Prince Daemon was a master manipulator. Everyone knew that. Everyone also knew that he did not like the Hightowers. Except for one. Naerys Targaryen was Alicent Hightower's eldest daughter, twin sister to prince Aegon. As unbelievable as it sounded, she was king Viserys' favorite daughter, taking down her sister Rhaenyra. Naerys was different then most of the Targaryen children, unlike her brothers and sisters she wore a fiery red hair and lilac eyes. In her hair, there was only one strip of white. Her father loved it. She was his daughter yet Alicent's too.

Otto Hightower sought for her to be the one who would give the greens the North as it was said that lord Rickon Stark had asked for her hand in marriage. It was said her mother and father had declined because they were not ready to see their little girl go just yet. Life was perfect for the little princess until her uncle Daemon came into the picture. Daemon was years older than her, she was a young maiden of only ten and four. When prince Daemon returned to court from his many travels across the narrow sea, he came home to find that little Naerys was not so little anymore.

She had grown, but she was still young, a maiden but that matter very little to Daemon. She was a woman grown, as he told his brother when he asked for her hand. Naerys was tall, she was thick and full in the right places, her waist was a very small thing. Daemon often thought about in the many ways he would brake her once she became his little wife. His brother, king Viserys would not allow that happen, no. Not at all. So, he gave her hand in marriage to Lord Stark and she was sent off to the North as soon as possible.

Nearys did well in the North. It suited her and the people loved her. Her husband was a good man, compared to Daemon who ever since she married wrote to her every day. Naerys told her husband of the letters her uncle wrote as she wanted no secrets between her husband and her. The prince promised her a crown and riches. Power and everything she desired. All Nearys desired was love and happiness. Rickon Stark made her happy. In their first year, no child came. Rickon assured her it was normal, she was still young and they could keep trying, a child will come he promised. As he said, a child did come. A little boy was born, Cregan Stark was all his father but the eyes. His soft lilac eyes were those of his mother.

Naerys said nothing, not even to her parents. She loved them and knew it was wrong to keep such news from them but she did not want Daemon to know of her well being, she was afraid of him. Two years later came Visenya and Viserys. Little Visenya was all her mother, there was no hint of her father in her. Little Viserys was all his mother but had his father's blue/grey eyes. Naerys could not ask for anything more in life. She had not heard from Daemon in a long time. She thought his obsession was finally done for until it wasn't. Her husband went to check something on a nearby town, she bid him goodbye that morning not knowing it was the last time she would ever see him again.

The news reached the capital soon enough, too soon for her liking. Lord Stark had died in an ambush and the young girl had been left a widow at the young age of ten and eight. Who would take her now? Many had asked, there were many lords who would take the realm's beauty as their wife. Her return came after the funeral just months later. She returned to the capital nearly four years after being married. She also return with three children. One daughter and two sons. Everyone was there to greet her, including her uncle. King Viserys stood tall, he had recovered, ever since he heard of her return.

"Father" she greeted with a smile. "My sweet girl" he said opening his arms to embrace his daughter. "Mother" she said after pulling away from her father going to hug her mother. "My little dove" she said and she saw Daemon smiled at the nickname. She hugged everyone. Her sisters and all. "Father, mother. I would like to introduced you to some people" her parents nodded and waited. The princess walked to her carriage and had some maids help her. "This is Cregan, he is three. And these are Visenya and Viserys, they were almost two" she said. Alicent held the little girl in her arms as she reached down to see the young boy, the king doing the same with Viserys. It was a rare sight to see the king and queen smiling at each other. Only princess Naerys had the power to do that. "Niece" she heard Daemon's voice from behind her. "Uncle" she greeted with a fake smile. "It's good to have you back home" he said before kissing her hand. "It's nice to be back although I wish it was under different circumstances" he nodded as she walked away.

She avoided him as much as she could but it was rare when she actually accomplished to. She loved to spend time with her siblings, Rhaenyra had just gotten married to their cousin Leanor. They had no children yet (here Rhaenyra is right about the same age as her youngest siblings. Just five three older than Naerys).

Daemon never left her side, he would whisper into her ear about everything and anything. Specially when her son's uncle began to say the seat of the North should belong to him, a true Stark. "He wants to take your son's birth right, Naerys. What are you gonna do about it?" he asked and she said nothing. "I don't know. What should I do? I want no trouble. My son is only three, he has no business running the North" she replied. Daemon smiled then, he caressed her cheek. "I can protect you, my dear niece. Not only you but your children too" he said. "How?" she asked. "Marry me" he said.

There was a silence in the room. "But I cannot. Mother says I can remain unmarried now as I have done my duty to the realm" the prince giggled. "Your mother does not want happiness for you, dear niece. Don't you want to be happy?" he asked. She nodded. "Don't you want to be a mother again?" he asked, she nodded, leaning into his touch but as soon as she realized she stepped away. "I do not wish to disappoint my mother" she explain before walking away. Daemon didn't stop trying. Her mother told her she could decided what she wanted now.

