   She smiles brightly with her wrapped arm, you nodded at your mothers example and took mind to it.

   She looks at the clock and smiles softly at the time.

"It's time to go to the village."

"Now?"

   You asked with small red cheeks, she hums and stands up going outside to check on the wagon.

   While you take a deep breathe before following her to the village.

   You both were outside with your sister Honey who's going to help you guys. Before you left you take a glance on the field to see Bingo panting then lightens up seeing Cinnamon waking towards him with water.

   You furrow your brows in guilt of the extra training he's doing.

   Hoping he'll be alright.

"Thank you and come again around Friday!"

   You happily said goodbye to one of the customers who left with a whole bunch of bananas, you watched them go with a happy grin. You chuckled at that.

   You felt a hand on your shoulder and perk up.

"Yo, mom wants to see you and I'll take your place for now."

"Okay?"

   You said then walked towards here your mom is at. She hums a tune as she puts something in a bag then looks up at you.

"Y/n, I want to ask you something."

"Yeah?"

"Can you deliver these to a patient, he's a tired old monkey and I finished his medicine. Think you can do that for me?"

"Y-Yeah I will!"

   You take the bag carefully, your mother smiles at you and pats your fluff head.

"He lives in the middle of town, here's money too in case you want something somewhere."

   She hands you some coins, you thanked her then went your way. Walking through the village there was many mobians doing their own things, selling, buying, eating food, all that and ect.

   You made it to the middle of the village.... Wait. Your mother forgot to tell you where he lives at, which house does he live in.

   You stood there with a twitching eye, you nervously grip the bag tightly as more people pass by you, your tail ruffles and swifts in nervousness.

   That's when you felt a stare, so you turn to see that feeling to see a pink hedgehog girl with a red ribbon bow on the side of her head, holding a small basket of fruits, she tenses up and blushes in embarrassment of being caught.

   While you smiled at her and waved.

"Hey do you know where this was old monkey man lives at? I need to drop off his medicine."

"O-Oh yeah he lives in that house there, the names Amy by the way."

"Y/n!"

   You happily said that made the poor girl a bit flustered again. She smiles a bit at watching you walk off to the man. 

'I JUST MET THE MOST CUTEST GUY IN THIS VILLAGE!!!'

   She squealed in her mind as she fawns over your smile, eyes, and cute fluffy tail. She covers her cheeks with a dazed smile of thinking of seeing you again.

   You finally delivered that medicine to the man and sighed in relief, you look up the sky to see it's still the afternoon by the sun and the sky's colors.

"Yelp I have plenty of time to walk around and–"

"Y/n?"

Spoke too soon.

   You turned around quickly to see Sonic holding a ball in his arms, he stares at for a while making your face burn in embarrassment as your heart beats faster.

"Hey dude! I didn't know you'll be here today!"

"Y-Yeah I didn't know I'll be here too... Well I didn't plan it but I don't mean it in a rude way!"

   You stuttered out making Sonic chuckled. 

"Oh hey do you want to play soccer with me? I don't really have a team, so it would be nice to have another person join."

"Sure! Wait, I'm sorry I was about to look for one of my friends, I feel like he's lonely right now."

"Then we can invite him too! What's his name?"

"Miles Prower, but he goes by Tails. Uhm, please don't make him feel uncomfortable about his appearance though."

   You muttered out as you walk with Sonic beside you, he raises a brow at this.

"What do you mean?"

"You'll see..."

   You hoped Sonic wasn't like the other kids towards Tails, how that'll hurt your poor heart to see someone you like be rude and mean to someone else. 

   You see a yellow fox with focused eyes on a small tin robot like machine. His tails swishes in delight as he finishes.

"Tails!"

"Y/n!"

   You both call out each others names, you grabbed ahold of Sonic's hand as you speed walked towards Tails, you smiled happily at your fox friend.

"Hey Tails, I want you to meet Sonic. Sonic this is Tails!"

"Uhmm, hey you're that speedy kid who zooms around my plane!"

"Oh yeah, wait you own that plane?"

