𝐿𝑜𝑙 𝐼 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐!! 𝐵𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝐼'𝑚 

𝑑𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑡𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ~

𝟙. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸

    𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵, you were planting new flowers in your pots and it ended up messy. 

   It's been a good month since you've moved to your new place here by the beach! It's lovely, you get to see your friends in a daily basis and chaotic things happens.

   Your ear twitches hearing a small gush of wind, that's when you turned around with a raise brow.

"Eh?"

"Y/n!"

"Hey Sonic–SONIC??"

   You eek in surprise seeing him and Tails who's unconscious? Oh no, your older brother status spiked up as you dropped your planting tools to get up close.

"W–What happened!?"

"Eggman attacked."

   You frown as you lead Sonic to your living room so he can set Tails down, he did so and watched you check his injuries and further more damages.

   You let out a sigh in relief.

"He's has a head injury, but it's not severely injured or anything."

   Sonic sighs too hearing this. You brought out bandages and wrapped around his head.

"But I do recommend to keep him relaxed and make him stay in bed for a while."

"Thanks bud, I thought I almost lost him."

   You smile at his thoughtful ness but then snapped out of it realizing you needed to move on from him. 

"Y–Yup he should be good overall! You should take him back home and have him rest. Make sure he doesn't do any work, you know him."

   Sonic snickers at that, he says okay and says his goodbyes. You waved at him as he runs off to Tails house to put him to rest.

"What should I do now...."

   You sweat drop as you blinked.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸, along the shore of the beautiful waves. Taking in the beauty and coolness of the beach. Your eyes and smile brightens up seeing the beautiful sky but then you looked ahead blinking in surprise to see a line outside of Sonic's shack.

"What the..."

   You raise a brow at this seeing Amy and Knuckles too. You walk towards Knuckles who lightens up seeing you.

"Hey plum!"

"Ahha– Why do you call me that and also Knuckles what's going on?"

   You asked the big echidna, he brings out a flyer and hands it to you.

"Someone is hosting an audition for side kick!"

"Sidekick?"

   You look at the flyer and took it in your grasp. Your eyes slightly widens seeing Sonic with a blank space beside him.

   You became confused that you walked out of the line to read more of the description.

"Sidekick role? Where's Tails?"

   You questioned. So you huffed and walked into his shack with questions that need answers.

"Sonic! What's going on– Uhhhh, Amy?"

You tilt your head at the pink hedgehog who's singing while juggling? Sonic perks up seeing you.

"Oh Y/n, came here to audition?"

"What no I need answers for my questions! Where's Tails? What's going on? And why do you need a sidekick?"

"Ah. I fired Tails."

"WHAT??"

   You exclaimed.

"WHY??"

"It was for the best! I won't let that happen again to him and that's what I promised!"

   You groan at Sonic and facepalm at him.

"Sonic you and Tails always done reckless things as kids that could've led to many heavy injury's and possibly death! How is this any different from your guys adventures?"

   You raise a brow at him.... Sonic just sat there silently as Amy continues juggling and singing.

"OH AND WHEN THE SAINTS!! COME MARCHING INN—EEK!!"

   Amy stopped what she was doing seeing you here. Her face heats up as she grips the balls in her palms like stress balls.

"Y-Y/n what are you doing here??"

"Checking what's going on. Also you got nice voice!"

   You complement her. Amy laughs nervously and rubs her arm feeling flustered hearing one of her cru–I mean friends complement her!

"Eh Amy I think your time is up."

"What do you mean?"

"Bye."

   Sonic was able to push her out, you furrow your brows a bit feeling bad but then Sonic just sighs as he calls in the next person.

"Imma sit here."

   You said sitting on a chair. Watching everyone coming in.

"I think you would be a great sidekick for me, as for you. A companion!"

"T–That's flattering Knuckles."

"No, Knuckles... I'm looking for someone to be my sidekick."

"We'd have to change your name though, I'm thinking Knuckles Junior."

"Hehehe, Knuckles you're funny."

"Ok, last question..."

   Sonic scratches his head, you still sat on a chair beside him reading a book. Your ears twitches hearing a familiar voice from the newcomer. Looking up to see someone wearing a cloak.

"If I'm with you,—"

"Okay Tails what the heck are you doing here."

"A–I'm not Tails!!"

"I can tell, by your two Tails sticking out that cloak, also your voice doesn't really change when you try to talk with a deep voice."

"Ah dang."

   Tails mutters and takes off his cloak with failure... He struggles and pull on the cloak to get it off, you sweat drop seeing the poor fox stumble down.

   Sonic sits up to look over the desk. To see Tails rubbing his head when he fell down.

"Tails!? You cannot be my sidekick!"

   Sonic walks over to him while you put your book down and stand up behind Tails giving him the 'mother' stance— hands on hips with a frowning face.

"All qualified candidates welcome. Best candidate gets the job."

  Tails quotes from the flyer.

"I'm a lock! Unless there's something you're not telling me?"

