I definitely cried when they told Meri about Beth's diagnosis! The plot is progressing at a good pace as well. The exposition introduces the characters, their situations, and the world well.

The characters are introduced and described very well. The characters' personalities are also shown well in the chapters. I really liked Nathan's characters. He brings a lot of levity to the story! The relationships between the characters are portrayed well and it's easy to see them. Beth's family is clearly very close and they care about one another. Nathan seems like he's going to provide a lot of support for Beth. She clearly has a good support system around her and they all provide a different kind of support for her.

The chapters are also a good length and everything was easy for the readers to understand.

The story is enjoyable and I would read on! I'd love to see how Beth's story develops. I'm also excited to see the bucket list Beth and Nathan came up with. I hope they're able to do a lot on it! I also want to know what Beth decides to do to leave her mark once she's gone.
