11:00 pm. Yeonjun still isn't home.
People might think that Beomgyu is stupid for waiting for someone who couldn't care less even if he's sick somewhere. But Beomgyu, he's not like that. It's his personality, to care and love. He wears his heart on the sleeve. He likes Yeonjun, and he will win him with his love, he's sure of it.
"It's just been a month, I can't give up so easily!!" Beomgyu thought, as he finished marking his student's copies, getting up from the study-table in his big room, heading towards the kitchen.
He isn't really much of a cook, but he can surely make some simple things.
"Pasta seems easy enough, god I just hope I don't end up burning the kitchen." Beomgyu thought to himself, as he made his way to the kitchen. Maybe with the help of Mrs.Lee, he can make a decent dinner.
"Let's do this!"

It was 11:30 pm by now, and Beomgyu successfully managed to cook some pasta with the help of Mrs.Lee without burning down the kitchen today. He was proud of his accomplishment. Now, just Yeonjun needs to come home.
"Yeah, thanks." Speak of the devil. Yeonjun's voice was heard, as he probably greeted back the maids downstairs.
"He's home!!" Beomgyu excitedly ran out of the kitchen to see Yeonjun definitely was home, and he looked pretty neutral today, no sign of a bad mood. Maybe, Beomgyu can have his chance today.
"Welcome back Yeonjun!" Beomgyu said, greeting his husband with his usual cheerful voice, which made Yeonjun turn his head towards him.
"Thanks." He answered.
"Woah? He didn't say any insulting words today? He must be in a good mood." Beomgyu thought to himself with a stupid smile on his face. Since when did his standards stoop so low? He doesn't care.
He smiled and decided to shoot his shot before things got awkward in the room.
"By the way... I cooked dinner for us. It's a dish that you like...It's pasta. Would you like to try it?" He asked, hoping Yeonjun would say yes.
"Well, I won't say no to food." Yeonjun nodded mindlessly. He was in a good mood today, and somehow making Beomgyu sad right now wasn't in his to-do list.
Beomgyu's face lit up at his response. He happily rushed back to the kitchen to get the prepared dish. He brought the dish himself, placing it on the dining table along with the cutlery.
"I hope you like it... And please don't be so critical towards me. I can't handle it when you're always this rude to me." Beomgyu said, hoping his hard Work won't go to waste.
"Hmm, not my fault you're so annoying and overly sweet." Yeonjun replied, taking a seat across Beomgyu on the dining table.
"Okay, this is actually good." Yeonjun said with a hum, as he took the first bite.
"Didn't know this annoying motor-mouth can cook this well." Yeonjun thought to himself, as he continued to eat the pasta Beomgyu cooked for him.
While watching his husband eat, Beomgyu felt relieved when he found it tasty. He smiled happily, but then he got a bit embarrassed when he realised the way he acted recently. He thought to himself,
"Maybe I was way too sweet towards him..? I have to take it slow."
Even with Yeonjun's cold and critical behaviour, Beomgyu kept smiling at him and didn't say anything for a while. He couldn't stop glancing at him and smiling. He was totally whipped for this man, even though he doesn't care one bit about him.
"Stop that creepily sweet staring session of yours, I'm eating here." Yeonjun broke the silence, looking at him with a questioning gaze, which made Beomgyu blush in embarrassment. Curse his damn whipped self.
Yeonjun sighed. He was tired of his antics, he gave him all the signs that he isn't even an inch close to liking him, yet he doesn't stop his annoying attitude towards him. Sometimes he feels bad for Beomgyu, the poor man got set up with the wrong man.
"I have to put an end to this. He's so damn annoying!" Yeonjun thought to himself, taking a deep breath to calm down.
"You said you love me right?" Yeonjun asked, finally looking at his supposed husband.
Beomgyu's smile faded after hearing his cold words again. He lowered his eyes and stopped looking at Yeonjun directly, avoiding eye-contact. He nodded at his question as well.
"Yes, I am genuinely in love with you... And not because of my parents..." He admitted timidly. Why was Yeonjun suddenly asking this?
"Okay, I'll give you a chance."
Yeonjun announced, which made Beomgyu freeze in his spot. Give him a chance? Is this happening for real?
"Making that Pasta was an amazing choice!! Good job Beomgyu!!" Beomgyu internally cheered himself on, and decided to listen to Yeonjun further.
"One month. You fell for me in a month right?" Yeonjun asked again.
He nodded as an answer to confirm that he did fall in love with him in a month.
"Yes, I did...are you really giving me a chance?"
He asked, looking straight at him with a hope in his eyes.
