Taehyung was a mere spectator of the fight. The others won't let him fight. It was for his own safety, but he still felt useless. He was the only one who hadn't activated his powers.

The Water Boy had killed one Gargoyle, but more were coming. Jungkook, Zia, Jimin, Yoongi, Hoseok, and Water Boy were ready for them. Jungkook was cracking his fingers. Zia, beside him, was studying the Gargoyles. Jimin had summoned his usual light balls. Electricity was cackling in Yoongi's fingers. Hoseok had also summoned his fire balls. He was getting better at controlling his powers. Water Boy didn't summon water, but he was ready. He had a vast lake behind him.

"There are six of them. Everyone gets one." Jungkook commented.

Hoseok started throwing fireballs on the Gargoyle nearest to him. The Gargoyle wasn't happy about it. It spread its wings, taking off, and landed beside Hoseok. Hoseok raised his arm to attack, but the Gargoyle clawed his forearm, making him gasp and retract his arm. Hoseok quickly raised another arm and shot a fireball in the monster's chest.

The Gargoyle was thrown back by this, and it landed on its back. Hoseok threw fireballs again, but the Gargoyle started dodging them.

"Why don't you die?" Hoseok muttered in frustration.

Hoseok continued, throwing fireballs at the monster. The Gargoyle was flying, making it easier for it to dodge Hoseok's fireballs. Finally, a fireball caught the Gargoyle's wings, and it fell on the floor. Hoseok threw another fireball, which the monster dogged and the tree behind caught fire.

He cursed and edged closer to the Gargoyle. Hoseok stopped throwing fireballs. He pulled his hands inward and thrust them forward, expelling fire. The flames engulfed the monster. Taehyung watched in awe until only the ashes of the previously existing Gargoyle remained.

Hoseok was looking at the ashes gravely, taking deep breaths. Burning someone to death again filled him with guilt. He had completely forgotten about the cut on his hand.

Jungkook was fighting a Gargoyle with his boxing gloves. No one had any idea where he got them from. Jungkook punched the Gargoyle in the face. It stumbled and bore its fangs at him.

He rolled his eyes and punched it slightly harder. The monster stumbled back again. Jungkook finally used some force and sent the Gargoyle flying away, where it hit a tree and fell on the ground. Tasting mud. Jungkook ran to the monster and snapped its neck, killing it at last. He looked proud of himself.

"Taehyung watch out!" Jungkook screamed at him.

Taehyung looked in front of him. Another Gargoyle was flying towards him. It was seconds away from crashing with him. He ducked and scurried away from the monster.

"Sorry Taehyung. You didn't get hurt, right?" Zia said.

Her face beaded with sweat. She concentrated on the Gargoyle, rising it slowly in the air. The monster lifted its hand and dropped it back again.

"It's not that hard to cooperate." Zia told the Gargoyle.

The Gargoyle lifted its hands very slowly against its will. The Gargoyle pierced its chest with its sharp claws and wrenched out its heart. The monster dropped on the ground, still clutching its beating heart. Its eyes wide open with no emotion.

"There was a less heartless way to do it." Hoseok told Zia.

"I couldn't think of anything else, and the Gargoyle is dead now."

Taehyung looked at Jimin. His palms locked in front of him. White mist was blasting the Gargoyle. The white mist always fascinated Taehyung. It was capable of mass destruction, yet gentle enough to heal a wounded soul. Just like Jimin.

Jimin blasted the monster into pieces in seconds and ran to Hoseok.

"You are hurt. Let me see."

Hoseok held out his hand, and Jimin covered his hands over Hoseok's forearms. The white mist doing its job. Taehyung remembered the warm sensations travelling through his body when Jimin had placed his hands on his chest, healing the bullet wound. His favourite memories floating through his mind, calming him down.

Meanwhile Yoongi had simply electrocuted his Gargoyle to death, and he was now helping Water Boy defeat his.

Water Boy trapped the Gargoyle in a ball of water and Yoongi electrocuted the water, killing the monster inside it.

"That was smart." Yoongi told Water Boy. "What's your name? I'm Yoongi."

"Namjoon."

