𝟛. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀!

   𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵, you relaxed on a rock.... Yes a rock, again you have habit of sleeping in weird places. You enjoyed the sun that warmed the rock as the as the shade covers you. 

   You like the warmth of the boulder as you hear your friends enjoying this day.

"There's nothing like a lazy day on the beach."

   Sonic says, you agree quietly as your tail swishes. You felt tired from gardening your new plants so this day felt like the day to treat yourself with your friends.

   That's when you jumped by Sticks scream. 

   You rolled off the rock and fell face planted on the sand. You grumble and spit some sand that went in your mouth, then wipe some off too.

"I just perfected my most brilliant invention yet!"

   You sat up and dust off the sand from your pants and look up at Tails, who walks with something that was covered by a cloth.

"Meet UT, the Universal Translator. Designed to translate any language into our own."

   He takes it off revealing a small robot, you awed at his creation giving him a small clap. While the others stayed silent with confusion.

"Allow me to demonstrate!"

   He points at birds on a tree eating a worm. You guys all watched his creation in work.

"The fact that you pre-chew my food is repulsive."

"Hey, it works!"

   Knuckles say, you overall stare in amazement with a your tail swishing side to side.

"Didn't see that one coming."

"Uhmm, it's still talking?"

"I thought this thing translated birds."

   You tilt your head confused too.

"Since what you're saying doesn't need to be translated, UT is translating it into what you really mean."

"I didn't intend for it do that, but I will gladly accept full credit."

   You smile happily in amazement as you walk beside him.

"That's cool Tails!"

   You ruffle his head as he grins with the affection and compliment.

"That's really cool."

"Thanks!"

   Tails smile widens more by the meaning behind it, so I guess what you say really does have a good meaning to it!

"That's great Tails."

"Pretty lame."

   You did frown a bit at Amy, which really broke the girls heart seeing you frown at her.

"T–That's not what I was thinking at all!"

"Man, I am totally busted."

   UT translated for her again. 

"Tails I think it needs some work."

    Amy said with panic? You stood there still with a frown at her that's what she thought off, you pat the foxes head again in comfort.

"If that thing doesn't shut its metal trap I think I might die."

   You did hold in a giggle seeing Amys reaction when it translated again for her. 

"Wait. This thing reads MINDS??"

"Wait this thing reads mind?"

"GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!!"

"Get it out of my head."

   You panicked a bit when Sticks was about to pounce on it for reading out loud her thoughts? Knuckles caught her in time to stop her.

"Now, now, calm down Sticks!"

"Take it easy, whack job."

   You stare with small shock but sigh as some of your friends words and sentences started getting translated. You place a hand on your cheek feeling more a bit disappointed by more meanings behind your friends words.

"Tails, I think it's best if you shut that thing off."

   Amy pipes up staring at you and Tails.

"We don't want it to reveal anything too,... Sensitive."

"Shut that thing off before it tells Y/n how much I lov—...."

   Tails shuts it off in time, you stood there with a tilt head, while Amy was almost trembling in embarrassment and relief it didn't reveal that secret.... 

"Uh, what was he about to say?"

"NOTHING!! Nothing important...."

   She giggles nervously waving her hands. Feeling her poor cheeks heat up, you shrugged it off.

"It's alright Tails, I'm sure it'll be in use soon!"

   You pat Tails's back, he frowns a bit but lightens up by your touch.

"Yeah."

"Sooooo, anyone up for some cake I brought?"

   That seemed to lighten up everyone's mood.

   𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝘂𝘁, you hoped everyone was getting along from what happened yesterday.

   You were about to greet but stopped to see your friends arguing. 

"Uhmm guys?"

   You became hesitant to walk over, some of them stops to see you while Sticks gets off of Knuckles and growls. So did UT.

"What's going on?"

"I can't think of an insult for Y/n! He's too good."

   Eggman groans. The one who stole Tails real UT, he thought of something then talked through the mic to the fake UT.

"What is going and why are y'all fight?"

   The fake UT said. You gulped and gripped your sack with worry, seeing your friends argue makes you feel anxious.

"A–Amy lets not yell please!"

"Sonic the hedgehog, I can't believe you'd think those awful things!"

   You stand between them and pushed Amy with your tail away from him, your hands pushed Sonic too to keep distance from him.

   Sonic was in fact frustrated and angry at Amy but did almost freeze when your hands placed on his chest...

"So now you're gonna trust some bucket of bolts over me?"

