𝟚. 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀?

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗲, worse, shit. You felt like shit.

   You took more than ONE all nighter to finish something for your older brothers birthday, you failed multiple times that really raise frustration and anger in you.... A lot of times you just grip the piece so hard that it snapped. 

   But you managed to finish it!

   You let out a sigh as you place it down in a red box, your eyes blinked like a frog as you let out a yawn, you fell face first on your couch—yes couch you don't really have a bed because you have a habit of sleeping in random places.

   You snuggle your face on a cold pillow, perfect, so perfect that your eyes slowly fall down, starting to fell rest and darkness taking over your body and mind....

"Y/N!! MY BREAKFAST SPOKE TO ME!!"

"EEP!??"

   You jump, by the loud door opening causing your body to fall off the couch. Sticks the badger, a rowdy and chaotic badger who just barges in to tell you something. 

   You let out a drowsy groan and sit up.

"R–Really?"

"YES!!"

   She screeches out, your ears wince a bit. You rub your head and let out a yawn, stretching your limbs far.

"Sticks, what time is it?"

"It's 9:30, oh yeah we also gotta go to Tails place for a meet up."

   You smack your lips and stand up, you walk towards Sticks with your eye bag eyes and a small smile.

"Let's go then..."

"LETS GO MY SHINY!!"

   She picks you up easily and runs off, you didn't mind as you found this as an excuse to slowly close your eyes–

"We're here."

"Ah."

   You forgot how close your place is to Tails house, Sticks puts you down, you rub your eyes and slapped your cheeks trying to wake yourself up. 

"Sticks bite my tail."

"Why?"

"Just do it and I'll feed you cobbler."

"Okay."

   She does so, you held back a scream and covered your mouth, small tears cling on your eyes but you felt awake and a bit alive.

"T–Thanks Sticks."

"Yeah."

   She grins of being helpful, you just wipe your small tears and huffed, then fixed your tail fluff. 

   You turn to see Amy and Knuckles coming over, you waved to them saying your greetings. You guys knock on the door to be welcomed by a tired Sonic.

   You didn't questioned much as you guys just walk in, then stopped quickly seeing a familiar villain.

   Eggman stretches out and yawns. You guys go in fighting stance.

"Eggman!?"

"Well hey gang! Didn't know you'll be visiting so early!"

   He says happily? You didn't know as y'all watch him walk by, your face slowly in confusion then into a tired look as you yawn.

   You didn't listen to the rest of what Eggman said but perk up smelling food? You see TAILS COOKING?? WHAT?!

   Your eyes widens seeing him cook, he doesn't really cook because of his clumsiness so he calls you over to cook for him—which you don't mind! Brought back many memories of you learning how to cook for your siblings.

(Male wife Y/n? Hell yeah)

   The smell didn't smell appetizing, making your nose scrunch. 

   You watch with sorrow eyes as Tails walks to Eggman with his breakfast, he gave it to him and Eggman starts to inspect it?

"Augh, I asked for egg whites... These are yellow! See the yellow? I'm trying to watch–"

"He gets it Eggman just let me cook for you."

   You growl walking to the kitchen to start his meal. The gang and even Eggman was surprised by your attitude, as you start cooking in a fast pace, with rather a bit of a annoyed and anger look.

   Sticks broke the small silence.

"It's all some evil plot MAN! FIRST he lures us in some terrible roommate ploy but then WHAM!! OUT THIS FIFTY–FOOT BOT OBLITERATOR THAT OBLITERATES US ALL!!"

   She inhales deeply after shaking Knuckles.

"We gotta get outta here."

   She sternly says.

   After you finished cooking up his food making sure it's what he wants, you place the food down with an anger look.

"Hmph."

   You walk away back to the gang to lean against your tail to slowly rest.... Slowly limping as you feel drowsiness. That's when flinch by a small shake, your eyes slowly look up to see Sonic who looks down at you with worry.

"Hey Y/n you feeling alright? You seemed a bit, angry back there?"

"Yeah, I'm just feeling tired that's all."

"Gee I can tell, how long have you stayed up?"

"........"

   You stayed silent seeing everyone looking at you... Oh your heart is racing.

