"..leaving! We're leaving," Hiccup announces as him and (Y/N) enter the clearing, both rushing around and looking for their dragons. "Yep, come on, (D/N)!" (Y/N) calls, setting down her bag as she looks through her supplies.

"Let's pack up!" Hiccup looks around, setting down his basket. "Looks like the four of us are taking a little vacation...forever." He sets his basket down and rummages through it as
(Y/N) sighs softly, looking through her own bag.

"Oh, man." Hiccup sighs to himself, rising.
He yells and stumbles back, (Y/N) spinning around, her eye twitching at the sight of Astrid sharpening her axe with a rock.

"What the..?!" Hiccup stammers, frantically rushing to (Y/N)'s side. The (H/C) girl sighs in annoyance, shaking her head before looking up at her friend. "What are you doing?" She mumbles, Astrid looking to her with a deep frown.

Of course they sorted things out, both Astrid and (Y/N) knew that, but that didn't mean the Hofferson needed to be nice to the Chief's son, (Y/N) still hadn't told her where the two ran off to everyday.

"I want to know what's going on between you two.." the blonde replies, tossing her rock as she hops off the rock. Hiccup blushes, shaking his head and turning away. "Uh..b-between us..as in.." He trails off, (Y/N) chuckling at his nervousness.

"No one just gets as good as you did,"
Astrid replies, glaring at Hiccup. "I mean sure, (Y/N)'s always just had a natural talent for this kind of stuff."

Both teens eyes widen at her backhanded complement, but decide to not say anything as Astrid held her axe up, continuing to move closer to the two.

"T-that's a little harsh-!"

"Start talking!" She interrupts (Y/N), glaring lightly. "Are you training with someone?"

"I-I-I, uh, training? I-I don't-"

"It better not involve this," Astrid growls, yanking on Hiccup's flight clothes. "Listen, Astrid, you just..we can't..I don't.." the boy trails off, nervously looking at the girl.

"I know this looks really bad, but you see..." their eyes widen as a large crack was heard, birds flying off as Astrid roughly shoves
Hiccup from her path.

He falls to ground with a grunt and a yelp, making (Y/N) lightly gasp as she kneels to help him, huffing as Astrid walks over him. The Hofferson makes her way towards the frustrated girl, grabbing her hand and bringing it to her chest.

"Please just tell me.." she mumbles, (Y/N) sighing and looking down, shaking her head slightly, which frustrated Astrid even more. "It's okay," Hiccup speaks up, quickly rising and rushing in front of Astrid as she looks around. "W-we are through with the lies."

(Y/N) looks to him with wide eyes, tilting her head as she watches her friend. "We've been making..outfits!" He suddenly says, making
(Y/N) nod in agreement as she rushes in front of Astrid.

The blonde ignores her, as her eyes narrow and she looks around the clearing. "You totally got us! I'm sorry for lying, but making outfits is..so much fun!" The (L/N) nervously grins, blocking her view.

"It's time everyone knew," Hiccup solemnly sighs, grabbing Astrid's hand and setting it on his chest. "Drag us back, here we go." He blocks her view as her eye twitches in annoyance.

She grabs his hand and twists it, making (Y/N) wince as a loud cracking could be heard as he collapsed.

Astrid drops her axe besides her as she rolls her shoulders. "Ow! Why would you do that?!" Hiccup groans in pain, trying to stand. She drops her axe, the handle landing harshly on the poor boys stomach.

"That's..for the lies!" She then turns to (Y/N), making quick strides and grabbing the girl by her collar.

"H-hang on!" The (E/C) girl quickly calls, glaring back at her friend as she grabs the hand that gripped her shirt, their faces inches away from eachother. Astrid raises her fist, her eyes softening before clearing of any emotion.

"And this..is for everything else!"

A loud roar makes them all go stiff, (Y/N) and Hiccup's hearts sinking as they look back and see (D/N) appearing with a dangerous look on his face. Toothless jumps off a rock next to him, nudging him in question, but (D/N)'s glare never left Astrid.

Toothless sniffs the air, his ears perking up as he looks over and spots Astrid. He growls loudly, his eyes turning to slits. "Oh, man." Hiccup groans, recognizing Toothless' growl. "Get down!" Astrid gasps, throwing (Y/N)  behind her.

She falls next to Hiccup with a grunt, grabbing her hand with a wince as it scraped on the ground. Hiccup gasps, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and tugging her into his side.

Both the Woolly Howl and Night Fury take notice of the girl's injury, both roaring in anger as they charge towards the frightened Astrid.

