ONE OF THE THINGS KOL MIKAELSON admired about Genesis Ackerman is that the woman always has a plan—no, she did not journey on a barque ensured by the Queen of England herself from France to New Orleans, Louisiana without thinking about a plan. Genesis Ackerman spent days—15 days to be exact – on a boat coming up with a plan on how to undagger Kol Mikaelson.

She already has 10 plans in mind. The first plan consists of seven steps.

Step one. Know the routine of the Mikaelsons. Of course, before she acts, she needs to know their day-to-day routine so she can easily adjust to their environment, where they usually dine and dash, their favorite pastime, and whatnot—maybe they like the theater, or walking around the garden, it'll be too easy for her, she needs a challenge.

Step two. Get to know the Mikaelsons. As they all say, know thy enemy. In order to be in the good graces of the Mikaelson family. Genesis needs to know their hobbies, what they do and do not like, and what type of blood they favor. Basically, she stalks them and molds herself as the person they would want on their side.

Step three. Make herself known to the Mikaelsons. A ball, of course, is a perfect, most appropriate scenario for such a welcoming introduction. Not a simple introduction, one would think, but an introduction that would make Genesis Ackerman unforgettable. A simple glance, a dance or two, but never tell who she really is—-because the less they know, the more tempting she is to find.

Step four. Suddenly disappear. A taste is what they had—a fleeting glance and a warm touch, and she knows they'll keep wanting more. They'll look for her, of course, they would; who wouldn't wouldn't scout the entire city for a beauty that is Genesis Ackerman?

Step five. A not-so-accidental second introduction. She'll make herself known again. She'll create a scenario where the chosen Mikaelson sibling suddenly bumps into her, or perhaps after disappearing for a month, she's suddenly standing so conveniently in their favorite place—and she'll play hard to get, which she is.

Step six. Make the chosen Mikaelson sibling fall madly in love with her. Love makes a person irrational things—spontaneous things. Love can blind a person so much that they won't even notice that they are being used. And it's precisely what Genesis Ackerman needed.

Step seven. Know Kol Mikaelson's location, undagger him, and leave New Orleans.

A reasonably easy plan if she says so herself, the most straightforward plan amongst her ten other plans with other ten steps.

Genesis is not ignorant; she knows that even though her plan is perfect—which it is, she still knows that plenty of things could possibly go wrong. She needs to go through all of those possibilities.

Possibility number 1: She gets caught.

Possibility number 2: She gets killed when the Mikaelsons know there's another vampire in their beloved territory.

Possibility number 3: She gets compelled to spill all of her intentions—she decides to drink vervain and just pretends she's under compulsion.

Possibility number 4: After getting to know the Mikaelsons and their deepest, darkest secrets, she might get a guilty conscience—never going to happen, but she needs to consider it.

Possibility number 5: Kol's body is stashed somewhere barricaded with magic.

Possibility number 6: Attachment towards the Mikaelsons. There is a 50% chance that after stalking, knowing, and possibly having a civil conversation with a Mikaelson, she'll gain a questionable attachment towards them, and she needs to avoid that. Eye on the goal.

Possibility number 7: Mikael, need she say more?

Possibility number 8: Klaus Mikaelson will make her leave the city—because he's territorial. Genesis doesn't know; his werewolf side is dormant, but the men are territorial. Maybe having another vampire in his city isn't what he wants.

Possibility number 9: The Queen of England summons her to go to Buckingham Palace. When the Queen needs her guidance, Genesis does not refuse; she'll have no choice but to return to London, England.

Possibility number 10: Unexpectedly fall in love with the chosen Mikaelson sibling.

Genesis chuckled at the thought. Love. It isn't really her forte. Call her a skeptic or a cynic about love; she doesn't believe in it.

Love has only done her no good.

It's only full of pain, suffering, and anguish. And she has no time for it, no time to dwell on the ugly aftermath of love; she is a busy woman.

Possibility number 10 is the least of her concerns.

And Genesis knows it for a fact.

Because love is never an option for her anyway.
