"I don't want to talk to you." Seo says. "Go away."

This is how their conversations would start. She always wanted to avoid talking to him, but his day would be colourless if he didn't hear her voice. Even her sharpest words carried a melody not found in the most mystic songs.

"Why?"

"Because you are tall." She sped up and climbed down the stairs.

Sejun catches up with her. "No, you are short."

She sighed deeply and pivoted around the corner. "My height is above average, and I don't associate with people taller than me."

He stared at her for a minute. "Why?"

She spun to look at him. "It's harmful for my pride." She shrugs and leaves.

He watched her go. She evanesced into the crowd.

The bell rung. Inhaling slowly, he turned around. He didn't have a lecture to attend; he was free for another hour. He'd go to the cafeteria and get something to eat. Before he could complete his plan, he saw Mina in front of him.

"Hey, Sejun!" He could hear her laboured breathing through her words. Did she come running to find him? "I was wondering if you want to study at the new café today?"

He stopped himself from rolling his eyes. "I can't today." He curtly replied.

"Why not?"

"I said I can't. Why are you still bugging me?" Her face instantly dropped, and she moved out of his way.

When he walks away from her, his stomach feels heavy. He should have been kinder. Sure, she was annoying, and she would always ask him for something, but she was kind. Different from Seo, but kind.

Sejun strolled towards curvature scrolling through his phone. He could feel sets of eyes on him, but he ignored it.

He found a few of Seo's friends huddled on the table; they were discussing something important with rapt attention. She wasn't there. She must be in class right now then. He concluded.

He sat across from Chan, who was busy with his phone. As he sits down, Chan set his phone on the table. "Came here after she cursed at you?"

"Shut up, Hyung." he grumbled, sliding his bag off his shoulders. "She didn't curse at me this time. Progress."

"Poor girl." Chan mutters. "Why don't you leave her alone? She doesn't want to talk to you."

"She's sweet Hyung, and kind."

"So is Mina. Why do you keep rejecting her then?"

Sejun opened his mouth to say something, but closed it again when no words came out. Mina was not Seo. Since the first year of college, Seo shared a few classes with him. For the first few months, he didn't care about her existence. She was just another girl who he went to class with.

He became popular in the first few days because of Seungsik and Seungwoo Hyung. He to almost every party hosted for the first few months. Then he slowed down, as it was affecting his grades and schedules.

One day while going to buy some pills for his headache, he had seen Seo. First, he was intrigued, and it had grown into an attraction he couldn't control.

Now, he still attended a few parties, but not as enthusiastically as he did before. At some parties, he would see Seo, but she would avoid him more than she did on the campus. Whenever he saw her talking and laughing with some boy, who was standing a little too close to her. He hated it, so much so that he couldn't think of anything else for the rest of the night.

"She's not Seo." he mumbled, his cheek heating.

Chan sighed, "You really need to do something about your crush on Seo. Either get over it or-"

"Date her?" he asked. "How? Whenever I try to talk to her, she always gives me a cold shoulder." He sighed. "She doesn't like me."

No one in the campus liked him. They didn't like him; they liked his reputation- a cold fuck boy. They didn't enjoy spending time with him; they enjoyed the thrill.

"Mopping about Seo, are we?" Subin patted Sejun's back and pulled up a chair beside him. "What's it today?"

"She didn't curse at him." Chan informed.

"Wow, progress." Subin admitted.

Sejun's mind drifted from the conversation. He could occasionally hear a few words of their conversation, but he ignored them. He had to attend two more lectures before he was free for the day. But he didn't want to attend his lectures. He wanted to go to his dorm and lay on the bed for the rest of the day.

His phone vibrates. It was a text from Byeol.

Haven't seen you around. Miss the time we spent ;). Come over tonight.

Sejun stares at his screen, re-reading the message repeatedly. He enjoyed the hours they spent together, fucking each other. She was amazing in bed. They had met at the start of this year and had fucked many times. But both of them knew it was only sex, nothing serious.

Not in a mood to today. He texted back.

Awww :(. She replied. He switched off his phone and pocketed it.