   Tails scratches the back of his head with a small grin.

"Well, not really my parents own it, I just like adding a few things to it."

"Awesome!"

   You see Tails swished his tails in glee of someone admiring his work, you couldn't help by smile at this then you felt a tug.

"I know I'm cool and all but can you let go of my hand please?"

"Eh."

   You panicked in your mind, mentally screaming at yourself for grabbing him! Your face flushed in red as well as your tail poofs up. That made you thought he probably got uncomfortable by this touch so you let go immediately and apologized. Tails watches with confusion.

   Sonic just smirks at your reaction as you calm down and let your face cool too.

"So Tails do you want to play soccer with me and Y/n?"

"Mmmh. Sure! This is the first time someone ever invited me to play!"

    Tails hops up with joy of making new friends, y'all walk to the beach to play. There was a few kids, but some didn't even take a glance at Tails because you're there. 

   And they remember a certain someone that may perhaps threaten them....

"Listen you so called 'cool kids' I know many ways of how to break a bone coming from someone who broke many, so listen up! If you ever hurt that yellow fox with two tails, in any way. I'll shatter your bones like twigs and if you also do the same to MY BROTHER! Who happens to look like me a bit, yeah we're twins hehehe cool yeah? Anyways, hurt him too I'll shatter your bones too because he's a sweetheart, a literally pure boy, even more peaceful than me.... Even my little sister is one of the sweethearts next my twin brother!..."

"Bruh your parents can't do crap! My dad fights and so does my brother, my mother. Oh ho, ho! Your mom will regret ever talking to her once she hears all the bad things you do to innocent people."

   So they would nervously glance at you and Tails, you often see them staring at you so just give them a small smile and wave at them.

   Oh boy they can feel your sisters glare at them, so they slightly wave back too.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. 

"Frick I gotta go back!"

   You exclaimed and was about to run to the village but then you stopped and turned around.

"I'm sorry Tails I can't walk with you today! I can't let my sister make my mom forget me here."

"Why would she do that?"

"I may or may not have accidentally ate her last treat.... So YEAH BYE AND SONIC CAN YOU PLEASE WALK WITH TAILS TODAY??"

"Sure anything for a friend!"

   Damn, your heart for real cracked a by that comment, that word. Friend.

   You let out a small laugh that sounded like wheezing as your eyes lower a bit, your smile just turned into a crooked grin.

"Y-Yeaahh, see ya!"

   You ran off as you fought back small tears, but the good news was that the sand in your eyes can be a good excuse of why your eyes are slightly red!

  You see your mother and your sister standing at the exit of the village.

"Y/n we've been worried for you!"

"Sorry mom, I just played with friends for a while."

"That's fine, alrighty let's get going before it's dark."

   You and Honey nod and trailed behind her. Honey did pointed out how your eyes were red, so you told her it was sand from the beach.

"Damn that sucks."

"Yeah,...."

   If only she knew what sucked to you more.... Too late she knows and looks at you worriedly, she was actually spying on you—it was a request from your mother that she watches over you for a while.

   And so she did, she would snarl or grumble underneath her breathe whenever Sonic became snarky or cocky. 

   She was annoyed and judge your taste. But overall she smiles seeing you enjoying yourself once in a while.

   She's for sure gonna beat Sonic down soon for making you almost cry. But maybe not yet. 

   She can only hope you find someone better, she doesn't care about gender, heck your whole family doesn't care what gender you date! They judge people by personality.

   She wraps a arm around your shoulder.

"Good news, I finally forgive you for eating my last treat. Also guess what I found at the flee market during my break."

   She brings out behind her back a small book called "All about being a hopeless romantic", you just narrow your eyes and looked at her with a confused look.

"Heh?"

"Read it as you get older okay?"

"Uhm yeah sure."

   You deadpanned as you grabbed the small book. Feeling her grin you swooshed your tail around her neck and tried to pull her down.

"ACK–"

"I'm not a hopeless romantic you dumb."

   You said with a blank face and then sighed at her idiotic yell as she lays on the ground.