-

Everyone introduced themselves to Namjoon.

"What do we do about the Gargoyle in the warehouse?" Namjoon asked.

"Let's blow it up and call it a day." said Jungkook.

Jungkook's words made Jimin's blood run cold. They couldn't blow up the warehouse.

"NO!" he screamed out of fear, making everyone look at him. "Night is in there."

His words were met with a dead silence. Zia looked at Jimin with desperation in her eyes.

"Do you know where she is?"

Jimin shook his head. "She told me she was going to kill the Gargoyle inside." An unpleasant thought hit him. He hoped Night had killed the monster.

"She should have killed the monster by now." Jungkook mumbled. "Something's wrong. We have to go in and find her."

Everyone nodded.

The warehouse was dark, not a speck of light to guide them. Jimin's heart beat faster. How were they going to find Night in such a huge place?

He separated himself from the group. He summoned a light ball; it floated beside him, giving him warmth as he wandered around the cold warehouse, trying to find his white-haired companion.

There was light down a hallway in a small room. It was his best guess that Night would be there. The room was also silent, like the rest of the warehouse. He ran towards the room.

Red was smeared on the wall as she slid down, her legs too weak to support her. Her chest falling down heavily with each breath. Her shirt covered with blood, blood was dripping down the hem of her shirt. Her eyes closed and her face twisted in pain.

Jimin stopped at the door. He couldn't move forward at the sight of what was in front of him.

He looked around the room. Night's blood was splattered on the walls. The floor was slowly soaking the puddles of blood left behind. Her sword was lying in a corner, covered in blood, but Jimin couldn't tell whose blood it was.

His eyes caught the Gargoyle. It was in the other corner of the room, sneering down at Night. One of its wings was torn and thrown across the room, and the other was bent.

Jimin could feel the blood pounding in his ears. He wanted to rip the Gargoyle into pieces. He clenched his jaw and stared down at the monster.

This seemed to catch the monster's attention. The Gargoyle lunged at him, but he was ready. White mist freely flowed from his palms and surrounded him. The Gargoyle crashed into it and tried clawing at the white walls. Jimin concentrated harder, keeping the walls up.

"You're a fool." The Gargoyle chuckled and didn't attack him again.

Jimin frowned. It didn't take him long to realise the meaning behind the Gargoyle's words. While Jimin was busy deafening himself, Night was defenceless and wounded.

Jimin dropped his defence to see the Gargoyle swipe its sharp claws against Night's cheek. Her face fell to the side because of the impact, but she didn't react. Blood oozed out of her fresh wound and spilled down her face.

Night had gone limp. She wasn't dead, but she had lost a lot of blood. She was stabbed in the back with the Gargoyle's wings, Jimin guessed. Her face was also wounded. A cut across her forehead and a new one on her cheek. The skin on her shoulder had been ripped, leaving a wound with a heavy blood flow. Her palms were also shedding blood, like her sword had left a deep cut on them. Jimin's eyes travelled down to her thigh. The fabric of her pants had been ripped, showing a wound which had soaked the cloth surrounding it with blood.

"Don't hurt her." Jimin pleaded with the monster. He couldn't think of anything else. He couldn't use his powers because Night was right behind the Gargoyle. She would die if she lost any more blood.

The Gargoyle, with warning, turned around and lunged at Jimin, his claws ready. Jimin managed to dodge it and the Gargoyle crashed into the wall.

Jimin readied his hands in front of him. White mist danced on his fingertips. He could feel rage build up inside him. With fire in his heart, he moved his hands and the white mist covered the distance between Jimin and the Gargoyle, enclosing it in a ball. He wanted to slowly kill the monster, giving it as much pain as he could, but Night was more important.

The Gargoyle started helplessly pounding the walls. Jimin concentrated harder, and the sphere started to grow smaller. After a while, when Jimin was sure the Gargoyle had suffocated to death, he let the body drop to the ground. He mercilessly watched the Gargoyle's body catch fire and burn until ash was the only remnant left.

"Jimin?" He heard someone call out his name. Zia was standing at the door, her face white with fear. "What happened?"