Absentmindedly, Sejun stared at the door. Seo walked in, carrying a bag in her hand. He immediately sat straighter. She dashed directly towards her friends and grabbed Micha's fires and sits down beside her, tackling her best friend into a hug.

"Sejun don't." He heard Chan's voice from far away. "Sit down, let her be." Sejun hadn't realised he had stood up.

He looked at Seo and back towards Chan. He aggressively grabbed his chair and sat back down. Seo didn't notice his presence.

『•••』

It was the last class of the day-designing. Sejun entered the classroom. Seo was already there, so was the professor. She gave him a pointed look over her glasses. He ignored her and threw his bag on his desk. The contents rattled.

He glanced at Seo, but she was concentration on what the professor was writing on the board. He shouldn't be staring at her. If she caught him, she'd glare at him; he had never seen her glare at anyone but him. She blinks, but her concentration doesn't waver from the board. Her coffee-rich eyes reminded him of light reflecting off stones on a bright day. She had recently cut her hair short-to her shoulder, and she looked really hot, especially with her new nose piercing.

Sejun couldn't get her out of his mind for days when he had seen her after the haircut. She had recently broken up with her boyfriend. They had dated for a few months, and Sejun got into a fight with him after he saw Seo crying while Micha was patting her back. From Hanse, he had heard that Seo was over him. It had lifted his heart in the slightest.

"...Kim Hesang you are paired with Choi Beomgyu. Song Seo with Lim Sejun. Do Micha with Park Sunghoon..." The professor announced the pairs.

He was paired with Seo for some project. He looked at Seo. She held his gaze. Her eyes wide and lips agape. He rolls his eyes at her and her eyes immediately harden; she turned away from him and looked at their professor.

"Now these pairs can't be changed. And you will start the working on your projects from this period. These marks will affect your finals. I hope all of you will take this seriously." The professor continued.

The class scattered to their partners. Sejun picked up his back and dumped in a seat beside Seo. "Do you know how bad this is for my reputation?"

"Do you know I don't care?" She snapped at him.

He rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Don't mess up the project and tell me when it's done. Good luck."

"Oh no way, I'm going to do this alone." She scoffs. "And if I am, I'll not credit you for it."

He opened his mouth to say something, but Mina interrupts him. "Hey Seo, do you mind explaining me the assignment again?"

Seo smiles warmly at her. Her expression changed faster than Sejun could blink. Her face relaxes as she replied. "Sure! What would you like to know?"

"Like- do we have to design an entire game or-"

"You don't have to make an entire game, just the basics- what's the game about, the theme/settings, how to play, etc."

"Oh, thank you so much! For the notes too! I have to take you to coffee sometime." Mina chuckles. Maybe Mina wasn't so annoying, Sejun realised, listening to their conversation. She just needed help and assurance.

"I'm waiting!" Seo laughed. Sejun was captivated. He had never heard her laugh before. It was a laugh which made the leaves sway to its note.

Mina gave her a wide smile and went back to her desk.

"Why are you nice to everyone but me?" Sejun mumbled and looked at Seo.

"Because you are the only one who behaves like an asshole." She told him.

"Is that what we have to do? Make a game?" The task is simple. "That's easy. You can handle it yourself."

"Do you really think I'm going to do this alone?"

"If you don't, both of us don't get any grade for this assignment."

"So? I'm not doing this alone."

Sejun raised his eyebrows and smirked. "You finally admit how much you need me. I knew you were hiding something."

Seo slapped her forehead and looked at him as though someone had drawn a mustache over his lips. "How fucking oblivious." She mutters.

"I didn't know you cursed." He comments.

"Why does that concern you?" She asked sternly.

"It doesn't."

"And to clear your misunderstanding, I'm not going to do this project alone and let you take credit for it too."

They argued back and forth over the topic, neither ready to back down. Sejun was enjoying it. It was the first time; she hadn't told him to leave her alone. Their lecture flew away like a dry leaf in a gust of wind.

