3 months later

"Is that Mr. Choi's husband?" someone asked, their voice filled with awe.

"They make a picture-perfect couple," another person chimed in. "I didn’t realize Yeonjun had a husband. He keeps him well hidden!"

As Yeonjun entered the grand hall with Beomgyu holding his arm, all eyes turned to them. Murmurs of surprise and admiration filled the air, and whispers could be heard all around.

The chatter and amazement continued, as the people present at the party couldn't help but admire the striking duo. Beomgyu radiated an understated elegance, his slender frame draped in an expensive suit that hugged his figure effortlessly.

Meanwhile, Yeonjun exuded an air of power and control, his sharp features and confident stride capturing everyone's attention.

Together, they made a truly stunning pair, both equally charismatic and sophisticated.

Jiwon approached Yeonjun and Beomgyu, her demeanor as graceful and poised as ever. The deep hue of her wine red dress contrasted beautifully with the color of her skin, and the fabric flowed elegantly around her slim frame, highlighting her femininity.

"Look who decided to arrive fashionably late," she teased, a hint of a smile dancing on her lips.
"I was starting to worry you two won't show up."

"Fashionably late is my signature move," Yeonjun quipped back, his arm tightening around Beomgyu's waist.
"And like hell was I going to miss this celebration."

"Yeah, it's OUR success celebration afterall." Jiwon smirked, swirling the champagne in the glass she held elegantly in her hands.

"Indeed it is," Yeonjun agreed, with a hint of satisfaction. He glanced around the grand hall, taking in the sight of the crowd, the decorations, the celebration unfolding all around them.

"And I have to say, you've outdone yourself, Jiwon. Everything is just perfect.”

"Ofcourse it is. I organised it afterall." She chuckled proudly, the compliment from Yeonjun making her feel satisfied about the efforts she had put for the party.

The project they were working on, had been launched successfully, creating a loud noise in the market, the game getting a million of downloads right away within a week of it's launch.

So to celebrate their success for the collaboration, Jiwon had organised a celebration party, inviting every of her friends and people she had connections with, and the team who worked together in this project.

"As expected of you." Yeonjun smiled, wrapping his arm around Beomgyu's waist, pulling him closer, as he spoke-
"You were complaining about meeting Beomgyu officially right? so meet him properly now."

Yeonjun's words and the way he wrapped his arm around his waist made Beomgyu flush a little, but he managed to keep his expressions composed, and smiled at Jiwon.

"I know the setting we saw each other in last time wasn't very nice, but pleasure to finally meet you properly, Jiwon." With an outstretched hand for a handshake, Beomgyu quipped with a charming smile, to which Jiwon smiled as well, shaking hands with Beomgyu.

"Fancy meeting you too, Beomgyu. Heard a lot about you from Yeonjun on a daily basis," teased Jiwon, a shit-eating grin on her face as she watched Yeonjun blush, coughing to hide his embarrassment.

"Oh? Is that so? I see, Yeonjun loves me a lot." Beomgyu chuckled, smirking along with Jiwon when he saw Yeonjun's flustered face, finding him absolutely endearing right now.

"Okay you two, keep your heart eyes to yourself, I don't need to witness you two being disgusting," Jiwon spoke, making a disgusted face, but the fond sparkle never left her eyes.

"Just say you're Jealous you're single." Yeonjun retorted back, kissing Beomgyu's knuckles right infront of her to annoy her.

But instead of being annoyed, she smirked.

"Single? Me? Not anymore Junie," she whispered with a hint of a pride, lips curled up into a teasing smile.
"And dare I say, he's hotter than you." She added to rile up Yeonjun, who successfully took offence from it.

"Oh? Let's see who's this hotter than Yeonjun man then," smirked Yeonjun, keeping his eyes close on her, while Beomgyu just chuckled, being a witness of their banter.

"He'll be here any secon- oh, here he is," she smiled, waving at somebody, which made both Yeonjun and Beomgyu turn around, their eyes widening in shock.