"Tails, as a friend I'm going to need you to go back to–"

"Fine! But be ready for the tryout of your life."

'Eh.'

   You gaped your mouth open hearing Sonic agreeing.

"What no! Not a fine, he has a head injury and needs rest!"

"I feel fine Y/n, I promise!"

"Oh? Then what did you had for breakfast?"

"Uhhhh a salad?"

"Wrong I fed you pancakes because you can't cook properly yet."

   You grumble looking at him. He sighs at this while Sonic stares at this interaction.

'He's like a mom.'

   Sonic thought seeing your tail swished side to side at Tails who's trying to explain how he can be alright.

   You finally gave up at this then agree he can tryout to be a sidekick again.

   Then you flinched feel a person behind you.

"Hello."

"EGGMAN?!"

   You jumped away from him and get into stance like Tails and Sonic.

"What are you doing here?

   Both you and Sonic said in sync. You guys both just a raise a brow at each other of that connection. You both shrug it off as a 'friends thing'.

"My name is Dr. Eggman, and I'm here about the sidekick position."

   He lifts up a packet, you were dumbfounded like Sonic and Tails.

"Wha– But you're my arch meniscus!"

"That's true, but I could be a valuable asset to your organization, for example I'm a doctor–not a real doctor, a phd but still!"

"You can't be my sidekick–"

"ALL qualified candidates welcome."

   He quotes like Tails, you just shake your head as Sonic talks to them passing the round, made you wonder again why you like him..... Eh.

"Y/n you're coming too, because we need a medic in case one of us gets injured."

"Oh okay."

   You say nervously with a small smile.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻, you stood by Sonic who explained the rules. You put a thumbs up as 'good luck' to them all while he explained.

"Actually, it's whomever."

   A beaver corrects him, you stifle a laugh to see Sonic's annoyed expression.

"The winner will be WHOMEVER makes it through all the unimaginable hardships, and bring me the red flag I planted on top of incredibly dangerous and inaccurately name 'mount– safety'."

   Your head tilts to the side of the name, remembering once your twin sister broke her leg.... You shivered of the memory hearing that bone snap.

   You jump hearing a scream like yell that traveled down the mountain, you let out a quiet gasp and put a hand on your mouth....

   Sonic watches with you as they all go down.

"Uhm Sonic do you think that beaver guy will be okay?"

"Maybe,... Yeah let's go check."

   With no warning he picks you up, making your fur and face poof, you felt your hands trembling a bit and your heart skipping a couple of beats as he runs off. 

   You hold tightly around Sonic's neck as he runs through the forest, that's when you hear that beaver yell again. 

"Sonic drop me off here!"

"Alright."

   He stops and puts you down, you dust your pants but hummed feeling a small touch on your fluff hair.

(He pat your hair when you weren't looking.)

"Eh?"

   You stand up looking around, to see Sonic is gone! You take a deep breath to cool your flustered face then run off to look for the beaver.

   You find him with a sad face and looking up.

"S–Sir are you alright?"

   You asked in a panic.

"No, physical and mentally. I'm just going to lay in a feeder position and weep."

   He was about to lay down but your tail swoops his head underneath for him like a pillow.

"While you do that, I'll check up any injuries okay?"

".... Okay."

   He sighs and does his weeping. You opened your sack bag and take out a kit, your eyes scans for any bruises or anything, so far none. 

   You let out a sigh of relief.

"Hey do you want me to take you back to the village?"

"Yes please."

   And so you did, you carried him by your tail and you walk casually to the village. Humming a tone too, to calm him down.

    𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰, walking towards his house to see if he's there. Only to hear loud clings of a bell and a specific anger from a girl.

"LET, ME, IN!! I DEMAND A CALLBACK!!"

   She huffs, then sees Knuckles who looks gloomy.

"Knuckles what's wrong?"

   He gives out a sad sigh/groan.

"Knuckles junior isn't working out–Oh plum!"

"Hey Knuckles and Amy!"

   You happily called to them, your face smiling in glee seeing your friends while they're hearts swooshed seeing you.

"Y/n! Do you know where Sonic and Tails is at?"

"No? I was looking for them."

   You say shrugging. Knuckle walks towards you and picks you up like a stuff animal and holds you, placing his head into of your fluff hair.

"I'm hungry, and I don't want Meh Burger."

"Well I can cook you guys something at my house. It would be nice to have company."

   You say with a slight red face of the bear hug, Amy did stare in jealousy at Knuckles holding you but soon her mood change hearing you guys going to your house.

"R–Really? Ooh We would like that! Also I'll help you cook i-if you want me too..."

"Great! Let's go before it gets too dark."

   Knuckles happily walks holding you as Amy trails behind with lovey eyes and face of going to your house and cooking beside.

   Gave her many romantic feelings of standing beside you. Side by side as you both cook with smiles—like a couple.

   Knuckles was just enjoying holding you, you were small and soft. Like a fluff ball!

FINALLY OMFG–

Also since I'm starting season one I won't really draw much here! But time to time I'll make a chapter for art :)
