"are you sure you don't have any intial on him, Natasha?" y/n nervously asked as she fidgeted with a lose string in her sweater as she looks at Natasha's hologram looking at her with pitied eyes.

"i'm sorry y/n but we haven't heard anything on Thor yet since he went on mission." Nat said as she gave y/n a small smile knowing that she's going through a lot at the moment.

tears started to collect in y/n eyes as she let her head hang lowly as she bit her lip trying to hold in the sob that wanted to escape her lips.

"hey listen ㅡ i know him not being here right now with you ㅡ especially when you just found out something is stressing you out. but it isn't good for you y/n," Natasha said as she tried to calm y/n down, knowing she's about to have a mental breakdown.

y/n suddenly raises her head up and looks at Natsha with tears falling down her face as she tries to keep her composure intact. "it's so hard Nat. I ㅡ I just want him home." she said as she ran her hands through her hair.

"I know y/n, just ㅡ just hang in there okay? I'm sure he'll be home before you know it." Natasha said as she tried her best to encourage y/n. "just please don't stress too much ㅡ things will be better." and with that she hung up the call.

that call was three months ago.

it's currently Christmas Eve amd y/n sits on the couch as she watches a re-run of a Christmas movie.

in all honesty, she wasn't truly paying attention to the movie as she kept spacing out and trying to keep her composure up.

a sigh escapes her lips as she slowly got up from the couch and ready to make her way to her bedroom, when there was a knock on the door.

she quickly made her way to the door thinking it was Thor, only to frown slightly when she sees every but Thor at the door.

"what are you all doing here?" she asks softly as she looks st all of them who each hold their own cheerful smile.

"to be with you for Christmas of course!" tony said as he walked into her apartment as everyone followed behind him amd made themselves comfortable.

"but I was okay by myㅡ"

"don't come saying you're okay by yourself in Christmas y/n ㅡ we all know you're struggling right now without Thor with you." Natasha said sternly as she looked at y/n with a serious look.

a sigh escapes y/n's lips as she knows she has no other choice. relecantly, y/n closes her apartment's door and makes her way to her couch and sits with them.

everyone was having a good time as they shared laughs together and told each others stories that not many of them knew about.

that was until the dreadful part y/n was hoping no one would mention was brought up.

"when's Thor coming back y/n?" steve asked as he frowned slightly as he looked at y/n with concern.

the smile on y/n's face falls instantly as she looks down to her lap as she runs her fingers along the rim of her cup of water. "i ㅡ i actually don't know when he'll be h-home." y/n said as she felt years build up in her eyes along with her nose starting to sting.

"owㅡ!" steve cried out as he rubbed the back of his head as he looked at Tony with wide eyes. "what was that for I was just asking a question," he said trying to defend himself.

"you big buffed american idoit ㅡ can't you see she's sensitive about the damn topic even more with what she found out three months ago!" tony said as he looked at steve with a narrowed look.

"oh ㅡ y/n i'm sorry i wasn't think straight iㅡ"

"no, no it's ㅡ it's okay," y/n said as she looked up at Steve as tears fell down her face as she put on a small smile to try and lessen the tension. "besides you're just curious. and i don't know where Thor is," she said as she sniffed and wipped away her tears from her face.

Natasha placed her hands into y/n's hand in her way to let her know that she is there for her.

"but shouldn't he be back now? cause you know Christmas is tomorrow and like we wouldn't want you to spend it by yourㅡ ow!" peter said as he too rubbed the back of his head as he recieved a slap this time from Sam.

"kid ㅡ just stop talking," sam said as he looked at Peter with a straight look that made Peter turn red and put his hood one before he pulls the strings and closes the hoodie around his face.

this earns a laugh from y/n as she looks at Peter with a wider smile.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Odionson iㅡ i was just word barfing," peter said as his voice came out muffled die to his hoodie being over his lips.

"it's okay petey," she says as she tried to stifle a yawn from leaving her lips btlut failed to do so as she covered her mouth as a yawn took over her.

"well that's our cue to head out," tony said as he and everyone else got up to head back to the compound.

"no ㅡ no it's okay you guys can stay," y/n said tiredly as she got up from her spot on the couch trying to have everyone stay.

"y/n we need to get going ㅡ you need all the rest you can get," Natasha said as she placed a hand on y/n's shoulder.

"alright ㅡ I'll see you guys tomorrow then," y/n said as she gave a hig to everyone as they each headed out her door.

once everyone was out the door, she closed and locked the door before making her way to the bedroom, ready to rest after her eventful nights with her friends.

until there was a knock at her door.

sighing softly, y/n walks to the door thinking Tony or Peter left something behind.

but the person waiting at the other end of the door took her by suprise as tears started to fall from her eyes as she covers her mouth with her hands in suprise.

at the door stands a smiling Thor as he looks down at his queen.

"my queen," Thor said as he wrapped his arms around y/n tightly as she started to cry in his arms at the relief of him finally being home.

"you're home ㅡ you're finally home," y/n sobbed out as she held on tighter to Thor hoping she wasn't dreaming and make all of this up.

"my love why are you crying?" thor asked her as he made her look up at him.

"I thought ㅡ I thought something happened to you, and you're finally home to us," she said as she barried her head into his chest.

"us?" thor asked as he was confused as to what she meant.

y/n pulled away from Thor and looked at him with a growing smile. she then took Thor's hand and brought it to her stomach.

at first Thor was confused as to why she brought his hand to her stomach, until she moved his hand slightly up and down in order for him to feel her growing baby bump.

thor looked at y/n with wide eyes as he looked between her and their hands on her stomach.

thor then got on his knees and started to place kisses along her stomach as he started to cry in joy.

"i thought we couldn't have babies?" thor said as he looked up at y/n with frowned eyebrows.

"I thought so too but I went to the doctors to make sure that I was pregnant and he says it's a Christmas miracle for me to have a baby," y/n said as she wiped away his tears before he rested his head on top of her stomach.

"you are a miracle baby, little one. you are going to be a loved and protected by your mother and I, including those that love you already." thor said softly as he talked to y/n stomach.

this caused y/n to laugh softly as she felt tears fall down her face in joy.

thor then got one his feet and looked down at y/n with a wide smile. he suddenly looked up at the ceiling and his smile grew wider before he looked down at y/n.

following his action, y/n looks to the ceiling to see a mistletoe hanging over them. a smile spreads on her face as she wraps her arms around his neck and pulls herself up on her tippy toes in order to kiss Thor passionately on his lips.

this kiss was different from the others they shared before. this kiss held so much passion and magic within it that y/n couldn't help but smile slightly as Thor pulled her into his form more. the kiss held so much promises into it even of they didn't speak out loud about them.

they then pulled away from the kiss and held each other in an embrace. he then picked y/n up from the floor as she let out a small squeal from the sudden lift.

thor made his way to their shared bedroom and he then gently placed her on the bed as he soon joined her side.

instantly y/n moved closer towards him and wrapped herself in her blankets and draped her arms around him.

gently thor placed his hand around her waist as he moved her closer to his body. missing the warmth that radiated from her he kissed the top of her head as he snuggled closer to her.

"I missed you so much my queen," thor said as he closed his eyes feeling the sleep starting to take over him.

"I missed you too Thor," y/n said softly as she rubbed circles on Thor chest.

"I love you and our Christmas suprise," thor said as he tightened his grip on her waist a little more.

"we love you too my king," y/n said as she placed a kiss on his cheek before they both drifted off to a blissful sleep.