"Choi Soobin???" Both of them gasped at the same time, confusion written all over their face as Soobin approached them shyly.

"I'm not too late, right?" He laughed awkwardly, until Jiwon walked beside him, linking arms with the taller man.

"Nope, just on time Binnie," grinned Jiwon, looking at the couple staring at them with bewilderment.

"Soobin-?" Beomgyu whispered, gawking at him in shock.

His ex dating his husband's ex? That's such a crazy coincidence.

"Y-yeah.." Soobin shyly rubbed his nape, blushing when he felt Jiwon interwining their hands.

Yeonjun and Beomgyu stood there, speechless for a moment, shocked by the unlikely pairing of Jiwon and Soobin.

"When did this happen?" Yeonjun finally managed to ask, his eyes still wide in disbelief.

Soobin chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "It happened pretty unexpectedly. We just...clicked, you know?"

"Looks like we're in for a story-time huh? Enjoying the gossip without us?" A voice all of them recognised too well, made it's presence known.

"Finally you two are here. Just what we were missing." Yeonjun laughed, watching Taehyun and Huening Kai arrive hand in hand, with flashing smiles and perfect sync to their steps.

"Ofcourse. Can't miss some nice gossip now can we?" Kai chuckled, already knowing his Cousin was dating Jiwon.
"Though I already knew everything."

"You did? How?" Taehyun asked, surprised at how his boyfriend knew about it when nobody did.

"Remember the cousin you were jealous of? It was Soobin. Soobin is my cousin, so I already know everything about them. Soobin asked me for advice too." He chuckled, making everyone gasp in surprise.

"What a small world, damn.." Beomgyu laughed, and soon all of them joined, laughing at the weird coincidence of this situation. Everyone was connected to each other somehow, how crazy. It's like they were a close family now.

"So... shall we let my lovestory unfold infront of you guys? Let's go take a table and chat about it? Sounds good?" Jiwon suggested with a smile, and everyone found themselves nodding, ready for a story-time and a night filled with enjoyment and fun.

"Hell yeah, I wanna know how this dumbass managed to bag a woman like YOU!" Beomgyu teased, to which Soobin just gave him an offended look, but accompanied with them anyways.

They settled down at one of the elegant circular tables, each of them grabbing a seat and making themselves comfortable. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of warmth and excitement, the perfect setup for a fun evening of storytelling and laughter.

"Alright, Jiwon," Beomgyu began, "tell us the whole story. How in the world did you end up with Soobin of all people?"

Jiwon chuckled, a small smile playing on her lips as she took a sip from her champagne glass.

"Alright, alright, you guys are so damn eager to know my love story," she laughed, setting her glass back down on the table, "But yes, let me tell you how it all began..."

She explained how she fell in love at first sight with Soobin, which had the taller blushing and getting teased by Beomgyu and Kai, and Jiwon continued to tell the rest of it.

"Damn, never took you to be the forward type Wonie." Yeonjun commented with amusement, laughing along the others as he heard how many times she embarrassed herself to charm Soobin.

"Yeah, I told you I'm not the old Jiwon you knew! Plus my tactics worked okay? I pulled him!" She replied with a huff, and Soobin just chuckled shyly, holding her hand under the table.

"Do you know, she booked the whole order of pasteries, literally 100 pasteries, just to see Soobin and confess to him?" Kai dropped the information accompanied with his dolphin laugh, making the others laugh as well.

"You did...what? 100 pastries? Really?" Yeonjun's eyes widened in shock, not believing the extent of Jiwon's efforts.

Beomgyu and the others couldn't help but burst into laughter, the image of Jiwon drowning in pastries for a chance to see Soobin, too much to handle.

Soobin blushed even more, hiding his face in the palm of his free hand while Jiwon just looked unapologetic.

