Away from the darkness
"LADY, ARE YOU SURE THIS IS WHERE I'LL BE DROPPING YOU?" The cab driver asks, looking at the pixie in the rear-view mirror.
Alice Cullen, looks at the window before her, is an old, ruined ruin of St. Dymphna Mental Hospital.
Looking at the driver, she nods and exits the cab with her luggage, covered in a black long-sleeve top, occasional jeans, and a scarf wrapped around her head. She turns around and closes the door, handing the cab driver the $20 fee.
"Look, lady, clearly, after this, you'll need a ride home. Here's my number-" The driver says as they quickly write their number on a ripped page of their notebook and give it to Alice through the window, "-Call me, and I can drive you to where you're staying."
Alice smiled at the driver gratefully. She nodded and said a quick 'thank you' to the driver, hesitant to leave her alone in an abandoned location.
Nonetheless, they gave her their number. She'll call, so they drove away, leaving Alice on the side of the road.
Walking towards the not-so-closed entrance of the hospital, she looks around, seeing that the place has been completely abandoned for an extended amount of time.
Walking around the old fountain, she sees a shadow of a figure at the front entrance of the asylum. She halts and prepares herself, with the figure moving away from the shadows.
Alice sees the woman very clearly, and she can say in her mind that she is exquisite. With her 5'8 height, slim figure, slightly curled brown hair and bangs, and pinkish lips, all in all, she is exquisite.
Cordelia chuckles and shakes her head, crossing her arms in her chest, and says, "It's about damn time, Mary Alice."

"CORDELIA, CORDELIA ANNA WOODHOUSE," She says as she approaches the pixie woman who is still standing on her spot, not moving even a bit. She chuckles and says, "Why are you looking at me like that?
Alice blinks and shakes her head, and says, "I-I've been looking for you for years, and now you're here."
Cordelia smiles at her fondly and says, "I'm flattered, but I made sure you haven't seen any visions of me," she approaches her and tilts her head, and asks, "Well? I thought you were going to bombard me with questions."
Alice then walks towards her and nods, "I am. I'm just shocked, is all," as she brings down her scarf and walking towards the asylum entrance.
Cordelia follows her from behind and says, "Shocked," with a hum escaping her thin yet rather pink lips.
Alice turns around and nods, then look around the building. As she continued to walk, and said, "You're the woman who's in my first vision when I woke up."
Cordelia then looks at her and says, "I am, and I made sure you very well received that vision of yours."
Alice then turns around to face her, gives her a confused look, and asks, "How did you do that?"
Cordelia answers, "Well, you are the one who explained to me how your ability works. That means I know how it works."
Alice looks at her, shocked, and recalls what James has said. Two old vampires changed her. Of course, Cordelia knew her when she was human.
Alice is suddenly in front of her with pleading eyes and says with desperation, lacing her tone, "Please, tell me what happened to me in my human life. I don't want to be in the dark anymore."
"You won't be in the dark, not anymore."