   Sonic points at the fake UT, you sigh feeling more worried.

"What is happening?...."

   You wished you stayed at home again. Hearing all your friends fight and yell.

"AT LEAST Y/N HERE IS THE ONLY TRUSTABLE PERSON HERE!!"

"Hey I CAN BE TRUST WORTHY!!"

   You flinched when Amy jumps at Sonic and grabs him by his scarf. 

"Y/N IS THE ONLY PERSON I TRUST AND APPRECIATES ME!!"

"I KNOWN HIM LONGER THAN YOU, AND I TRUST HIM MORE THAN ALL OF YOU!!"

   Both Sonic and Amy fight. You stood there dumbfounded, not really understanding why they're fighting and what does it got to do with you?!

   You flinched again when Knuckles grabs Sticks from her jumping on him and shakes her. While you tried to stop your friends from fighting Tails looks at the fake bot.

   Thinking how his friends wouldn't think of such things, he opens it up and looks in surprised seeing a remote speaker!

   He pulls it out seeing who it's made by... Eggman.

"You guys! STOP!! We've been duped, Eggman swiped UT and replaced him with this impostor!!"

   Tails yells out. You guys all stopped, you were in the middle of trying to break apart Knuckles and Sticks while your tail was holding Amy back who still held Sonics scarf.

   Knuckles drops Sticks.

"We gotta save the real UT!"

   Tails runs off? Then stops to turn around seeing y'all standing there, you rub your arm with an unsure face.

"Don't you guys wanna get UT back?"

"The thing is bud, that robot of yours just makes us fight all the time..."

"IT'S EVIL I TELL YOU!!"

   Both Sticks and Sonic said, you felt bad as you look at Tails.

"Fine, I see it how it is... I'll go get him back myself!"

"W–Wait Tails!"

   You call out to him but he flys away. Your older brother self starts to worry.

"We have to go after him before he gets seriously hurt or anything reckless!"

"I'm sure he'll be fine."

"Sonic he gets most of his recklessness from you."

   You sternly say. Sonic winces at that comeback. You though sigh and rub your arm.

"I hope he'll be alright...."

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀, you frown over the thought of your friends not helping him at all. You told your friends you won't hangout today, feeling worried for the yellow fox and hade errands to run to.

   Well you would help him but he fly right into danger and you're not strong enough... Your worried face soon turned into a questioning one.

   You look behind you and furrow your brows. Feeling something is watching you... Or someone.

   You place the water bucket down as you tried listened out for the thing or person watching you.

"Huh I must be on edge...."

   You muttered. Unknowingly of someone who stares then teleports away.

"Hmph, looks too fragile.."

   A deep voice said as he grabs a fruit from your bowl. As a snack to beat up some bandits that were about to break into your house.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀, you felt relief and scolded Tails for going out alone!

"Don't do that again Tails please you almost gave me a heart attack."

"S–Sorry Y/n."

   Tails smiled a bit and rubbed the back of his head as you stood there like a mother.

   You just huffed and looks at your friends.

"I see you guys gotten along!"

"Yeah, it seems Tails's bot can be helpful."

   Sonic said, you smiled softly then perk up remembering something.

"Shoot I got to meet up with someone today!"

"R–Really? Who?"

   Amy asked with worried? She was panicking that you're probably going on a date seeing how you rushed around your house to get things.

"A date?"

   Sonic asked too.

"What!? N–No I can't handle romantic stuff yet... I have to meet my sister at the village to give her something!"

   You said with a small red face. They all seemed to quietly sigh with relief.

   After you got the stuff you run out.

"You guys can treat yourself in the kitchen, please don't cause a ruckus when I get back!"

   You say and then said goodbye.

   The gang stood there for a moment before going to the kitchen to eat something.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲, holding the present for Bingo that you've made.

"Oh yeah before I go! Here a letter for you!.... It's from a certain armadillo~"

"WAIT REALLY??"

   You blushed heavily as you grab the letter with trembling hands. Your heart already beating fast as your eyes widens at the familiar hand writing.

'To Y/n from Mighty! :D'

   You feel your sister taking a peek with a small grin.

"Dawh how cute! He wrote a smile there, he's the one–"

"Chill out we're just friends..."

   She deadpans at you.

"Are you, never mind I gotta go! See ya bro!"

"Bye Honey!"

   You waved goodbye to her as she walks away. You stood there for a moment and looked down at the letter.

   Feeling a small smile on your lips as your blush cools....

"Mighty..."