"I mean, he refused to see me and wasn't even present whenever I came to the cafΓ©, so I thought why not book the whole pastry order by Jaemi's name, so he has to see me? He can't confirm the order without seeing the customer." She replied proudly, making the others giggle.

Beomgyu chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. "100 pastries? That's some next level dedication. And the whole secret identity thing, using someone else's name to force him to come and see you..."

He looked at Jiwon, an impressed smile on his face. "I've gotta admit, it's crazy, but it worked. He's sitting right here, holding your hand. So, I guess it wasn't so crazy after all."

Soobin just chuckled, his ears turning red. "What can I say, she was relentless. I didn't stand a chance of resisting her."

Taehyun let out a snort of laughter. "Relentless is an understatement. You basically stalked the poor guy just to confess to him."

Kai chuckled too, shaking his head at Jiwon's extreme methods. "You should write a manual on how to win someone's heart. Step One: Order 100 pastries and lie about your identity. Guaranteed success, apparently!"

The whole table burst into a series of giggles and laughter hearing Kai's words, agreeing with them.

The night continued in a delightful mix of laughter, drinks, and easy banter. The air was filled with a sense of warmth and comfort, as the group relished the company of one another.

Beomgyu leaned into Yeonjun's side, resting his head on the older man's shoulder with a content sigh.

"This is nice," he murmured, voice just loud enough for Yeonjun to hear. "Just hanging out like this with everyone."

Yeonjun nodded, his arm wrapping around Beomgyu's waist and pulling him a little closer.

"Yeah, it is," he agreed, the warmth in his tone matching the comfort of the moment. His gaze moved from his husband to the rest of the table, where Kai and Soobin were currently engaged in a playful argument.

"They look happy," he said, nodding towards the couple. "Who would've thought Jiwon would end up with Soobin out of all people?"

Beomgyu chuckled, following Yeonjun's gaze to the bickering pair.
"Yeah, never thought our exes would be the perfect matches." he quipped, a slight smirk on his lips.

Yeonjun laughed, the sound a little fond. "Let's take a photo before they start pulling each other's hair," he suggested with a tipsy smile.

"Yes! Guys let's take a picture!!" Beomgyu chirped, a little flushed and tispy from the alcohol, taking out his phone.

The group, slightly tipsy from the champagne and the lively atmosphere, gladly obliged.

They all scooted their chairs close, shuffling around to position themselves in a group shot. Yeonjun wrapped one arm around Beomgyu, pulling him against his side so they were pressed together, with Soobin and Jiwon next to them, making hearts and Kai and Taehyun on the other side, making peace signs.

"Okay, ready?" Yeonjun asked, his finger hovering over the camera button. "On the count of three, say cheese!"

"Yeah, okay!"

"I'm gonna take it! One...two...three...."

"CHEESE!!"

Click!

The camera shutter clicked, capturing the picture-perfect moment in a single frame.

"I look so handsome as always." Beomgyu quipped and everyone else chuckled, praising themselves alike.

The people, who once never imagined ever talking to each other like this, were now giggling and teasing each other, grateful from the inside for how it had ended up.

Taehyun was the happiest with Huening Kai, who made emotions and words of love come so easy to him.

His crush which he thought was unrequited was requited all along, and now he couldn't wait for the future he had with him by his side.

Soobin, who thought he did the biggest mistake by losing Beomgyu, was now not so glum and depressed, having Jiwon...a woman he never thought he'd ever find.

Both of their love stories had ended tragically, because it was needed for them to meet. Their past was necessary to be fucked up, because their fate was each other.

While Beomgyu and Yeonjun...filled each others gap the way no one else could.
Beomgyu completed Yeonjun, cherishing his flaws; while Yeonjun pulled him together in moments when his light felt dim.

They were the perfect soulmates, who were destined to be together not with just luck, but with efforts. They made it happen.

If searching for Yeonjun's love was like searching the Value of X, then Beomgyu knew all the theorems and formulas, and successfully found the X of Yeonjun's heart, by doing 30 days of Love and Math.

The end
