THUD!

Night woke up and threw the first thing her hands grasped in the direction of the sound. It was a pillow. The pillow bounced against something and fell on the floor.

"Ow." A voice which she recognised easily complained. The room was still dark, and Night's eyes were still adjusting.

Zia switched on the lights of the room.

Night rubbed her eyes. Zia had interrupted her sleep, and she wasn't fully awake yet. She yawned, and Zia threw a pillow at her face.

"What was that for?" She complained.

"You hit me first."

"Yeah, cause you slammed the door out of nowhere. It was instinctive."

"Whatever." said Zia. She sat on Night's bed, eager to share something.

"How did it go?" Night asked. She was eager to know how the night's events turned out.

"What do you mean?" Zia blushed.

"Did you find the Phenomenal?"

"Yeah, we did." Zia said, and relaxed.

"Who is it?"

"Jin. The actor."

Night stared at Zia, with wide eyes. For a moment, none of them said anything.

"Also, there is something else.." Zia started. She blushed profusely.

Frowning slightly, Night looked at her friend. Zia was red like a tomato and stuttering like a small child who just learnt how to talk.

"Why don't you get your words together, while I brush my teeth?" Night said, patting Zia on the back before getting up.

When Night came back, Zia was lying on her bed, gazing at the ceiling sheepishly. The corners of her mouth curved into a small smile. Absent-mindedly, she touched her lips, relishing her memories.

Not wanting to disturb her, Night quietly lay beside her. Zia was deep in her own thoughts to notice anything around her.

"So," Night whispered. "What's up?" Zia flinched horribly at Night's words. This made Night jump, too.

Zia looked at Night. Her eyes were brimming with happiness. It was enough for Night to know that something memorable had happened at the party. She wondered if it had anything to do with Hoseok.

"How do I say this?" Zia said in a hushed tone, peaking Night's interest even more. "Hoseok and I...... we well.... kissed."

Night was speechless. This was the last thing she had expected to come out of Zia's mouth. "How was it?" She squealed, beaming positively. She knew Zia and Hoseok were attracted to each other, but she hadn't expected them to move this quickly.

"It was beautiful." Zia said breathlessly. "We were dancing to a song. Then, he took me to a balcony, and we kissed."

Night felt her heart swell hearing Zia's confession. She was thrilled for her friend.

"So are you guys official now?" She asked.

Zia sighed. "I don't know. We kissed but then we never got a chance to talk about it."

"Monster attack?"

"Monster attack." Zia nodded.

"Well, it happens to the best of us." Zia laughed.

"Am I interrupting anything?" A voice said from the doorway. Night propped on her side to see Jungkook. His face and hair were full of dirt and grass.

"Not much. Zia was just telling her romantic moment with Hoseok, which the monsters rudely interrupted." Night said.

Jungkook's eyes widen and Zia shrieks.

"Why would you-"

"Moment as in-" He started slowly. "Oh, my god! What did you guys do?"

Zia hit Night with a pillow. Jungkook slammed the door and sat on the bed. His face lit up, and he looked at Zia eagerly.

"Why does everyone have to slam the door before coming in?" Night mumbled. Sighing, she got up and sat straight.

Zia had buried her face in her hands. She desperately tried to hide her blush from Jungkook, but in vain he already noticed it. Zia got up and started pacing, the tension and awkwardness thickening with each step.

"You're making this worse, you know?" Night said as she desperately tried not to smile.

"You shouldn't have opened your mouth in the first place." Zia mumbled.

"What do you mean?" Jungkook asked, offended. "I wanna know. Spill." he said dramatically.

-

"Looks like Zia woke her up." Taehyung said.

A thud came from the room Zia had just entered. She walked into the room closest to the living room as soon as they came back to Hoseok's villa. The others had forgotten to mention there was someone else on the team.

Jin vividly remembered this place. Hobi always came there to relax. It was isolated and designed to take his mind off things. Perfect to get some privacy and rest.

"I hope that wasn't her sword." Yoongi said, slightly concerned.

"Her sword's still in the van." Jungkook said.

"No." said Jimin. "I gave it to her before we left."

"Now, if she dies, it's on you." Jungkook replied, and Jimin shrugged.

"Have the two of them fallen asleep in there?" Jungkook asked after a while. "I'll go check." he mumbled, getting up.