"Fine!" Sejun said, groaning in frustration. "I'll design the project with you. Come to my dorm at 5." His heart lifted as he turned towards his dorm.

"Wait- Sejun," Seo called. "What's your dorm number?"

"54." Seo nodded and left.

Sejun rushed to his dorm. Hanse would have come back by now. Climbing the last set of stairs, he fiddled with his key, and the door opened to reveal Hanse. He was sprawled on his bed watching the T.V.

"Sejun! You are back!" Hanse said cheerily and grabbed the remote with his feet. "What do you want to watch?"

"Nothing. You have to get out." He replied, taking off his jacket. Sejun opens his side of the closet and gets his clothes.

"Why?"

"Because Seo's coming over." He replied and locked himself in the bathroom.

When he had changed, Hanse was standing outside the bathroom door. "Seo's coming over? How did you manage to do it?"

"We have to work on a project together." Sejun said, trying to contain his excitement. "So please leave."

"Project? What's it about?"

"We have to make some stupid game."

"On you are good at that then."

Sejun hums. "Leave before she comes. I don't want you embarrassing me."

"Okay, okay." Hanse chuckles. "You have fun."

"Fun? We are working on a project."

"Your excitement makes it should as though you are going on a date."

"Oh trust me, if I was, I would have passed out because of the excitement right now."

『•••』

Sejun was sitting on Seo's bed, typing furiously on his laptop, and she was sitting beside him. It had been a month since they were working on their project. They had divided their work- Seo will do the graphic designing, while Sejun will design the structure of the game. I want to draw web novels. Seo had told him.

He could feel a wet feeling tracing the skin of his forearm. He turns away from the computer to see Seo drawing on his forearm, while petting her dog- Eun with her other arm. The students were allowed to have pets in their dorms, as long as the pets didn't enter the college campus.

He had seen Seo caring Eun, in their first year of college, when he had gone to get medicine for his headache. No one could see the dog behind the bush, but Seo had gotten the dog out of the bush and tended for him.

"What are you doing?" He asked and saw the design Seo had made with the black marker.

"Nothing." She replies. "How does it look?"

"Beautiful."

She smiled at him. Sejun's heart sped up, and the air was knocked from his lungs. "How long do you need for the game?"

"I'm almost done, and I'm hungry."

She hummed. "Mina took me to this café, and the food there is impeccable."

He nodded. They take a break and go to the café. It was a warm afternoon. Sejun's skin was tingling walking beside Seo.

"I'll have a honey pastry." Sejun told Seo, trying to hide his blush. She laughed and ordered a mocha for her and his honey pastry.

"I hope we get a good grade on the project." She commented, tucking a stand of hair behind her ear. Clouds of doubt covered her eyes.

"Seo, don't worry, we will." Sejun took a big bite of his pastry. It melted in his mouth, he cooed. "Taste this. It's so fucking delicious. " He brought his spoon with an adequate amount of pastry to her lips. She chuckled, but let him feed her.

"It is! I can't believe I haven't had this before."

Sejun smiled at her. She smiled back. His heart warmed. Maybe, if he wouldn't have messed with her, she wouldn't have avoided him, just as she wasn't now. He'd give up casually fucking others if could enjoy these moments with Seo. He already had.

『•••』

He was right. They had gotten a good grade for their project. He wanted to spend the evening with Seo, but she was hanging out with her friends today. So he decided to accompany Chan and Hanse to a club.

He and Chan sat at the bar, drinking while enjoying the loud music. Chan looked around the club, trying to find someone to spend the night with.

"What do you think about that one?" Chan said, pointing to a girl who was dancing alone.

"She's good." Sejun yelled over the music. "And she knows how to dance."

"Exactly!" Chan winked and make his way to the girl.

Sejun gulped his drink down. He skimmed the dance floor; he wasn't in a mood to dance. He spotted Micha dancing and sat straighter. Was Seo here too?

He hungrily scans the room. He could see many recognisable faces, then he saw her. Seo was sitting at the end of the bar- talking to someone unfamiliar. A fist clenched deep in his chest. He touched his forearm. He hadn't intentionally meant to wipe the tattoo off, but the ink faded when water touched it.

