The Revelation
"SPEAKING OF THEATRICS, HAVE YOU EVER READ ROMEO AND JULIET?" Liam asks and quickly scoffs as he realizes his question. "Of course you had. You're a literature professor."
Thalia just wishes that what she is thinking at the moment won't be happening anytime soon.
"Romeo thought that Juliet is dead, then he killed himself, then Juliet woke up and saw Romeo dead beside her, and she also killed herself," Liam tells her while making his fingers move, recreating every movement of what he is telling her
Then he walks towards an empty table and lifts it. He brings it to the middle of the cafe where he previously stood. He brings out a red dagger and a pistol.
Digging in his right pocket, he places five gold bullets on the table, lining it in rows carefully, one by one.
Thalia's heartbeat quickens as looks directly at the gold bullets.
Gold can kill banshees.
She frantically looks at Liam in distress. She tries to utter a word, to ask what he is planning, but they both know exactly what he is planning to do.
"You don't have to do this," Thalia begs while looking behind her. She sees Carlisle in despair and desperation.
He doesn't know what to do. There are no entrances, no routes, no passageway, none.
"I can and I will," Liam says as he loads the gun, whistling casually while shaking his head and following his tune.
"Why? Why are you doing this?" Thalia asks desperately as she looks around. Still, the people in the cafe didn't seem to the mind the scene unfolding before them.
"Why?! Why Am I-" Liam yells and stops his sentence as he calms himself and smiles gently at Thalia, and strides towards her, taking a chair with him and sitting in front of her. "Let me tell you a very, very short story."

A 19-YEAR-OLD WOMAN is waiting at the bus stop. The rain is pouring heavily, and she clutches her bag to her chest.
She looks around and sees a man approaching her. She frowns and looks away, releasing an irritated sigh.
"Hi, Lilith," A 19-year-old ageless Liam greets the brunette beauty with a shy smile on his face and chuckles awkwardly.
Liam has been disturbing Lilith since freshman year. Even when she and Karl have been together for a year now, Liam still doesn't know how to stop and respect her boundaries and personal space.
"Hello, Liam." Lilith quickly smiles and looks away from him, trying to give him the sign that she doesn't want to talk, that she is uncomfortable around him. However, the man is always ignorant and doesn't take no for an answer.
"So, I was wondering if that date that I asked yesterday is still up for discussion?" Liam asks carelessly as he sits beside her, and Lilith shifts uncomfortably on the bench.
She looks at Liam and shakes her head with a sigh. She disagrees and says, "I told you this already, Liam. I said no."
Liam furrows his eyebrows and looks at her, confused and angry by the fact that she keeps refusing him. "Why!? Why do you have to shut me down every time!? I know you and Karl are together, but I will treat you better than him, Lilith!" He says furiously while grabbing a hold of her right hand.
Lilith removes his hand and stands up from her seat, and says, "Don't touch me."
Lilith then continues as she looks at him irritably and says with her voice getting loud with every word, "You know why I don't want to go out with you? Because I am in a committed relationship, Karl respects my boundaries and doesn't force me to do anything that I don't want to, he treats me as his equal, unlike you, who follows me everywhere I go, and you need to know what the word 'no' is."
Liam chuckles quietly and looks around. Seeing that the other students are looking at them and observing the scene before them, he receives a look of disgust and repulse.
A man with glasses walks towards them and places a hand on Lilith's shoulder, and says, "Sorry I'm late, they called in a council meeting," Then he looks at his side and sees Liam. "What are you doing here?" As he places Lilith protectively behind him, "I told you to back off, man."
Liam raises both hands in surrender and admits, "Hey, I'm just talking to her."
Karl rolls his eyes and looks at the school guard walking towards them. He nods and says, "You've been stalking Lilith since we were freshman, Liam."
The guard places a hand on Liam's arms securely as Lilith says, "Leave it. I want to go home now, please," She pleadingly looks at Karl, and the man hesitantly nods and takes her bag, and opens an umbrella as they walk away from Liam.
"I'll get you both someday," Liam mutters under her breath and looks at his surroundings. Embarrassed, he looks down as the guard guides him toward the Principal's office.

"YOU!! YOU CAUSED THE CAR CRASH!" Thalia yells as she sobs. Her knees feel weak as she falls to the ground, her sobs echoing in the cafe.
"Yes! Me! I'm the reason for the car crash. It serves them right for embarrassing me in front of all those people and for getting me out of the University," Liam laughs loudly as he looks at Thalia with a smile on his face showing his teeth.
"Is that what you want? Revenge? Because my mom said no to you? So you got into a relationship with her daughter and abused her on a daily basis? And you killed them, and now you want to kill me?" Thalia asks with a hiccup to every word as she sobs. The man in front of her is a sadistic, heartless psychopath.
"The assumption is really on point, Thalia, but let me just tell you something, I loved and admired your mother from afar. I was supposed to be with her until your father ruined my plans," Liam says with a chuckle and continues, "However, I've loved you more than her."
"Is that supposed to make me feel better?"
"Yes and no. I know what you're thinking. Why doesn't Grammy Celia know about me? Well, Lilith didn't tell her because I was just a minor inconvenience, yeah, right," Liam scoffs while rolling his eyes, wielding the pistol with a look of satisfaction on his features.
"We don't have to do this, Thalia, just take me back, and I'll take you back, and we'll be together and have our happily ever after."
Thalia looks at him with wide eyes, then she takes a deep breath and exhales. She looks behind her and sees Carlisle sitting on the floor behind the glass door of the cafe.
Seeing and hearing every detail, she smiles at him and mouth an 'I'm sorry' as Carlisle shakes his head in disagreement.
She carefully stands up and smoothens her skirt. With a gentle smile on her face, she walks towards him, and places a palm on his cheek, places a peck on his forehead, and hugs him tightly, "Of course, Liam. I'll take you back. I love you too."
Liam's features soften as he hugs her back. Thinking quickly, she takes the red dagger on his jean's back pocket and stabs him in the back where the heart is.
Liam gasps in shock and pain as the barrier in the cafe breaks. However, not enough to break the compulsion set on the people in the cafe.
Carlisle has already called the rest of his family, and with a brief explanation, the rest of the Cullens rushes towards them.
However, Liam has other plans. With the loaded gun in his front pocket, he shoots Thalia right in the heart.
And that is when Celia Cohen felt her granddaughter's death.
