Oh, amore

"NO, YOU WON'T," Eden warns as she enters the living room. She opens her palms, releasing her purple vapors as the smoke wraps around Jacob's body, holding him up in the air, the knife falling from his hold.

"Rosalie, get the baby out of here. Go to the cottage." Eden orders as she looks behind her shoulder, seeing Rosalie rocking the baby back and forth, "Her name is Renesmee." Rosalie says with a worried look on her face. Then without a word, she was gone.

Eden looked back at Jacob with no emotion in her eyes. All she could see was red, and she entered the living room just in time to see Jacob approaching Rosalie with a knife in his hand, planning to kill Rosalie and the baby. He should really give Rosalie some credit. Rosalie would have killed him without even messing up the golden curls of her hair.

"Now tell me why I shouldn't kill you right here, right now," Eden asks as the vapors tighten their hold on Jacob, slowly suffocating him as he struggles. Then she hears the shape shifters running towards the house. Then Edward runs towards the living room with blood on his face and clothes.

Edward looked at Jacob with a betrayed expression on his face, then turned into anger, "Deal with him later. We won't let them hurt her." Then he runs towards the backyard. Eden looks at Jacob with a sadistic grin, tilting her head. "It's your lucky day, Jacob Black." She throws him towards the wall as Jacob goes unconscious.

Eden runs towards the backyard and sees the shape shifters attacking her family. And Eden opens her palms, the smoke scattered from one shape shifter to another, and they begin to look around worriedly. As the vapor wraps around their body, Eden lifts her hand, raising them through the air.

"You come here, in our home, planning to kill us." Eden grins as she walks towards the shape shifters who were whimpering, except the big black wold who managed to stay fearless of Eden. Emmett and Christopher went to her side as the rest of the family surrounded the front of the house.

"Please, you couldn't kill me, I was the Volturi's greatest weapon, and they weakened when I left. I could kill your pack with just my palms. You are no match for me, Sam Uley, to think that your pack didn't take me as a threat. I'm quite offended. I think I'm losing my touch."  Eden says casually with a tilt of her head as she releases a sigh. Sam Uley said he could quickly kill her if she didn't have her abilities.

"Trust me. You are not losing your touch." Emmett whispers. And Eden managed to smile. She looked behind her shoulder, seeing Carlisle look at her in pleading as he shook his head lightly.

Buzzkill.

"Carlisle just saved your pack's life. Congratulations, you'll are not dying today." Eden says with a roll of her eyes. Then she calls out, "Cordelia if you please."

Cordelia walks towards her, warily looking at the wolves, and places her hand on Eden's shoulder.

"You can manipulate memories, right?" Eden asked Cordelia as they talked privately in her room. Cordelia looks at her questionably but nods.

"I feel the shape shifters will be attacking when Bella gives birth, and they'll think we're all occupied with Bella," Eden tells her, and Cordelia listens intently. "Carlisle doesn't want me to kill the shape shifters," she says, rolling her eyes as Cordelia grins.

"I need you to manipulate the shape shifter's memory of the baby, growing normally, with the same diet as us, and show them what the baby will look like in their teenage years." Eden tells her as she looks at Eden intently, "Can you do it?"

"I can do it."

Cordelia then closes her eyes as the memory passes through Eden's mind as Eden projects it into the shape shifter's mind.

Renesmee grew throughout the years until she reached her teenage years with a bright smile on her face as Edward approached her with a joyous smile. She looked exactly like Bella with her brown hair, perfectly shaped face, and plump pink lips, her snowy white skin slightly glowing as the sunlight touched her skin.

"As you can see, she is no threat to the tribe or to the people of Forks," Eden says as she continues her illusion. She doesn't really know if Renesmee would be a threat or not. Still, for now, she will protect Renesmee, even if that means lying and creating an illusion that would make the pack trust her enough.

Or if they proceed, she'll kill them.

She couldn't care less, really.

