Princess Rhaelle Targaryen ascended to the Iron Throne in the spring of 129 ac. King Viserys had deemed his reign over, to avoid conflict as in the years he knew most of his council men wanted Aegon as the king he decided to step down and let his daughter become Queen. Prince Daemon and Prince Laenor Velaryon were named King Consorts of the queen Rhaelle Targaryen first of her name. The week before she became queen, princess Rhaelle took the birthing bed one last time, bringing, into the world two more daughters and a son. Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and his sisters, princess Daenerys and Princess Naerys,

Her first duty as the queen was to remove any men that had wished to see her brother on the throne. Lord Caswell, lord Beesbury and Lord Strong remained in the small council. Lord Corlys remain as well but Daemon and her father were made hands of the Queen. Ser Laenor oversaw the work of Harwin Strong as the Commander of rhe city watch. Rhaelle had made him the negotiator between her and other cities. 

The year after, her sister Rhaenyra married Prince Eric of the Free Cities. The entire royal family attended the wedding. A moon later Montereys married Helaena and Aethan married Morrigan Baratheon. The brothers were twins, they did everything together and they married the same day as well. Morrigan and Helaena were good friends, a friendship that lasted till both girls died of old age.

Three months later, prince Jacaerys married Nymeria Martell, a wish from his father wanting to see his daughter marry the man she had come to love before his passing. The man lived another two decades but as a prince, his daughter became the princess of Dorne, governing her land with her husband prince Jacaerys Velaryon. Just a week after Jacaerys' wedding Prince Lucerys Velaryon took as his wife Lady Mariela Tyrell, a beautiful wedding in High Garden, in the couple's favorite Garden. At the end of the year 130, prince Aegon and prince Aemond took Lady Baela and Lady Rhaena as their wives. In the eyes of the seven and in the ways of old Valyria.

Three years later, princess Visenya married Cregan Stark and her sister, Alyssa married her uncle Daeron. The last remaining children of queen Rhaelle were, Aemma, Laena, Baelon, Aemon, Viserys, Rhaegar, Daenerys and Naerys. The matches for the last children were not secure but there was talks about marriages with the Lannister's, Tully's, Arryn's, Royce, and perhaps other Free Cities.

Queen Rhaelle Targaryen bore fourteen children, giving House Targaryen a line to continue. All of her children had dragons. By her fifth year as queen House Targaryen stood at the height of its strength with more than fifteen adult dragons and ten baby dragons. She became a grandmother a year nearly two years after becoming queen. Otto Hightower tried to question Jacaerys and Lucerys once again. Even the princess Visenya.

This time, king Laenor was the one to cut his head clean off. Queen Rhaelle fed him to Mexarion and her other dragons. Alicent Hightower remained in King's Landing. Over the years she fixed her relationship with the Queen. House Targaryen remained at its peak throughout throughout the years. A few rebellions happened but they were soon crushed by the queen and her kings.

When the time came, Queen Rhaelle, like her father choose to step down and let her son become king. Prince Monterys reigned for ten years, dying in a battle against his twin, Prince Aethan. The rebellions that came after his reign came from the bastard line of his brother, Aethan. What happened to house Targaryen after Queen Rhaelle's death, is history. A bloody one at that. But that, is a story for another time.