In the council meeting Daemon made his desire known. "I wish to take princess Naerys hand in marriage" Daemon said making the whole room go quiet. "The princess does not need to marry anymore" Otto said, he would not let his grand daughter marry Daemon. "She needs someone to protect her" he stated. "You now Cregan's uncle wants to take his place. I will protect my niece and her children if needed" the council knew it was more that but Daemon was loved by the people, he made sure Viserys was made king, he gathered the support for him. "I think it's a good idea" Lord Corlys said. "An ally close to the crown" Lord Lyonel Strong agreed to alongside the maester.

"Well, perhaps my daughter should marry. I won't live forever. She may need someone to protect her when I'm gone" Otto was gonna fight till the end. "Perhaps the princess can marry Aegon or Aemond. Someone closes to her age" he said before looking at Daemon who was a lot older than her. "Who can protect her better than I?" Daemon asked. "Protect
her against whom?" Otto asked. "Whoever wishes us any harm" the king seemed to be thinking about it. "I think it's a good match" the king had said making the rogue prince smile and Otto scowl. "Very well then, brother. I shall inform my bride" Daemon said before standing and walking out.

Naerys sat in the gardens as she watched her children play. "Princess" she heard a voice say but she knew who it was. "Uncle" she replied with a smile. Daemon smiled upon seeing her smile. "I spoke to your father. He has allowed me to marry you. If you wish it of course" he said. Daemon, despite wanting her to be his would never for his beloved niece into a loveless marriage with him. She said nothing. "Do you not wish to marry me, my little love?" he asked as he caressed her cheek. She looked up at him. "I do" she said with a smile. Daemon did not wait long, by the next moon the pair was married in the ways of old Valyria and per her request in the faith of the Seven.

Prince Daemon moved his wife and her children to Dragonstone. The princess was happy, Daemon kept her happy yet he isolated her from everyone and everything. She fell in love with Daemon, she would do anything he'd ask of her. There had been no contact for nearly ten years as prince Daemon and his wife left Dragonstone in the middle of the night. All they knew was that they left and said they'd come back one day. After ten long years the couple return for Lady Laena's funeral. By then, Naerys' eldest children were three and ten, and one and ten.

Naerys had given Daemon plenty of children. She had Cregan, who was nearly ten and five, Viserys and Visenya who were ten and three. Baelon was nearly eleven. Alyssa and Aemma were nine. Rhaena and Baela were seven, Aemon was five. Her youngest, Aenys and Maegor were two and the princess was currently pregnant with her twelve child. Daemon barely gave her time to adjust to not being pregnant when he was already getting pregnant once again. He did not want her to leave and she would never leave as all she knew for the last past ten years was Daemon and Daemon only. He would never let his little love go. And anyone who would dare to come against them would meet the end of Dark Sister.

Their return to King's Landing was welcomed by a celebration and the cheer of the people for the return of their beloved princess. King Viserys welcomed his daughter and brother back to court and the entire realm had been invited. Her father and the realm waited their arrival. They stood outside, it was like relieving the past, this time though, she came back with her husband. All of her children had dragons, there was none that didn't, even her Stark children had their dragons. "Princess Naerys Targaryen and her husband, Prince Daemon Targaryen. Their children, Prince Cregan Stark, Viserys Stark, Visenya Targaryen, Baelon Targaryen, Alyssa and Aemma Targaryen, Rhaena and Baela Targaryen, Aemon Targaryen, Aenys and Maegor Targaryen" the people bowed as the couple and their children walked towards the royal family.

Her father and mother stood, both excited to have their daughter in their arms. She reached for both of her parents, smiling and crying tears of joy after seeing them for the first time in a decade. "Father, mother" she said with a smile. Daemon hugged his brother. "Brother, is good to see again" he said with a smile. Cregan and his siblings rushed to their grandparents, he often visited them as he traveled to the North from time to time to learn about his people and his duties.

Prince Cregan was a natural leader and his parents were proud of the boy. Daemon was a good father not only to his blood children but to his step children as well. But, Cregan was his favorite, Cregan was a Targaryen more than he was a Stark, Daemon could see the fire in his eyes. He excelled in everything, sword fighting, hunting, Valyrian language, and politics. He wanted to make his mother proud and proud Naerys Targaryen was. Prince Viserys and princess Visenya were as wild as it got, well, Visenya was. Viserys was more like his grandfather and father while Visenya was more like her mother and her siblings, wild and untamable.

The rest were growing strong and educated under the watchful eye of Daemon Targaryen. Things were good, nothing could go wrong. But, Rhaenyra feels jealous over her sister's life. She's happily married to the man she loves and they seemed to be in love and happy, unlike her. Despite caring and loving Laenor she's not having the life she wished had, like Naerys. So, what happens when Rhaneyra spreads rumors and tries to ruin her sister's perfect marriage? Will she succeed or will she fail? Will princess Naerys survive childbirth, or will she met the end like the other Targaryen women?