"Now, it's your choice if you still want to kill an innocent child, stealing her future of living in peace with us," Eden tells them. She would have threatened that they don't have a choice in the matter, but that wouldn't help in her favor.

Then they heard Sam's answer, and she let them go. Cordelia walks back towards Alice, with Alice looking at Cordelia questionably, and she shakes her head.

She hears Jacob's approaching footsteps, and Eden extends her palms toward his direction as the purple vapors, again, wrap around his body. Then Eden throws his body towards the shape shifters.

"Jacob Black can no longer enter our lands. If he does, I won't hesitate to send his chopped body to your doorstep, Sam Uley." Eden says as the vapors go back to her palm. "The treaty is still intact, don't worry, Sam, we'll leave in a few years. I'm quite enjoying Forks." She tells him with a taunting smile, and they leave without protest dragging Jacob Black with them.

Then Eden felt it again, extreme exhaustion. She felt it all at once, and she used too much of her abilities again. Her knees buckled until all she saw was black.

Emmett immediately caught her, holding her waist as he scooped her in his arms, looking at Carlisle in panic. The rest of the family circled, looking at Eden worriedly. They had have never seen a vampire who passed out before.

"Carlisle, what's happening!?" Emmett's voice was high in panic. Carlisle was immediately beside him, "Take her inside. She used too much of her ability." He orders Emmett as he runs towards the house with the rest of the family following behind him.

Carlisle placed a hand on his forehead. He warned Eden not to use her ability and challenge its limits, and he should have stopped her when she was using too much. He only saw this happen once when he was with the Volturi with her.

He walks towards the house and the basement, where the blood bags are stacked, taking two blood bags. He then returns to the living room just in time for Rosalie to barge in with Renesmee in her arms.

"What happened?" Rosalie demands worriedly, without even glancing as she practically shoved Renesmee in Edward's arms, sitting beside her wife, placing Eden's head on her lap.

"She's fine, Rosalie. She used too much of her abilities, that her body was too exhausted. Her ability takes a toll on her." Carlisle answers as he places the blood bags on the coffee table. Rosalie looks at him questionably.

"Has this happened before?" Rosalie asks as she combes Eden's hair. Carlisle nods, "Once, when the Volturi sent her to eliminate a coven on her own, luckily, she wanted me to come, and I was there when it happened."

"How long was she out?" Emmett asks, his eyes locked on Eden's unconscious body. He had never felt that scared before when Eden suddenly passed out. He felt helpless when he was carrying his best friend's body.

"Two days," Carlisle answers shortly, and Rosalie releases a heavy sigh. She carefully lifts Eden off the coach, and Alice says, "Rose, would you like me t-"

"No." Rosalie was quick to deny, her tone sharp, then Rosalie looked at her apologetically. "I'll take care of her." Alice nods in understanding as she backs away into Cordelia's arms as the family watches Rosalie carry her toward their separate cottages.

Rosalie lays Eden on their bed, surrounding her with pillows and blankets, making Eden comfortable as much as possible. Rosalie sits at the edge of the bed, holding Eden's hand.

"You better wake up, Eden Vera Devraux-Hale. Because if you don't, you don't have my permission to leave me." Rosalie says, her voice firm, tightening her hold on Eden's hand. Rosalie leans in, kissing Eden's forehead, "Just wake up for me, please."

And Rosalie stayed beside her the entire time.

It was morning when Emmett entered the cottage with a wine bottle full of animal blood in his hand. He enters Eden and Rosalie's bedroom and sees Eden on the bed, still unconscious. He then sees Rosalie sitting beside Eden.

Emmett walks toward Rosalie, placing the wine bottle on the bedside table, "Drink, Rose, you haven't fed for three weeks."

Rosalie answers without glancing at Emmett. "I won't eat until she wakes up."

Emmett sighs as he sits on the end of the bed, "She wouldn't like you starving yourself, Rose."