He peeked his head inside the door and said something. It was barely audible for Jin to understand what he was saying. Jungkook got a muffled response from inside and stepped into the room, slamming the door behind him. Jin wondered why everyone who entered that room slammed the door.

"What is going on?" Yoongi mumbled. Jimin shrugged, and Hobi shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He was hiding something. Jin made a mental note to ask his best friend about it in private.

The door opened and Jungkook and Zia, along with a girl with white hair, came out of her room. She looked like she had just woken up. She was the only one wearing pajamas, while the rest of them were dressed in suits.

"Jin, that's Vani- Night. Vanilla, meet Jin." Jimin introduced.

"Hi, nice to meet you." Night said politely.

"Nice to meet you too." Jin replied with the same politeness.

"So what now?" Namjoon asked after an uncomfortable silence.

"Sleep, maybe?" Yoongi said, yawning.

Jin was also tired. He had spent an entire day at a shoot. He agreed with Yoongi, he really needed some rest.

"He's talking about Eroth." Hoseok pointed out.

"How do we get there?" Jungkook asked.

That was all that was left. They had to go to Eroth and kill monsters to establish peace. Everyone was saying the monsters would put up a fight, and they had to be prepared.

Jin had just activated his powers and turned a troll into a stone statue. His power was nature. He could control trees and rocks. Jimin had explained that there would be a voice in his head which belonged to a gem. The only accessory he owned, which had a gem, was a ring, like Hoseok's. An ancient family ring, his dad told him, but it always shone like it was new.

Orb was the name of the gem. Its voice rang in his head unexpectedly, making Jin jump badly.

"Hello?" he thought.

"Yes?" Orb said.

Still there.

"I was just wondering, are you going to always be there?" Jin asked. He wasn't comfortable having a voice in his head, reading his thoughts.

"I will be here until my job is done." orb said coldly. It didn't like Jin asking those questions. Jin felt bad, but he didn't enjoy sharing his mind with someone else. Maybe Orb's job would be done sooner than expected, or he would just have to get used to it.

"Night, guess what, I activated my powers." Taehyung shared excitedly.

"Awesome." Night smiled, giving him a high five.

"I think we should go to sleep. We can discuss plans tomorrow." Zia yawned.

"You just woke me up, you aren't going anywhere." Night told her sternly.

"Come on, I'm tired."

"I don't think you can sleep tonight." Jungkook snickered.

"She should still stay in her room tonight." Night added, smirking at Jungkook. The pair grinned evilly at Zia. Zia sighed and held her head in her hands.

"If you two don't stop, I'll make you stab yourself." Zia warned, and both of them fell silent.

Slowly, everyone left and went to bed. It had been a tiring day. Jin followed Hoseok down to his room.

"Hobi," he said. "Hold on a minute."

"Oh, hey." Hoseok mumbled. "How have you been?"

"I have been good. You?"

"I've been good too. I didn't expect you to come with us, you know."

"I only came because of you." Jin said sincerely. If Hoseok wasn't there, Jin would probably decide not to join the Phenomenals on their adventure. "Why did you join them? I know you were kidnapped, but you still loved your job."

Hoseok looked at him shamefully. "I killed a man, Jin."

Jin wouldn't have believed Hoseok if he didn't see the guilt and shame in his eyes. He didn't know what to say.

Hoseok explained what happened when he was kidnapped. His voice barely over a whisper, but Jin caught every word. He followed Hoseok's story with utmost concentration.

Jin nodded. There was something else he wanted to ask.

"So, what else is going on in your life?"

Hoseok tilted his head in confusion before understanding Jin's question. "You mean Zia?" he asked shyly.

"Yeah. Do you like her?"

"I do." He said, smiling brightly. "We kissed tonight."

"Already? So, are you official now?" Jin asked, surprised. He was happy for Hoseok, but he hadn't expected Hoseok to start dating already. It was because of his job that Hoseok didn't get time to see people.

"We haven't talked about it yet." He sighed.

"Then go talk to her!" Jin urged.

"Now? Isn't it a little late?" Hoseok asked uncertainly.

"Love sees no time. Don't make it wait." Jin replied cheesily.

"Is that one of your dialogues?" Hoseok laughed.

"Just go!" Jin said, pushing Hoseok away from his room.

Timidly, Hoseok started walking towards Zia's room.

Jin left and went to his old room. Luckily, no one had occupied it. He snuggled his blankets and fell asleep. Tired after the exhausting day he had.