"Run, run!" Astrid yells, swiftly grabbing her axe and swinging it back. (Y/N) looks up with wide eyes, scrambling to her feet and tackling Astrid as (D/N) pounces at her. "No! No!" Hiccup yells, blocking Toothless and (D/N) from them as (Y/N) tosses Astrid's axe away.

"It's okay!" (Y/N)'s tries, making (D/N) peek over Hiccup as he pants heavily, his wings opened and his fur pulled back. "She's our friend.." she brings a hand up, setting it gently on her dragon's snout as she shushes him quietly.

He snorts, rumbling at Toothless. The Night Fury lowers from his defensive position, his wings still slightly opened. Astrid gasps as she rises, backing away as (D/N) nudges (Y/N)'s arm with a soft purr.

Toothless continues to lowly growl at Astrid, making Hiccup gently push back on him.
"You just scared them," Hiccup tries explaining as she looks between the two with wide eyes.
"I scared them?!" Astrid pauses, blinking rapidly as she looks at (D/N).

"Who..is them?"

"This...this is (D/N)," (Y/N) introduces with a soft smile, looking down at her friend while her dragon snarls, his eyes glaring daggers. "Astrid, Toothless and (D/N)," Hiccup speaks up, gesturing towards the dragons with a nervous chuckle.

"Toothless and (D/N)...Astrid."

(D/N)'s eyes become slits as he hisses,
Toothless growling along with him. Astrid shakes her head, glancing at (Y/N) before turning and running away. "Oh.." the (H/C) girl groans, rubbing her head with her hands.

"Du-du-duh, we're dead."

(D/N) snorts, laying down and curling into a ball while Toothless waddles away.
"Hey! (D/N), get up!" (Y/N) frantically yells, trying to force her dragon up as he pretends to sleep.

"Woah, woah, woah! Where do you think you're going?" Hiccup demands, rushing after Toothless.

...

Astrid pants heavily as she races through the woods, her heart hammering madly in her chest.

Why..

She continues at a fast pace, her breathing uneven.

Why..?

Small tears leak from her eyes as she brings a hand up to harshly rub them away, sniffing uncontrollably.

Why (Y/N)?!

She looks back with wide eyes before facing forward, jumping on a log. She goes to leap off, only to be stopped by something grabbing her arm.

Astrid screams, looking down as the ground gets further and further. "Oh, great Odin's ghost! This is..." She screams, clinging onto
(D/N)'s claw wrapped around her arm.

Hiccup sighs, shaking his head as (Y/N) looks over at him with a bored face. Toothless glares at the screaming girl, his nose wrinkled in annoyance. (D/N) huffs, his face remaining bored as he drops her on the branch of a tree.

He lands on the very top, causing the tree to bend as Astrid dangles. Hiccup and Toothless land on the tree besides them, watching.
"(Y/N)! Get. Me. Down from here!" Astrid commands, struggling to hold onto the branch.

"You have to give us a chance to explain!"
(Y/N) demands, her tone firm with a hint of annoyance. Hiccup turned to her with surprise, he had never heard her talk to anyone like that. But once he took a glance towards (D/N) and then back to his friend, he could see annoyance leaking from both of them.

"They really look alike..don't they?"

"I am not listening to anything you guys have to say!" Astrid yells back, scooting on the branch. "Then..we won't speak," Hiccup sighs, holding his hands up in defense as Astrid glares over at him. "Just let us show you."

She looks away, glancing up at (Y /N) and at (D/N). "Please, Astrid," (Y/N) pleads, holding out her hand. Astrid grunts, sighing heavily as she starts pulling herself up. Her hand nearly slips from the branch, making her instinctively grab (Y/N's hand.

(D/N) growls in warning, causing Astrid to quickly let go with a light huff as she completely climbs onto the branch.

She hesitates as she grabs onto the saddle, balancing as she hoists herself onto (D/N).
(Y/N) exhales softly, her stomach twisted in knots.

"Now get me down," Astrid demands, looking at (D/N) with wide eyes. "(D/N).." (Y/N) starts, watching as his ear flickers. "Can you take us down? Gently?" He snorts, opening his wings.

The light catches the underside of his wing, causing the silver to shine in the girl's faces, making Astrid watch in awe and curiously look at his wings.

"See?" Hiccup calls with a grin as Toothless opens his own wings. "Nothing to be afraid of."
Toothless glances over at (D/N), making him look back with a small nod and narrowed eyes.
(D/N) takes off, making (Y/N) gasp and Astrid scream.

Hiccup watches with wide eyes before yelping as Toothless quickly follows after (D/N).
"(D/N)?!" (Y/N) yells as Astrid frantically holds onto her while screaming. "Stop!"

