- One of the only Wonderland kids to not be born in Wonderland but rather arrive there at three years old.

- The March Hare, Thackery Earwycket the First, adopted him when the boy appeared in Wonderland.

-  When Wyc showed that he preferred guys clothes rather than girls, The March Hare accepted him immediately. Saying that he always wanted a son, so he decided to name him after himself.

- Wyc is proud to carry his father's name, even when he decides to shorten it a little because honestly, it's a mouthful, but he loves it nonetheless.

Those of you who are part of the trans community or know those that are, understand that this character was always going to be trans.

I watched Shameless and saw the season that Elliot Fletcher was in about a year ago. I also just finished watching The Fosters, in which he also appeared in and was really impressed by his acting and characters on both shows that I decided to make him the face claim.

I understand that some people in the trans community have different opinions about him and they are entitled it but please respect my decision in having him be my face claim, this is a book, it's not like he's really acting from this. If you don't approve of him, please, you're welcome to picturing whomever you want to be Wyc in your own imagination. I know everyone does it with at least two or more fanfictions or even stories where they don't like the face claim or think the cast isn't as diverse.

Point is, please respect my decision, I chose him for his acting purposes (and he ain't too bad on the eyes either) and honestly after spending so much time picturing him as Wyc, I can't imagine anyone else, but you're welcome to it. I'm not looking to start any fights with anyone.
