that we were."

"Dude, you gotta tell Kurt that." Tessa breathed out, quietly.

"What, you think I haven't told him that?" Blaine snapped, defensively, slamming his locker door shut, "you think I haven't tried?"

"Calm down, it's okay." Sam intervened, wrapping an arm around Tessa's waist in a slightly protective fashion, "don't be upset with her."

"No, it's not okay, Sam. Because I cheated on the one person I love more than anything in this world. I hurt him. So of course he's not gonna trust me. He's never gonna forgive me." He replied, a more upset expression coming to his face with every word, "I mean, how awful would you both feel if you cheated on each other, huh?"

Nodding along understandingly, Tessa took in a deep breathe, "I'd feel awful, you're right. And I get why you feel awful right now but I wouldn't exile myself to the nearest private school."

Pointing a finger at her in agreement, Sam further added on to her point, taking a slightly softer route, "yeah. And even if he doesn't forgive you, you've got to forgive yourself. You've gotta stop..." Pausing, Sam looked to Tessa with a confused frown, "what's the word when you make someone into a villain?"

"Villainize?"

Shooting finger guns at her quickly, Sam spun back round to face Blaine, "yeah! You've got to stop villainizing yourself. Yeah, you hurt Kurt and that wasn't cool, so you're trying to make it right. But exiling yourself to Dalton won't fix anything."

"I just want to stop feeling like a bad person." Blaine said, quietly, rubbing his hands over his face, clearly ashamed of himself.

"You're not a bad person. You're one of the good guys." Sam assured him, "and I've got a whole glee club who agrees with me, right Tess?"

"Right!" Tessa yelled, encouragingly, a beaming smile coming to her lips as she saw they were very close to having him convinced. Poking him playfully in the side, she tilted her head to the side, "come on... give us a day. A Rachel Berry style sing-a-long. We'll convince you that you're one of our heroes. Then you can decide where you really belong."

Looking at him hopefully, Sam opened up his arms, "what do you say, dude?"

Unable to stop the smile from sneaking into his lips as he looked up towards the pair, who were clearly loved him enough to try and convince him to stay, Blaine looked down with a slightly amused laugh, "you had me at sing-a-long."

Punching the air, Tessa whooped loudly, bouncing up and down straight into Blaine's arms, squeezing him tight. Laughing along, Sam jumped on top of the two of them, engulfing them both in a hug and before they'd even known it, Blaine Anderson had found himself secretly convinced that Mckinley was where his heart lied.