He approached closer. Seo hadn't noticed him. She was invested in the conversation. This made Sejun's blood boil. Memories of the time they spent together surfaced in his mind. Instead of calming him down, it fueled his anger.

The guy she was talking to moved closer to her. Sejun quickened his pace. The music had dulled down with the chatter. All his concentration was on Seo.

"Hey Seo! Lovely seeing you here!" He said, clenching his fists behind his back. He didn't want Seo to see that.

Seo looks at him with marginally raised eyebrows. "Hello. I didn't know you were here too." She smiled.

His heart fluttered. It was a genuine smile, not the tight-lipped one she used to give him preliminary to their project.

The guys beside him rolled his eyes. Sejun broke out of his trance. He studied the guy up and down. He was lean- leaner than Sejun. "Are you are?" Sejun asked indifferently.

"Do Donghyun." He replied curtly, not happy with Sejun's interruption. This pleased the fire burning inside Sejun. He squeezed himself between Seo and Donghyun.

"Seo, you know him?" Donghyun asks, his gaze piercing Sejun.

Sejun moves closer to Seo and his arm circles around her waist. The warmth of her body radiates through him. She looks at him with her lips parted. She was wearing red lipstick. Unintentionally, Sejun's thumb grazes over her soft, red lips. He feels her inhale a sharp breath.

"She knows me, very closely." He responded through gritted teeth.

"I see." Donghyun nods. "You could have said something before-"

Sejun pulls her closer until there was no space for air to move around. His heart was racing. Their bodies were touching. He had never been so close to Seo as he was now. "Yes, she should have said something. Well, we wouldn't want you to waste your night."

Donghyun picked up his drink and left. As Sejun watched him leave, his stomach clenched. Seo wasn't going to be pleased with him.

When Donghyun was out of their sight, Seo pushed him away. Her eyes burned. "What the fuck is wrong with you? It was all going well before you got involved!" She screamed over the music.

His breath shuddered. What will he respond? If he hadn't gotten involved, Seo would have enjoyed the night with Donghyun... not him. Before he formed an answer, Seo turned around and left.

He followed her- through the crowded dance floor and out of the club. She didn't turn around to look at him once. He didn't know if she was aware he was trailing her. He struggled to match her pace.

"Seo, wait!"

She turned around abruptly; he almost bumped into her. He had never seen her so angry. "WHAT?"

"What did you see in that guy?"

"Why does it matter to you? There are so many girls in that club you can fuck, yet why are you following me?" She yelled.

"I don't want to fuck them!"

Her phone rings. He waited in anticipation for her to answer. Time stretches as she dragged it out of her pocket, and answered it. "Yeah, don't worry, I'm going back to the dorm." She glared at him. There was distinct chatter on the other end. One of her friends must have called. "No need, the campus is close enough. I can walk back... Yeah, you too. Will do!" Her tone had softened. "Bye."

Glaring at him once again, Seo left for the campus. Sejun's heart clenched. He had made up his mind. He continued following her. She doesn't glance at him, or talk to him the whole way back.

When they reached the campus, she glared at him for the third him, and rushed towards her dorm. It was late. There weren't many people roaming on the campus grounds, many less in the hallways.

Before Seo could open her dorm door, Sejun ran and stood in front of it. Seo opened her mouth to shout at him again, but he spoke first.

"Why do you always avoid me?" He asked. Seo spots at an arm's length and glares at him. This wasn't the question he wanted to ask, but it had slipped.

"Because you are troubling me for no apparent reason." She responded coldly. "Is that all? Then, go away."

Go away. She hadn't said those works to him for a long time. They pierced his heart like daggers. He took a step closer to her.

"What do you want from me?"

"I know you don't feel the same way I do, but let me say this one thing, and then I won't bother you. I promise."

He took another step closer. Seo didn't move back. She held his gaze. A strand of hair was tucked behind her ear. He wondered if Donghyun had tucked it.

"Sejun, there are so many girls who want to be with you. Why don't you with them?" She whispered.

