Lyarra Snow was the "bastard daughter" of Rickom Stark. Lyarra Stark was different from her brothers. While they had the raven hair and grey eyes, their sister had silvery gold hair with soft lilac eyes. If anyone could see her she would look like any other Targaryen. Lyarra Snow was a Targaryen, partly. Daughter of Daenys Targaryen Velaryon, half sister to Daemon and Viserys.

Daenys soon after left to the Free Cities with her aunt Saera to live the free life she had always wished for and wanted. She sacrificed her daughter to get it. Lyarra was called back to King's Landing where she was raised as a proper lady by her uncle and his wife, Queen Aemma. She grew up alongside her cousins Rhaenyra and the twins Leanor and Laena and their close friend Alicent. Lyarra was an untamable child but she grew up to be a bright and beautiful girl.

Lady Lyarra Snow was a woman of taste. She enjoyed men and women all the same. She was never caught and never spoke of it to her friends, except for Leanor who shared the same likes. Lyarra was a great beauty, that's what everyone had said. She was at the age of marriage. Alicent Hightower and her close friends Rhaenyra and Laena kept a secret from each other. The three of them had loved the young wolf for years.

Lyarra spent most of her life with the three girls, they had spent countless hours together, some times they even shared a bath or bed together. In those times, Lyarra would somewhat shared her likes and throw hints of what she liked. When they were alone, each girl would allow her advances and sometimes even follow her lead. The three girls fell in love, the only problem was, she didn't love them, not like they would have wanted her to.

The years passed, Lyarra, on her ten and five name day she was given the name Stark. She was a legitimate now. Her father wanted to take her back to Winterfell to find her a good lord to marry her to. Princess Rhaenyra refused, telling the Lord that she should remain in the South to marry a rich Southern Lord. Lady Laena and Alicent both offered their brothers while Rhaenyra offered her uncle, good men with high positions. Lyarra Stark didn't want to marry, she wanted to be free, she didn't even want to be legitimized. Rhaenyra had the idea and she was not having it.

Rhaenyra, Alicent and Laena were in the private chambers of the princess. "Rhaenyra!" Lyarra yelled as she walked in, making the three girls jump in fear. "Lya!" the girl said happily. "Did you tell your father to legitimize me?" she asked in a serious tone that let the girls know Lyarra was not happy. "I thought you may want to be legitimize" Rhaenyra replied sadly. "Well, you thought wrong" Lyarra said before she walked away. "Lya, I just wanted to help. Please-" Lyarra stopped her. "I didn't need your help, Rhaenyra. I was fine being a bastard child. Now, thanks to you I have to marry!" the Northern girl walked out, slamming the door on her way out.

Lyarra Stark was fuming, she was lost in thought that she did not see prince Baelon walking towards her. Both, the Dragon and Wolf were angry and were not paying attention to where they were going. They clashed. "Watch where you're going will you?" she asked, she saw his face but at the moment she was too angry to care. "I apologize-" she didn't wait for him to finish before she walked away. Lyarra, was days away from departing when the king made an announcement. "My son, prince Baelon will take aย  wife now that he is of age. A wife the council thought would be the best match for him. Prince Baelon will marry Lady Lyarra Stark by Spring's end" the king said and the people said. Lyarra's face was unreadable. She said nothing, she gave a tight smile before excusing herself.

Lyarra had raged for hours that day. But, when she came out the next day she had smiled and acted as if she was happy with the match. Her father, was happy and proud of the match. Baelon had avoided her, until he couldn't which was on their wedding day. It had been two moons since. Two moons since Rhaenyra tried speaking together as did Alicent and Laena. Baelon and Lyarra got married when she was ten and five and Baelon twenty. Lyarra Stark became Princess Lyarra Targaryen.

Her first child came when she was ten and six, she named Aegon. The boy was a happy babe, he was like his mother many had said. His brother came just a year later, Aemond was all his father, or so everyone thought, if you looked close enough you could see Daemon Targaryen in the boy. Princess Helaena came two years after her brothers, with her, Visenya her twin. Baelon was happy, his wife had done her duty but Lyarra was miserable, she hated every second of that awful marriage. Daemon Targaryen, the rogue prince was one of her closest "Friends". Queen Aemma often invited her to dine with her but Lyarra always made up excuses that would allow her to miss dinners or breakfast with the family.

Leanor had remained her best friend, even when he married Rhaenyra, Laena Daemon and Alicent Harwin Strong. Leanor never had children with Rhaenyra but he did have a son with Lyarra. Laenor nor Lyarra knew how it had happened, them sleeping together was an experiment for him. He wanted to see if it would work. But, the babe was passed as Baelon since Lyarra's mother, princess Daenys was a Velaryon by blood. The babe was named Montereys Targaryen, Rhaenys and Corlys knew and they were proud.

Rhaenyra had three bastards sons and everyone knew it. But, it was no surprise as her friend knew her husband had fathered those children. Lyarra had stayed away from her once friend, her only friend was Daemon and Laenor Velaryon. Princess Rhaenys and her husband Lord Corlys. Baelon was a good father, always involved in the lives of his sons and daughters. But, he was terrible husband, always in the Streets of Silk or in the bed of other ladies. Lyarra didn't care as she too had her own lovers, Daemon, in rare occasions Laenor Velaryon and Criston Cole, her personal guard.

It had been years since she spoke to her once friends. Aegon was now eight, Aemond seven, Helaena and Visenya five and young Montereys only three. Almost a decade since they spoke. Lyarra stopped talking to her once close friends since the moment she was engaged to Baelon, she had yet to forgive Rhaenyra or her friends for taking Rhaenyra's side in the matter but Alicent was the first one to approached her.

Lyarra was in the garden with her children, they were in their classes, all except Monterys who swat on his mother's lap as she read to him. "Princess" she heard someone say, she could barely recognize the voice. "Lady Strong" she said with curtsy smile. "To what do I owe your visit?" she asked with a smile. "I just wanted to... perhaps rekindle our once friendship" she replied with an honest tone. "Our friendship over the years has fallen" she added. "I just wish to have my friend back" Alicent said looking at Lyarra for any answer in her eyes before it came from her mouth. "It's been quiet a long time, don't you think?" Lyarra asked and Alicent nodded. "You said, you didn't want anything to do with us, so I thought it was best to give you space. But, by the time I tried to come back into your life you had seem to replace me" she said.

Lyarra smiled. "I never replaced you. Yes, I made new friends but they weren't you, Rhaenyra or Laena" she said with a soft tone. "I just, I know it sounds insignificant. To complain about being named a legitimate child" Alicent nodded. "But, I did not wish to be a legitimate child. You've always known I cared very little for what others had to say about me. They're opinions did not concern me. Despite what they said I was the daughter of three great houses. I was content. I could stay with you, Rhaenyra or Laena. But, when I got legitimize you saw what happened. I was sold off just days after" there as a brief silence.

"I was sold off to be a broodmare. To bear sons and daughters for the future king. My husband, he's not a good man and I know you know" Alicent stayed quiet she knew. Baelon had become a terrible man. He was cruel to his wife, some said he was sadistic. Although, he was sadistic with his wife he knew he was limited, he was sure Lyarra would kill him if he ever went to far and the North would not stand for that, neither would the Velaryon and her family across the Narrow Sea.

Alicent smiled sadly. "But, let's not dwell on the past old, friend. Let's look into the future" Lyarra said as she held Alicent's hand. Alicent could've sworn her heart was about to burst out. The single touch of Lyarra melt her heart and soul. If she could, she would've kissed her right then and there. But soon, she'd get the chance to. The old friends would reunite once again.