"Yes, I'll give you a chance." Yeonjun nodded, and Beomgyu was about to ask more questions, but Yeonjun interrupted him.
"Don't get all excited. It's not that easy. I have a challenge for you." Yeonjun said with a smirk. He's 100% Beomgyu will never be able to win against his amazing plan.
"Challenge?" Beomgyu asked, blinking his eyes like a cat in confusion.
"Yes. You have 30 days to make me fall in love with you. You said you fell for me in a month right? I'm giving you the same opportunity. If you manage to make me fall for you in 30 days, I accept my defeat." Yeonjun replied, putting down the fork and resting his chin on his palm.
Bewildered but determined, Beomgyu nodded his head in the affirmative. He's going to try his best. He's glad to know that he has been given a chance. Taking challenges in his favourite thing, he likes complex things, just like he likes Math.
"Yes, I can!" He replied with confidence.
"Okay. The rules are, you can only do one thing everyday, and no attempts to kiss, not even close! Understood?" Yeonjun added.
"And just to clarify... What exactly do I have to do everyday?"
Beomgyu asked, making sure he had correctly understood Yeonjun's condition.
"That's up to you." Yeonjun answered simply.
"One thing a day, a step to make me fall for you. Sounds nice doesn't it?" Yeonjun said with a cheeky smile, knowing his plan would work 100%. No way in hell this annoying motor-mouth can make him fall for him in a month. That's an impossible task.
"Poor Beomgyu, tch. So excited about something so stupid." Yeonjun thought to himself with a chuckle. This brunette might be a Maths Professor, but he's still dumb and naive.
Beomgyu was a little nervous but excited at the same time as he realised the responsibility he's taking upon himself. However, he still wants to try his best.
So he asks him a question before he starts the challenge.
"Can I ask you one thing though?" He asked.
"Hmm, go on."
Yeonjun nodded, leaning back on the chair and crossing his arms.
"Do you promise to be nice to me now? Or at least not be too cold towards me?"
Beomgyu asked hesitantly, looking at him with pleading eyes. He wished that Yeonjun wouldn't be too critical towards him in this time of challenge.
"Hmm. Alright, I'll try." Yeonjun agreed, seeing the pleading look in Beomgyu's eyes.
"Won't hurt being a little nice to him for a month right? I will get rid of him after that anyways." Yeonjun thought to himself.
Beomgyu's face lit up when he heard his positive answer. He's glad that Yeonjun agreed to not be too cold towards him in this time of challenge. And he has a bit of hope in his heart now. He smiled at him and asked another question.
"Okay, can I start the challenge right from tomorrow?" He asked, already excited to show how much he loves him.
"Yes" Yeonjun replied shortly, getting tired of the Younger's hyper-energy already. Was this guy a puppy or something?
Beomgyu smiled widely with excitement as he realised that he won't have to wait to start the challenge. He felt happy that he had a chance to make Yeonjun fall for him right from tomorrow.
He wanted to ask him one more thing.
"Just one last question... How will I definitely know when you're starting to fall for me?"
"You'll know on the 30th day, if your mission was successful or not." Yeonjun replied calmly.
Beomgyu got a little scared when he heard that his mission would be judged on the 30th day.
He thought to himself, "But what if I fail... I hope I don't mess up the challenge... This chance means a lot to me."
"And what do I get if I succeed?" He asked the last question.
"Then you win me, what else?" Yeonjun answered, as if it was a matter of fact.
"You'll gain my love, and if you win, you can kiss me on the 30th day." He added.
Hearing about a kiss, Beomgyu got slightly flustered.
"God, why am I getting flustered like a teenage girl? I'm an adult the heck?" Beomgyu groaned internally, he was too down bad for this man, it's concerning.
"Alright!! I accept the challenge!!" Beomgyu replied with a confident smile.
He was definitely going to win Yeonjun's love. He already found a way to move the "X" from its place, now he just needs an "=" and he will find the value of X, the Value of Yeonjun's heart.
"Watch me Choi Yeonjun. I'll make you fall for me."
"Keep trying Choi Beomgyu, you will lose 100% as the probability of my heart beating for you is none."

Hello Luvs!! The second chapter of "30 days of Love and Math" is here! And the challenge is on!! Ahhh I love Puppy sunshine Gyu so much, because I feel like Beomgyu would be a very soft typa person when he's not his extra-loud self. Well he is tho, the members have said this many times that how caring Gyu actually is, and how he's the most Romantic one. If you see his solo Log, he said he likes being alone in peace, like that Camping video. Ugh I love this man, anyways enough with my Beomgyu rant lmao.
Hope y'all liked this chapter! See you in the next onw my Luvs! Take care, Byeee<33