"Uhm, let's see.... Three or fo–"

"Okay lets get you to bed."

    𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲–𝗡𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽, you were tucked in by Knuckles that made your poor heart to ache by this affection.

   Your friends surrounds you with worried faces.

"Y/n just rest."

"I–I will don't worry,.... After I do some errands–"

   You tried to get up but hands grasp your shoulders and forced you down, you eep as you were pushed down by none other than....

Sonic.

   Your face flushed in red like your fur that poof, you hesitated to talk back as he gives you a stern look.

"Rest bud or we'll make you."

   You couldn't say anything as you just snuggle yourself back in the blanket.

"Y–Yeah don't worry a–about me. I'll sleep like a baby."

   You muttered with a red flush face, Sonic just grins victoriously as he crosses his arms.

"Good."

"Don't worry Y/n, I'll water your plants this evening!"

   Amy chimed up. You smile at her softly.

"Thanks Ames—"

   You let out a yawn feeling comfortable, you turn to the side to face your cushions, the gang soon heard soft snores.

"Yelp he's out. Let's hurry before Eggman does anything evil at Tails's house."

"Awhh he looks so comfortable."

   Amy cooed at your sleeping form, before they all left Sonic did turned around to pat your fluff head and dashed off back to the gang.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲, finally.

   You watered your plants humming a tune, your mind went happily towards your visit from Sticks who brought 'offerings' (are actually gifts) because you woke up looking better.

"Here's this shiny rock I found, and berries I picked out for you."

"Sticks thank you so much!"

   You grin at her and grab the things, the feral badger felt her cheeks warm up and her tail slightly wagging by the appreciation from you.

   This reaction made her boil with anger and confusion.

"STOP USING YOUR POWERS ON ME!! RAAAAAHHHH—"

   She screams and runs away with her arms up high.

"W–Wait Sticks your cobbler!....."

   You tried to call out to her but she was gone from view, you sigh with a smile at her silly antics.

"What a interesting badger.."

   You of course planned to deliver her cobbler at her borrow. You perk up with a sudden thought.

'I wonder how Tails and Sonic are doing with Eggman...'

   You thought worriedly. So you got your stuff, your sack and left to see them. Fearing the worst...

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘅𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗶𝗻. 

"Hello!"

   You chirp out with a small greeting smile. Your smiling and voice made the others look at you.

"Y/n?"

   The trio—Sonic, Tails and Amy all said in unison, your cheery self was back! So you waved at them with a close eye smile.

"What's up?"

"Oh nothing, I was about to go over some roommate therapy time! Want to join?"

"Sure."

   You walk and sit beside Amy, your tail swooshed behind her which caused the pink hedgehog to blush madly.

"Amy is my tail taking up space? I can move it if you wa–"

"NO! NO! I–It's alright!"

   She waves her hands, trying not to let her flustneress and stuttering get the best of her. 

   Sonic and Tails both raise eye brows at this but Sonic seemed to look away feeling something in his chest deep down.... He tried to change that as that he just had a bad stomach ache.

   You shuffle a bit and look at Sonic and Tails.

"So how's living with Eggman?"

"I've had enough of Eggman! Where or no where he's outta here!"

   Sonic throws out and his arms up as he explains this, you just sweat drop at his complaining.

"You can't just throw Eggman out. Sure he might be a difficult roommate, but it's only because you guys have a communication problem."

   Amy reassures as you nod along with her. 

"Communication problem?! He whacked me with a pillow, HARD! I'M dizzy and have serious short–term memory lost!...... And I have serious short–term memory!"

   You silently gasp at this placing a hand over your mouth in worry.

"Oh dear..."

   Now you're just worrying over Tails seeing him like this, your tail twitches by your anxiety for Tails. 

"Why don't we settle this with a roommate meeting?"

   Amy jumps off the swinging chair (gosh those are some cool furniture damn Tails). You nodded and stand up.

"I'll make some sweets then."

   You say with a small smile and walk to the kitchen to prepare some sweets for this meeting! Oh your small steps made Amy fawn over your more with a lovely look and faint pink cheeks.

'GAAHHH SO CUTE!!'

