"how can you "tame" sirius from his playboy tendencies when he's ㅡ well he's sirius?" lily says as she looks at you with a confused look on her face as you both sit across from one another in the library.

"well lily, if you remembered when we were in potions class earlier we made Amortentia, sirius said he smelled roses, fresh rain, and the woods?" y/n says as she awaits for lily's answer.

"yes I do, but that could be anyone. it could even be marleㅡ" lily says but y/n cuts her off by putting her hand up as a sigh leaves her lips.

"no not her. trust me it isn't marlene." y/n says as she looks at lily who looks at her with an even more confused look on her face.

another sigh leaves y/n's lips. "for a moment I thought of that until I heard sirius talking to james and remus about how he instantly thought about me." y/n said as a blush crept up on her face along with a small smile as she looked down at her lap.

"oh my goblins! y/n you have to make a move!" lily said as she smiled widely feeling happy for her best friend.

little did the two best friends know was that james was listening in their conversation.

with a wide triumphant smile, james quickly makes his way outside the library to meet with sirius and remus who were outside waiting for james to come out.

sirius, who was leaning against the wall, pushes himself off and makes his way towards james.

"so what did she say?" sirius asked as he looked at james with an anxious expression on his face.

"absolutely marvelous!" james said as he clapped his hands together as he smiled widely.

"well? what did she say!?" sirius says as his anxiety grew a little more.

"don't worry padfoot ㅡ y/n likes you too mate." james said as he clapped sirius' shoulder while baring a wide smile.

this causes sirius to sigh out in relief as a smile forms on his face.

sirius went to say something but the sound of lily and y/n's laugh rings out as the two girls walk out of the library only to stop in their footsteps to see the marauders standing there.

"oh ㅡ hello." y/n says as she looks at all of them with a blush on her face as her eyes meets with sirius.

"it's now or never marauder." lily whispers into y/n's ear as she nudges her ribs lightly.

y/n look at lily with wide eyes not thinking that their plan in the library was going to happen so fast.

"lily I don't thinkㅡ"

she was cut off by lily pushing her forward and into sirius, in which thankful he caught her quickly before they both went plummeting to the floor.

remus catching on to what was happening, looks at everyone with a look on his face before nudging his head to the side letting the others know to let them be.

y/n and sirius were too occupied starring at one another with awe to notice that the others have left them alone with one another in the entrance of the library.

"uh ㅡ thank you for catching me." y/n said as she blushed deeply before pushing herself away from sirius, suddenly growing anxious.

"it was not a problem." sirius said as he scratches the back of his head with a blush of his own on his face.

they both stood in silence as they tried to figure out what to do now considering they were never left alone before.

"doㅡ do you want to go a walk with me to the black lake?" sirius said as he looks at y/n with a hopeful smile on his face.

this caused y/n to smile widely as she nodded her head.

years later y/n and sirius were still together after that day they went on a walk to the black lake. everything was going great for them.

or at least that was y/n agreed to take on a dangerous mission during a current wizarding war.

"y/n you can't be serious about this mission?" sirius said as he trailed behind his girlfriend of three years. his anxiety peeking through as he saw her pack a small suitcase. "y/n ㅡ y/n are you even listening to me?"

a sigh leaves y/n's lips as she slouches her shoulders slightly before turning around a looking at the anxious sirius with a small smile.

"sirius, please understand this is something I want to do. I want to feel helpful to all our friends, families, and to those who are in danger." y/n said as she gave him a wide smile talking about the one thing she desperately wanted to do.

seeing the happiness and excitement on y/n's face, sirius couldn't just make her stay home with him knowing that she would be safe from the harm the war brings.

with a sigh, sirius knew he lost here but he was doing it because he knew it was y/n's dream to help out.

"alright," sirius said with a small smile as he placed his hands on y/n's shoulder before pulling her into his chest as he hugged her tightly. "I'm going to let you go and do what you do best cher." he said as he placed a kiss ontop of her head.

he then suddenly pulls her off of him slightly to have her look at him in the eye. "you better owl me when ever you can and don't worry my poor soul anymore than you already are." he says sternly but his eyes looks down at her softly as she knew he was only looking out for her.

