Lyarra Targaryen was not a fool. She knew about the whispers inside the Red Keep. Princess Rhaenyra meant to usurp her brother prince Baelon with the defense that he was no longer in the right state to be a king. Her father, the king quickly got rid of those who whispered about such things. She knew Alicent was being used by Rhaenyra and Harwin Strong. Alicent wanted to give Rhaenyra children, she "knew" Laenor did not like women but men. Rhaenyra gave her friend a sob story that she bought but she was not complete wrong.

Lyarra knew her enemies were close. Otto Hightower tried to betroth his grandchildren with her children. Rhaenyra was trying to overthrow her own brother. Queen Aemma said nothing as she knew nothing or perhaps she was acting as if she knew nothing. Lyarra was making allies, she had to protect her own children. She allied herself with the Lannisters. Her son, Aegon was betroth to Cerella Lannister. Aemond to Ariadne Martell, Helaena to Cregan Stark, Visenya to Cassian Baratheon. Monterys match had yet to be determined.

Prince Daemon, Laenor Velaryon, Larys Strong and Ser Criston Cole were her eyes and ears. They each brought her news, secrets and whispers from around and about the Keep and everything outside of it thanks to Mysaria, Daemon's old whore. Lyarra knew Alicent was the easiest of the three girls to manipulate. If she had Alicent she could find out what Rhaenyra was planning to do. Alicent would come see her and spill everything Rhaneyra said about her. And how the young princess believed that Baelon was not the father of her children but Daemon. Aegon's father was prince Baelon. Aemond's father was Daemon. Helaena and Visenya were Criston's daughters. And Monterys was Laenor's son.

Despite "rekindling" her friendship with Alicent nothing was set in stone. Alicent was naive and knew nothing, as always. But, as long as Lyarra stood by her side nothing would matter. Alicent loved Lyarra, more than she had ever loved anyone. She believed her when she told her her five children were from her husband, she had no doubt, after all, all of her children look Targaryen and Velaryon more than Rhaenyra's own children.

Alicent had been Lyarra's friend first. She was the one who introduced Alicent to Rhaenyra as Rhaenyra was always with Laena, Laenor and her. Alicent became her spy, everything and anything Rhaenyra or Lord Otto said Alicent reported back to Lyarra. Lyarra with Larys' help gets a poison that slowly but surely kills the king and queen. They travel to Pentos to make allies as a family, leaving behind Baelon in charge alongside his wife. But, as the days pass the king becomes very ill with the queen. The maester that Daemon brings tells them is a fever with similar symptoms to the poison Larys got for Lyarra. Queen Aemma dies first, Lyarra feels bad but she was collateral damage for her. The king returns and it seems to get better but just three moons later he passes. Prince Baelon visited his father often which made it easier for Lyarra to kill him too.

The Maester told the council and his wife that he passed due to coming in contact with his father and his illness. Everyone believes it. Lyarra ends up being the queen. It is then that war starts for Rhaenyra. But, it does not go anywhere as Ser Laenor tells the truth about their children, Alicent backs them up, insisting her husband fathered Rhaenyra's children. So, Rhaenyra is given a choice, to back down with her claim or to be put to the sword. She believed Daemon and the Velaryons would back her but they do not. Prince Monterys is named the next lord of Driftmark by his grandfather. While Rhaenyra is sent off to Harrenhal. Alicent is freed from her marriage but her sons are still the heirs of Harrenhal.

Prince Aegon is named the future king. His brother, prince Aemond becomes the Lord of Dragonstone and of course the younger child of the queen becomes the future lord of Driftmark. Rhaenyra given no other choice accepts the terms as does the realm. The council chances. Daemon was now hand of the queen. Lord Corlys master of ships. Otto Hightower was the master of laws. A year later, Queen Lyarra announces her marriage to Morros Martell to strengthen their bond as allies. Morros kept his whores while Lyarra kept her own. She gave Morros three children. Oberyn, Elia and Nymeria. She gave Daemon another same who they called Daeron and she gave Laenor a daughter who he named Laena in honor of his sister who passed at child birth.

Morros died at sea, he got caught in a storm. Two years later Daemon and Lyarra marry and welcome a daughter Alyssa and a son Aemon. They were the last born children of the queen. There were many conspiracies surrounded the wolf queen. Many called her the kinslayer as they believed she called the king, the queen and prince Baelon to be their queen. Of course it was true but no one could ever prove it. The secret died with the very few people that new it.

She reigned for nearly eighty years before passing away in her sleep. Her husband, king Daemon had died a few years back. He took one last ride before he passed hours later surrounded by his family and wife. There were many descendants from Lyarra, Daemon, Morros, Laenor, Criston, and Prince Baelon.

Much to Princess Rhaenyra's dismay, Lyarra proved to be a great queen and her line proved to be great kings and queens in the future. House Targaryen sat in the throne for centuries and when the new century came, they remained in the highest position, being kings and queens in the new world. The greatest dynasty the new world had ever seen. And they would remain being the greatest dynasty the world has ever seen.
