[ 1 WEEK BEFORE ]

"Y/NIEEEEE," Tendou sings as he runs up to the girl who was currently setting up the volleyball net.

"What's up Satori?"

"Are you coming with us to eat? Semisemi is inviting," Tendou starts helping her finish setting up the net.

"I'm not sure," Y/N sighs. "I have a biology test to study for. If I don't get higher than a C, then I'm failing the class."

"When's your test?"

"On Friday," Y/N responds as she walks over to the storage room to get the volleyball cart.

"That's 6 days from now," Tendou says after counting his fingers. "Come on Y/N, please come with us. I don't want to go alone."

"What are you talking about?"

"When Semisemi invited the whole team during lunch, a group of fangirls nearby heard and plan on coming with us as well," Tendou sighs. "So will you please comeeeee?"

"Mmmmm," Y/N thought for a moment. As a manager, Y/N has faced many fangirls of the team before, and to be honest, she couldn't stand them.

"Shirabu will be there," Tendou says which made Y/N's expression change completely.

"Fine, I'll go," she nods which makes Tendou cheer and lift her up in the air.

"Satori," Y/N laughs. "Put me down."

"What are you guys doing?" A voice was heard at the entrance of the gym. Tendou and Y/N both turn their gaze to who the voice belonged to.

"Oh, hey Shirabu-kun," Y/N waves as Tendou places her down.

"I'm going to change," Shirabu says as he passes between the two to go to the lockers.

"Someone is in a bad mood," Tendou whispers to Y/N. Y/N just nodded as she saw Shirabu disappear into the locker room. "I should go change too. The rest of the team should be here soon."

"Alright," Y/N said as she grabbed a bag full of water bottles in order to fill them up outside. As she fills up the water bottles, she gets greeted by some team members as they enter the gym. Once she finishes, she goes inside the gym and takes the filled water bottles out of the bag.

"GOOD MORNING Y/N-CHAN," she hears someone say with a tone of happiness.

"Hm? Oh, good morning Goshiki-kun," she gives him a smile which makes him blush.

"Did you sleep well? Did you eat a good breakfast? How are you doing tod-"

"Goshiki-kun," she stops him. "Go change before you get scolded by the coach and we could talk later on okay?"

"Of course," Goshiki says. "Anything for you Y/N!"

He runs off into the locker rooms which makes Y/N laugh. She looks over to her right and sees Shirabu just glaring at Goshiki. Before she could go talk to him, someone covers her eyes. "Guess who?"

Y/N puts a finger on her chin. "Is it Semi-senpai?"

"Don't call me that!"

"I knew it," she laughs as he takes his hands off. "I heard you were taking the team out to eat."

"I am," Semi nods. "That includes you. Are you coming?"

"Of course I am," Y/N responds.

[ 4 HOURS LATER ]

"Here you go Shirabu-kun," Y/N smiles as she hands him a water bottle and towel.

"Thanks," Shirabu mutters as he takes them from her hands.

"Shirabu-kun," Y/N cooed as she sits down next to the tired setter.

"What do you want?"

"You're in class 4 right?" Shirabu gives a small nod as he drinks his water. "Can you help me study for my biology test? I really need to get a good grade on it!"

"No," he responded coldly.

"Why not?" Y/N pouts.

"You get distracted too easily and barely pay attention," Shirabu says.

"I promise I'll listen to you! Please help me," Y/N begs.

"No," Shirabu responds coldly again.

"I could help you Y/N, "Semi approaches the two.

"Really?" Semi gives her a smile and nods.

"Thank you Semi-senpai," Y/N says which makes Semi blush while Shirabu just scoffed.

"I told you not to call me that," Semi mutters. "We could start tomorrow. Where do you want to study?"

"Come by to my dorm," Y/N answers which makes Shirabu choke on his water. "Are you okay Shirabu-kun?"

"I'm fine," Shirabu snaps.

"Are you s-"

"I said I'm fine," Shirabu stands up. "Imma go now."

"He's in a bad mood," Semi comments.

"You're the second person to say that," Y/N sighed. Semi shifts his gaze over to Y/N who was looking at Shirabu as he leaves to the locker rooms. Semi knew that Y/N has had the longest crush on Shirabu and it got him mad that Shirabu wouldn't realize her feelings.

"Well," Semi speaks up. "We should go and get ready. We're meeting at the front of the gates at 6 to go out."

"Okay," Y/N says as she stands up. She walks over to the coach and hands him the notes she took of the team.

"Thank you Y/N," Washijo says as he skims over the notes. "You're a great help to the team. Do you want one of the boys to help you clean?"

"It's okay," Y/N shakes her head. "They must all be tired out from practicing for four hours straight."

"Okay then. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday," he waves as he leaves towards his office.

A few minutes after, Y/N finished cleaning and checked the locker rooms to make sure no one was in there before she locked the gym doors. She then sees the copper-hair setter still inside, sitting down on one of the benches inside the locker room.

"Shirabu-kun? I thought you left already," Y/N spoke up.

"I was waiting," Shirabu says.

"Waiting?"

"For you," Shirabu looks up at her.

"For me? Why?"

"Well," Shirabu rummages inside his backpack and takes to some papers. "I have some notes that could help you with your biology test."

He hands her the papers and her eyes gleam with joy. "Thank you Shirabu-kun," she wraps her arms around his torso which catches him by surprise.

"Um, it's not that big of a deal," he mutters. Just then, the locker room's doors open and they both heard a gasp.

"Y/N and Shirabu sitting on a tree," Tendou playfully sings.

"K-I-S-S-I-N-G," Kawanishi finishes.

"It's not like that," Shirabu glares at them. "You guys are so childish."

Y/N lets go of Shirabu and tells the boys to get out so she could lock up the gym. Kawanishi and Shirabu both leave towards their dorm, since they both shared it, while Tendou waited for Y/N to finish up locking the gym.

"So are we going to talk about you hugging Shirabu alone in the locker rooms orrr," Tendou smirks.

"Shut up," Y/N playfully hits his arm.