Rosalie looks at him, with Emmett just nodding. She purses her lips, takes the wine bottle, opens the cap, places the mouth of the bottle to her lips then liquid touches her tongue. She didn't know she was hungry until she tasted the blood on her tongue as she drank from the bottle hungrily, stopping when the bottle was half-full.

"I was too focused on Renesmee to even attend to my wife. Her entire stay here was with me fuzzing over Bella." Rosalie then says as she places the wine bottle on the bedside table. Emmett shakes his head in disagreement.

"She understands, Rose, don't blame yourself." Emmett tells her, then he chuckles, continuing, "We're so bad, and we're betting on how long Renesmee will live." Emmett tells her with a booming laugh as Rosalie manages to smile.

Of course, Eden betted that, they didn't know if Renesmee was more human that managed to live an everyday human life or more of a vampire who lives forever. All they know is that Renesmee is half-human and half-vampire.

Emmett stands up, saying, "She'll wake up soon." He leaves.

Rosalie stayed the entire time again at Eden's side, never leaving the cottage. It was the next day when Alice and Cordelia entered their bedroom, with Alice sporting a smile.

"She'll wake up in a few minutes," Alice says. Now that her vision was back to normal, she saw that Eden would wake up today. She already told the family they wanted to come and be there for Eden when she woke up, but Emmett stopped them, telling them to let Rosalie and Eden alone first.

Rosalie sighs in relief as she takes Eden's hand, placing a kiss on the back of her hand. Alice and Cordelia look at each other with a smile, then leaves the cottage.

Eden blinks her eyes open, and she feels oddly well-rested. She looks to her side, seeing Rosalie smiling at her softly, "Hey." Rosalie greets as she combs Eden's hair.

"Who are you?" Eden asks, and Rosalie's eyes widen as she stands up from her seat. Eden chuckles, "I'm just joking, Rose!"

Rosalie looks at her as she crosses her arms and exclaims annoyingly, "That's not a good fucking joke, Eden!"

"Oh, it is. You look so glum," Eden says as she sits up, with Rosalie helping her.

"You've been unconscious for two days," Rosalie informs her, and Eden looks at her confusedly.

"What?"

"You passed out. Carlisle said your ability took a toll on you." Rosalie tells her. Then Eden got her answer on why she felt so well-rested.

"Oh," Eden says, then Rosalie offers her a blood bag, with Eden drinking the liquid.

Then she asks, "What happened to Bella and Renesmee?"

Rosalie scoots beside her on the bed, leaning on her shoulder as she wraps her arm around Eden's stomach. She honestly doesn't know what's happening with Bella, and she doesn't care. When she saw Eden's unconscious body on the couch, all Rosalie could think about was her, not Bella, not Renesmee, her wife, Eden.

"I haven't left the house since you passed out. I heard that Bella was in transition." Rosalie answers, and Eden looks at her, "You haven't left the house? Meaning you haven't fed?"

"Just for once, let me take care of you," Rosalie scolds, and Eden couldn't help but smile. Her wife was such a softy when it came to her, and Eden was the same, "Emmett brought me animal blood yesterday."

"You're so in love with me. I couldn't blame you. I'm amazing." Eden teases, trying to lighten Rosalie's mood. "I thought you're never going to wake up," Rosalie mumbles, and Eden purses her lips, placing a hand on her chin, lifting Rosalie's chin to make her look at her.

"I'm never going to leave you, Rose, not if I could help it. You're stuck with me forever." Eden promises as she captures Rosalie's lips on hers, Eden's plump lips moving in sync with Rosalie's.

The feeling of pure delight washes over them as their affection for one another surrounds them, and their love for each other deepens.

Eden pulls away, their foreheads touching.

"I'll cherish forever with you. I love you, Eden, constantly, consistently, continually, you." Rosalie whispers.

"I love you, Rose. I fell in love with you because there wasn't a way I couldn't. Oh, amore, I love you endlessly."
