"What do the different coloured strings mean?" I ask curiously from my place on Stiles' bed, watching him pin wool to his crime board.
"Oh, just different stages of the investigation. Green is solved, yellow is to be determined, blue's just pretty" Stiles answers.
"What does red mean?" I question, looking at all the red string on the board.
"Unsolved" He sighs.
"You only have red on the board" I point out.
"Yes, I'm aware. Thank you" He sasses me.
"Did you get detention for pulling the alarm?" I query, wrapping the red string around my pointer finger.
"Yep. Every day this week. It's okay though. We were onto something" He tells me.
"Mmhm" I hum, nodding absentmindedly.
I feel eyes on me but I continue wrapping the red string around my finger.
"What's on your mind?" Stiles asks and I shrug.
Stiles walks over to me, crouching down beside his bed and lifts my chin up so I'm looking at him.
"Talk to me" He pleads.
"It's just, Lydia hasn't been wrong before and I had a bad feeling" I answer.
"A bad feeling?" He questions.
"Usually when something bad is about to happen, I get this feeling in my gut that's just wrong. Mother nature tries to warn me to be careful" I explain and he raises a brow.
"And you got that feeling today?" He asks and I nod.
"It's never been wrong before either, Stiles" I tell him.
"If it's never been wrong before, then don't doubt yourself. I believe you. I know he was there" Stiles assures me, gently unravelling the red string from around my finger "And look, if you wanted to, I'd go back to that school right now and search all night just to prove it"
I smile at him gratefully and he tucks my hair behind my ear, smiling back at me warmly.
"Stiles?" I whisper.
"Natalia" He responds sassily.
"Can I kiss you?" I blurt out and his eyes widen.
He pauses for a second before gulping and nodding softly. I slowly lean forward and as our noses brush against each other, his eyes flutter closed.
Our lips meet for a sweet and gentle kiss, something I'm not used to but the minute our lips part I crave another one. I kiss him again and he drops the pen in his hand, reaching forward to tangle his fingers in my hair.
Breaking the kiss, I sit up on my knees and pull him onto the bed. His head hits the pillow and I throw my leg over his body to straddle his waist, grinning down at him. He grabs the front of my shirt and pulls me down into another kiss, this one heavier than the others.
We break apart for air and I reattach my lips to Stiles' jaw, leaving hot open mouthed kisses all the way down to his neck. His hands run up my back, holding me closely and his eyes close in pleasure.
I find his sweet spot and lightly nip at the skin with my teeth, making him whimper. He writhes underneath me, his body practically begging for contact and my whole body heats up at the sight.
My hand teasingly toys with the waistband of his jeans and he looks up at me, his brown eyes shining with lust. Testing the waters, I gently rock my hips against his and he throws his head back.
"Fuck, Nat" He moans.
My phone ringing abruptly makes the both of us jump and I climb off the bed, grabbing my phone from Stiles' desk.
"Hello?" I answer, gulping as I feel Stiles' gaze on me.
"Get your ass up and go get Stiles. You're gonna meet me at the school" Lydia orders.
"Right now?" I ask.
"Right now" She confirms, hanging up.
I slip my phone into my bag and take a deep breath before turning to see Stiles sitting on the edge of his bed, looking at me.
"Who was it?" He asks curiously.
"Lydia. She wants us to meet her at the school" I reply.
"C-Can I ask you something?" He stutters, making me smile warmly.
"Sure" I nod.
"What was that?" He asks, glancing at the spot on his bed that we were just moments ago.
"I don't know" I answer truthfully "I just wanted to kiss you"
"Oh, cool cool cool" He says, looking down at his feet.
"But I liked it" I add quietly and his head snaps up to look at me.
"You did?" He asks almost hopefully.
"It was different" I elaborate and he smiles a small smile.
I sling my backpack over my shoulder and grab Stiles' arms, tugging him off his bed.
"Let's go" I chirp.

"So what are we looking for?" I ask as we enter the physics classroom.
Stiles opens the chemical storage room and I raise a brow in surprise.
"That was supposed to be locked" Lydia points out.
"Yeah. I know. Notice anything else?" Stiles replies.
"It smells like chemicals" I state in disgust.
"They wouldn't have been able to catch his scent" Lydia realises.
Stiles shines his phone torch onto the ground and my eyes widen when I see the bloody staples on the ground.
"He was here, performing very minor surgery on himself. You were both right" Stiles declares.
"Then why don't I feel good about this?" I mumble with a frown.
"Probably because he was here to kill somebody" Stiles answers.
"But who?" Lydia asks.
"That's what we gotta figure out" Stiles states.
We exit the storage closet and he turns to us.
"We could spread out, start looking for...anything" He tells us.
Lydia starts walking towards the chalkboard and I follow behind her.
"Lydia, what are those?" Stiles asks, referring to the numbers written in chalk.
"Atomic numbers" The strawberry blonde answers.
Stiles walks up beside me and I cross my arms over my chest, looking at the numbers with a confused frown.
"Is it a formula?" I ask.
"Not really. 19's potassium. 53's iodine. 88's radium" Lydia explains " The first two make potassium iodide"
She writes a 'K' next to the number 19 in chalk.
"Potassium is K?" Stiles asks.
"From Kalium, the scientific neo-Latin name" Lydia answers before writing an 'I' next to 53.
"What's radium?" I question and she answers by writing 'Ra' next to 88.
"R-A" Lydia speaks.
"Kira" Stiles reads.