"of course siri, don't worry your poor soul so much just yet." y/n said as she snuggled herself back onto his chest as she wrapped her arms tightly around his torso.

a wide smile grew on sirius' face as he held tight to the women he loved dearly.

two months after y/n has left for her mission within the order, sirius anxiety would frequent depending how long he hasn't heard from her.

but after not hearing from y/n for a month straight, his anxiety was very high. so high that he couldn't be left alone in his house.

james, lily, and remus all visited sirius in his home to keep him company and to help him through any sudden anxiety attacks that would happen.

the four best friends sat in the living room, while sirius paced around the space in the front of the fire place as he runs his hands through his hair.

"sirius please sit down. this isn't good for you to stress so much." lily said as she tried to calm down her best friend as much as she could.

sirius ignored what lily said as he continues to pace and run his hand through his hair while mumbling to himself. "why hasn't she written to me? did something happen to her? is she okay? did sheㅡ"

sirius gets cut off by the sound of someone apparating into the middle of the living room.

"oh! hello, didn't expect to you lot here." y/n said as she looked at everyone with a wide smile as she sees her three best friends looking at her with a wide smile on their faces as well.

"have you seen sirius? where isㅡ" y/n gets cut off by the feeling of someone pulling her into a bone crushing hug as they held onto her for dear life.

"y/n! cher! oh how I've missed you!" sirius cries has he felt relief flood through out his entire body as he holds onto his girlfriend.

"I missed you too siri," y/n said as she tighten her hold on sirius as happiness flood through her as she is finally home in the arms of her lover.

sirius then pulls her away and looks at her with a worried look. "are you okay!? why haven't I heard from you for a month!?" sirius rushes through his burning questions which causes her to look at him with an adorning look on her face.

"siri, I'm okay! I couldn't owl you for a month because I would risk my position but everything is dealt with now and I'm home." y/n said as she got on her tippy toes and placed a chaste kiss on sirius' lips.

then that's when sirius made a final decision in his head.

"y/n I love so much and ㅡ and I can't bare to lose you to something as dangerous as that mission or anything. for now on, I want to do it together with you. y/nㅡ" sirius said as he got down onto one knee.

a small gap left y/n's lips as she looked down at sirius as tears start to fall down her eyes from all the emotions she starts to feel.

"y/n, will you marry me?" sirius said as he held out a ring towards her as tear brim his eyes as he awaits for her answer.

"yes! sirius yes I will marry you!" y/n says as she gets onto the floor and tackles sirius into a hug in the floor as they both kiss passionately as their emotions got the best of them.

"congratulations!" james, lily, and remus all scream out as they jump off the couch with wide arms and smiles on their faces.

"time to celebrate!" james says as he brings out a bottle of fire whiskey with a smirk on his face.

"lily are you sure this all looks good?" y/n says as she looks down at her wedding dress.

"are you kidding me y/n!? you look absolutely beautiful! the dress you made is just jaw dropping." lily says as she awes at y/n's wedding dress.

y/n looks at herself through her mirror and look at the dress that hugs her frame beautifully. she studies the way the fabric flows softly down the skirt still it reaches the floor. she studies the delicate details that go around the designs and she knew that this was her's and sirius' moment.

a wide smile takes on her face as she turns around and looks at lily with tears brimming in her eyes.

"I'm ready." y/n says as she grabs onto her bouquet of beautiful owers that have been picked out for the theming of her wedding.

lily smiles widely at her and walks behind her to help her with the back of her dress.

as they made their way to the entrance of where the ceremony would take place, happy gidders took over y/n's body as the doors opened and her eyes landed upon her fiancée who looks at her with a wide smile.

y/n started to make her way over to sirius with a wide smile.

sirius couldn't take his eyes off of her as tears started to fall down his eyes as she walked towards him with her own tears falling down her eyes.

once y/n made her way in front of sirius, she handed lily her bouquet in order for her to hold onto sirius' hands.

throughout the ceremony, neither sirius nor y/n payed much attention to the words being told to them as they looked at one another with wide smiles on their faces.

"sirius, do you take y/n to be your wife?"

"huh? oh yes ㅡ yes, I do." sirius said as he briefly looked at the person next to him before looking right back at y/n.

a small giggle escapes y/n's lips as she butd her lips to try and to repress her smile from growing even more.

"and you miss y/n? do you take sirius as your husband?"

"yes ㅡ yes I do." y/n said as her hold on sirius' hands tightened slightly.

"please place the rings upon each other."

quickly the two put the rings on each of their fingers before looking at each other.

"and you now kissㅡ"

without any second thoughts sirius closes the gap between the two of them as he pulls y/n into a passionate kiss while everyone around them cheers for their marriage.