'Cute...'

   A certain someone most definitely flinched by the thought. As his tired eyes widens.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀, you made macaroons! After you pipe the last one you almost jumped and messed up the thing by loud and violent sobbing. 

   You sigh in relief to see your small treat wasn't ruined, you dust your hands on your apron and walked with a plate of macaroons to where the meeting was held.

"—I am the worst roommate–!"

   You furrow your brows in guilt of seeing Eggman crying as you out the plate down, you pat his back in comfort as he sobs more.

"I've never lived with other people before.."

"What about us?"

"You don't count."

   You wince at that combat as Eggman reaches for a macaroon. You felt guilt towards Cubot and pat his metal flat head. That made the robot a bit more happy.

   Letting a sigh as Eggman sobs more. 

'Gee he's really emotional now, just like Honey about this one couple in a manga...'

"WAHHHHH S–SHE AND HIM BOTH—AUGHH DIED TOGETHER IN THEIR ARMS—Y/N IT'S THE MOST SADDEST SHIT EVER!!"

"Eggman if we give you a second chance you promise to shape up?"

"Y'know I can take him in so you guys can rest?"

   You offered your help, the trio eyes widens at your kindness and generosity as you just smiled with beamy eyes.

"Y/n that's nice but we don't no evil or bad in your pure, kind household."

"But I don't really mind!"

"No, just no."

   Sonic says, you just slightly whine but nod in understanding. Eggman lightens up.

"How are you so kind."

   He mutters. Then looks back at Sonic.

"But Sonic you bet!"

   Eggman grins and snaps his fingers. You clap a bit.

"Roommate meeting group hug!"

   You smile as the group, but frown seeing Orbot and Cubot excluded out.

   They jumped up for the hug too but was backed down.

"Not you."

   They both lower their heads down in sadness, you happily though grab them both in a hug surprising them both.

   Though they hugged back with the small warmth you gave them, even though you guys are enemies!

"Thank you sir, we really needed that."

"You feel like an oven."

"Uhhh thanks? And you're welcome!"

   You let them go and happily pat their heads. (Fun fact Y/n's head pats are so heavenly)

   The robots beamed with happiness by the affection that they might start over heating! Some people just glared at the robots....

 "Okay Y/n that's enough affection."

"Huh?"

   You questioned Sonic. Sonic too was confused why he was acting like this...

   𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗱𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴, and so did Tails. As they tiredly stayed up for their friends. 

"You're still hanging with Eggman? How many hours of sleep did you get?"

"Zeroo,..."

   Sonic said, he didn't pay attention what Sticks or what the others are saying. He just stares at the floor with exhaustion, he follows his friends outside to see something?

   He doesn't know at this point.

   Feeling his closed as he stood there. Thinking of sleeping.

"Hello Sonic!"

And maybe a thinking little of him, a special squirrel.

"SONIC WAKE UP!!"

   His eyes widens by the sudden shake.

"W–WHA—!?... Y/n..."

"Sonic what's happening?!"

   You asked worriedly as your head looks side to side then at the obliterate bot. His tired eyes slightly opens seeing your worried state, making him feel worried too.

   He thought to himself too.

'Is it me or does he look so hazy and glowing?'

   You were shoved by Eggman by his hands on your face.

"SONIC YOU HAVE TO HELP ME!!"

   Eggman pleads with his hand still on your face, you wiggle and wiggle to get it off your face. 

   Sonic just looks away with an angry yet tired look as he crosses his arms.

"Why it's your obliterator bot?"

"Because if you don't, I'm truly stuck living with you until I build a new island fortress."

"Agbram you can jrust–livfe wif meh."

(Again you can just live with me.)

   Your sentence was mushy as you tried still to get his hand off of your face. Sonic eyes widens because hell nah he ain't living another night him nor day.

"Lets roll."

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘁, through the ride though you had to wrap your tail around Sonic and Tails to keep them from falling out. They had a nice short nap on your fluff tail lol.

   You guys look up at the bot to see it tearing down Eggmans fortress. 

"We gotta stop it, but so tired..."

   You look at Tails worried seeing him down as you walk towards him and hold him up.

