Knash grew up with a rough childhood. He was constantly abused by his father while his mother just tried to make ends meet by the end of every month. When he was five, he had watched his father kill his mother and he was taken away. From there, he was put in foster care and he bounced around from home to home. He was never adopted and he was put out on his own by the age of 18. By then, he was already abusing drugs and alcohol and he was put in rehab. At the age of 19, he was let go and while he played his guitar at different coffee shops he was discovered by a music producer and brought up into fame. At 20, he went into rehab again for a year before he continued his music career.