"Those girls don't interest me, you do." He muttered.

"Since when?"

"That day- in the first year of collage, when you had rescued Eun from that bush. I don't know why, I couldn't get it out of my mind. First I was intrigued, now it's grown into something I can't control." He took another brave step forward and entwined their fingers. "You probably won't believe this." He chuckled softly. "But I really like you."

He gazed at her a little longer. He had nothing else to say. His ribcage felt empty. He stepped away from her. As he had promised, he wouldn't trouble Seo again. He let go of her hand.

He tried to walk away from her, but it was proving to be impossible. He couldn't move- he didn't want to move. Seo hadn't said anything. She was staring at him with her eyes wide. He didn't let go of her hand.

"I wasn't expecting that." Seo whispered. "And I don't want to be dishonest with you." She took a deep breath. "Lim Sejun, I couldn't help falling for your charms."

Sejun stared at the girl in front of him with wide eyes. He wouldn't believe her words if he hadn't seen her lips move. Seo didn't hate him? She didn't! It was as though a weight was lifted off his chest. She didn't hate me... A wide grin split his lips.

He rushed to her and pulled her close to his body. Seo gasped. They were so close- there was no space for air to flow between them. His finger tips graze her waist. Her sharp inhale didn't go unnoticed.

He titled her chin to meet his eyes, their lips inches apart. Seo looked at him through half open lids. She licked her lips.

"Don't. I won't be able to stop myself." Sejun hoarsely whispered.

"It's okay." She muttered. He could feel her warm breath tickle his lips.

Without thinking, Sejun kissed her. Slowly. Again and again. His arm slid around her waist, locking her movements. Her body relaxed against his as she wrapped her hands around his neck.

Her lips were sweeter than honey. He couldn't stop kissing her- and he didn't until they were both breathless. Seo chuckled and rested her forehead against his. No one moved they stayed that way until their breathing had steadied.

Sejun had wanted this for so long. He tried to move on. There were other girls who he could have dated- but his heart wouldn't move on from Seo.

Fire burned through his heart. He crashed his lips on Seo's. She gasped when his teeth scraped her bottom lip as he slips his tongue in her mouth. His heart pounded wildly and blood rushed to his cheeks, making him feel dizzy when Seo pulled him closer. His hands roamed around her waist, and he gripped her hips.

She pressed against him. Their bodies were completely pressed again with each other as she pulled away, her chest heaving.

He held her intense gaze; she looked like she was going to kiss him again. His hands were still gripping her hips. He lifted one leg and wrapped it around her waist. He lifted her and walked back, till her back touched the dorm door.

Seo's lips grazed his before kissing him. Seo moaned when Sejun's teeth grazed her bottom lip. Her fingers treading in his hair. He pulled away and his lips moved along her jaw. She shuddered, and he worked towards her neck.

She pulled his hair, throwing her head back when his tongue licked the skin he had kissed seconds ago. He continued kissing, sucking and nibbling on the soft skin of her neck. She squirmed in his arms, but didn't tell him to stop. He continued until he reach the base of her neck. She shuddered as a low moan slipped past her lips. "Sejun."

He lifted his head and met her eyes. The corners of his lips curved. "You liked that?" He whispered seductively.

Her coffee orbs widened slightly as she nodded, not trusting herself to speak. He chuckled and dipped his head again, kissing and sucking on the same spot until it turned red. He smiled and continued creating hickeys on her collarbones.

Seo tugged his hair as she tried not to move. Sejun was focused on making her feel good. He enjoyed hearing her moans and gasps, the way she tugged his hair when the pleasure was unbearable. How she perfectly fit in his arms. His grip on her tightened as he pressed her against the door. His heart melted when he kissed her again- softly this time.

-slxrpysxjun- I hope you enjoyed reading this. The make-out scene is a little small, I was nervous writing this cause this is the first time I'm writing an elaborate make-out scene. Hope you can excuse it, but if you want, I can edit this one, to make it longer.

How was this one-shot?

Vote and comment. It would mean a lot to me.