"Maybe there's a clue on the ground, or maybe on this soft... Looking pillow."

   You squeak as Sonic plops on your tail, your face almost heating up by this—no matter how many times he lays on your tail it still makes you flustered.

   But luckily someone woke him up.... Violently.

   You stare with wide eyes as Sticks starts stomping on Sonic with one foot, with a small meaning behind those kicks....

   Okay she was jealous a bit. Well hey a good excuse to stomp on someone with jealousy!

"Wha–What's wrong? ARE WE UNDER ATTACK—!?"

   He instantly stands up in a fighting position, but then realizes what. That made you giggle a bit.

"Oh... Right."

   He yawns and stretches. You tried to politely wake up a sleeping Tails, slightly shaking him and hear his drowsy snores. You didn't pay attention again as you tried to wake up Tails but then Sonic grabbed him, that caused him to wake up.

"—Tails and I are on the kill switches, Eggman, you'll have to show us how to activate them."

   You watch nervously then a sudden fortress piece crumbles to you. Your eyes widens as all your fur spikes up. 

   You were about to move but Amy hits it with her hammer. You stood there shaky like your whole soul left you.

"WAHH THANK YOU AMY!!"

   You thanked her with crocodile tears, Amy just gave you a closed eye smile.

"No problem!"

   She called out, you and her jump by another piece. Your whole body trembles as you run away from rumbles and pieces.

   You don't really interact with battle but you felt more safe when Knuckles scooped you up and runs with you beside Amy and Sticks.

   In a panic your wrap your arms around Knuckles's neck and your tail wraps around his arm. Holding in your scream as you guys ran.

   That's when the bot jumps down in front you guys.

   You shivered by its stare and tighten your grip around Knuckles.

"I knew you were coming,... BUT YOU WILL NEVR OBLITERATE STICKS BECAUSE STICKS IS UNOBLITERA—... AUH–.... UNOBLITER—... You can't kill me."

"N–Nice try Sticks."

   You said with a shaky voice with a small cricket smile. But the the bot slowly starts to shut down, you guys all perk up then Sonic speed out. 

   Grabbing a metal piece and jumped high.

"PILLOOWW FIIIGHTT!!"

   He yells out and whacked the robot head off, then it exploded. The Eggmans fortress exploded. You wince a bit then remember your latch on Knuckles.

"Heya Knux, can you put me down now."

"Sure Plum!"

   He puts you down, you almost collapsed down but you got a grip. 

"I need a nap."

   You said with a shaky breathe. 

    𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵, tail swished side to side as you felt nervous with a slight red face that happened yesterday.

   𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘆𝗮𝘄𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲, the gang all leaves them to sleep but you were stop by a hand grabbing your wrist.

"Hm?"

   You look behind to see Sonic with his tired eyes staring down at you.

"Stay..."

".... EH WHY?!"

   Your eyes widens as your fur puffs, Sonic just dragged you to the opening space of the floor and motioned you to sit. You did with a nervous face.

   Then you flinched when he plops on your fluff tail, nuzzling the soft fur.

"You're my new pillow so you have to stay."

"Uhm. Mmhh,..."

   You were a blushing wreck. This did bring memories though, when you guys were kids he would lay on your tail as a pillow and talk to you hours about some weird stuff..... Younger you would happily listen with small pink cheeks.

   Now with you guys being teens your embarrassment mood was turned on. You deadpanned when you heard small snores. You turned to your friend who's soundly asleep.

   You sigh with a small smile and lay down, taking a small nap...

   One was watching this interaction. A yellow fox just smirks with a smug look.

'I knew it.'

   Then he dozed off sleeping.

   Your thought snapped when you heard a voice.

"H–Hey fellas, as you know my fortress is now smoking ruin... So I was wondering maybe if I could stay with you for a little while. Just until it's built back?"

"You can just live with me for a while–"

"No."

   The gang said with stern looks, you just grumble a bit.

I WAS LITERALLY GRINNING AND GIGGLING WHEN I WROTE THE FLUFF AHHHHHH—

Also this sentence:

Anyways it seems speedy boy is slowly falling for yah 😻 buddy is a little too late for that lol he was too slow