"What is wrong with you two?!" Hiccup shouts as Toothless joins their side, panting heavily.

"Bad dragons!"

"(D/N), we can play later," (I/N) harshly whispers, nervously looking back at Astrid as he grumbles. "Be nice!" She scolds, scoffing as the dragon rolls his eyes and continues to fly around.

Hiccup nervously laughs as he rubs his neck.
"They're..they're not usually like this!"
He tries to reason, halting as (D/N) suddenly begins to dive, knowing Toothless would follow. "Oh, no."

Astrid screams once more, watching the ocean get closer with wide eyes. (Y/N) tightly grips (D/N)'s saddle, gasping as they burst from the water and yelping as he starts to buck lightly.
"(D/N)! What's wrong with you!" She squeals as he continues to swerve and tilt. "We need her to like us!"

(D/N) shoots upwards, Hiccup grunting as
Toothless follows like a bullet. "And now we're spinning," he groans as Astrid yelps, the two dragons spinning around each other. "I'm going to be sick," (Y/N) grumbles, her vision going blurry.

"Thank you for nothing, you useless reptiles..."

(D/N) begins diving as he spins out of control, Toothless spinning around him as they dive together, their eyes closed in concentration. Astrid grips (Y/N)'s waist, her head buried into the girls back.

"Okay! I am sorry!" She finally yells, tightly hugging (Y/N) "I'm sorry.." (D/N)'s ear perks up as he looks back with a rumble. Toothless looks at (D/N) with a soft roar, making him nod. "Just..get me off of this thing and let's go home.."

(D/N) fully opens his wings just before they hit the water, Toothless doing the same as Hiccup grunts at the force. Astrid gasps, flinching and hiding her face. (Y/N) sighs softly in relief, rubbing her aching head before gasping softly at the sight of the setting sun.

Toothless softly snorts, taking the lead and leading (D/N) upwards as Hiccup smiles slightly, looking back at (Y/N). They fly into the clouds, making Astrid slowly open her eyes at the feeling.

She looks around as she holds onto (Y/N)'s hips, her mouth opened in awe. (D/N) smoothly flies up and around Toothless, flying by his side as he looks around with a soft chitter.

The clouds were a brilliant gold, small rays of sun peeking through and causing (D/N)'s wings to shimmer. Astrid looks up, looking back at (Y/N) before carefully reaching up and feeling the clouds.

(Y/N) lightly laughs, copying her. Both girls gasp at the feeling, small whisks of the cloud floating down and tickling their faces. Astrid snickers before bursting out into laughter, causing (Y/N) to lightly laugh as (D/N)'s ear perks up at the sound.

Hiccup sighs softly, watching (Y/N) with a goofy grin. Toothless rumbles, startling him out of his daze as he looks forward. The two dragons move in sync, slowly spinning around each other as they trace along the clouds.

They twirl before flying upright, emerging from the clouds and into the now night sky. Aurora lights brighten the night sky, moving along the stars as (Y/N) gasps softly with a smile.

She looks over at Hiccup, giggling when she catches him staring. He quickly looks away, slowly peeking back with a nervous grin as she smiles softly at him.

Astrid looks between the two before chuckling softly, shaking her head in amusement as she looks up at the night sky.

The two dragons fly together, soaring over the clouds and over Berk. Astrid looks down with a soft gasp, smiling widely at the sight of the village from above.

(D/N) looks back at her, purring softly before facing forward and playfully running into Toothless' side.

(Y/N) leans over the side to peek down at her home, Hiccup looking to her and bringing a hand up, ready to catch her if anything were to happen. Astrid watches him for a moment, the boy looking up as they both lock eyes.

They stare at eachother for a moment before Astrid finally smiles, nodding her head towards  (Y/N) subtly before smirking, turning her head and continuing to look at her village.

Hiccup sighs in relief, glad that he and the blonde finally found some common ground. He shakes his head, jerking back as he finds (Y/N) staring at him with a gentle smile.

He stammers before facing fierce, the tips of his ears a bright shade of pink.

Toothless rumbles a laugh as (D/N) snorts in amusement, proud of himself as he takes the lead and leads Toothless over the village to not be seen "All right," Astrid chuckles, making
(Y/N) look back as Hiccup looks over. "I admit it. This is pretty cool. It's... amazing."

She stops for a second, looking towards the peaceful Night Fury before looking down at
(D/N), carefully bending down with an arm stretched, the other gripping (Y/N)'s waist so she didn't fall off.

She reaches down, setting the palm of her hand flat against the Howl's neck, running her fingers through his fur, (D/N) purring at the sensation.

"..they're amazing.."
