Rache 4

You stood up the whole night, thinking about that little moment with Holmes. Sure, you weren't one to stay and obsessively think about a thing, but the thought never left your mind.

You rolled on the other side of the bed, groaning.

Was he even thinking about you like you were thinking of him?

Sure, the thought seemed childish, but was he, really?

Finally, your eyelids closed and you drifted into a deep sleep.

The next morning, you woke up pretty late, and headed in the living room, where Holmes, John, Lestrade and Barton were sitting on the couch, talking.

''Good morning boys'' you smiled and sat down next to John.

When no one was looking, John slipped a revolver in your pocket, whispering ''Trust me, you'll need this'' he said and you nodded.

''So, tell me Mr Holmes, what is your opinion about the case?'' Barton asked.

''Oh, you really want to know?'' Holmes asked, with a fake smile.

''Yes''

''Alright, but stop me if I'm wrong, okay?''

''Yes''

''The victim, Adam Porter, was your school friend. He had overtaken your position at Scotland Yard, just because he was better than you. Humiliated and angry, you were forced to move at a local police station. Everyone made fun of you, mocked you. When you had enough, you decided to take your revenge on Mr Porter. Being familiarized in that domain, you decided to poison him with Atroppa Belladonna, or in popular terms, Nightshade. You bought a wine bottle, poured the poison inside and went to the victim's house. There were two glasses on the table. One was full, and one was empty, obviously Mr Porter drank from it. Now, the fact that you written on the wall with blood confused me a little. There was no blood on the corpse, so it had to be yours. That's why your hand was bandaged yesterday. Also, the scratches that miss Y/N discovered on the wall were from your untrimmed nails. The footsteps were yours, since you are quite... chubby. The ring wasn't that much of a challenge. It was your mother's wedding ring, Gretchen Stewart. Such a shame you had to mix her into your murder. You called the police and acted innocent. So, am I right?'' Holmes asked, smiling.

Barton's face was white as a wall, and sprung to his feet, running towards the door, but it was locked. All the men raised and tried to catch him, but somehow he slipped away from their grip. He ran to the window and tried to open it, but you were quick to take your revolver and shoot him in the leg.

He fell back on the floor, cursing and whimpering in pain.

All the men stare at you in shock, to which you shrug.

''You were taking forever'' you reasoned and Holmes smirked at you.

''Ugh, you little-'' Barton began, but Holmes punched him so hard that his nose started bleeding.

''Nah, ah ah! Don't cuss in front of a lady'' Holmes said after he punched Barton.

''Barton Stewart, you are under arrest'' Lestrade said and handcuffed him.

''Thank you miss Y/N'' Lestrade said and dragged Barton after him, outside.

After John left, Holmes turned to you.

''That was impressive'' he said, taking a few steps closer to you.

''You haven't seen anything yet'' you smirked, taking a step closer as well.

''But I have to admit, you were pretty amazing as well'' you finished, running your hand up his strong arm and entangling it into his hair.

''Mhhmm, you haven't seen anything yet'' he repeated what you said, placing a hand on the small of your back, and the other on your hip.

''Oh, I wonder what else you're amazing at'' you smirkedย

''You'll have to wait and see'' he whispered, leaning closer to you.

You leaned closer as well, but in that moment, the door opened, revealing Nanny.

''Oh dear... What were you two doing?'' she asked upon seeing the scene.

Feeling as embarrassed as ever, you broke the 'hug'(?) with Holmes and blushed like a tomato with sunburn.

''Nothing happened, nanny'' you blurted out and ran to your room, shutting the door after you.

Oh, god... who knows what Nanny thought about that?
