   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁, making sure you don't run into Sonic. You stuck beside your mom which she thought was cute, as your sisters they were looking around the village.

"This is the unnamed village?"

   Cinnamon asked, Honey nods as your ears twitched hearing something. You turn around as your hear small whimpering.

   You furrow your brows by it as it sounded like a kid crying.

"Mom can I look around? I'll met you at the flee market."

"Uhm,... Sure just be careful."

   You hummed as you walked away. Heading towards the whimpering from a gap between two houses, you peek in the corner seeing a small fox with two tails and is yellow.

   You frown seeing him cowering as he covers his face with his arms, shaking and trembling. You take a small step towards him.

"Hello?"

   The boy flinches by your voice, he gets more frighten as you walk closer to him.

"What happened? Are you okay?"

   You asked with full concern, you kneel down at him and looked at him, you see two of his tails a bit frizzed up at the tip.

"S-Some kids grabbed my tails,..."

"Oh no!"

   You frown as you look at him feeling guilt for him, the fox wipes a tear out his eyes and sniffles.

"Such a horrible thing, how could they hurt your two tails."

"They think I'm a freak..."

   You got irritated by that, some people had the nerve to tell a kid that and even hurt them! You slightly clench your fist but put on a smile.

"Do you wanna met my mom? She can see if it's injured or not."

"Are you sure? How would she react to my tails."

"My mother is the kindest mobian, I highly doubt she'll treat you horribly seeing your tails."

   You smiled softly at him, he smiles back and sits up.

"Okay."

"Great! What's your name by the way?"

"Miles Prower, but you can me Tails. It's a name they always called me."

"You sure? I don't want to upset you or anything bad!"

"It's fine, I've gotten used to it."

   You and Tails walked out into the open to look for your mom. You held his hand as you guys walked—Tails was calm about this, he liked your warmth of your hand and even your reassuring smile.

   He couldn't help but smile too! It's like it's contagious hehe!

   As you guys walked you hear a familiar laugh, you stop and perk up then looked to the side to see,... 

SONIC??!

"Oh no,.."

"Hm?"

   Tails tilts his head in confusion then looks to see Sonic talking with two girls who looked identical that are giggling, you furrow your brows with small blush feeling something stinging your heart seeing him joke and flirt with the twins.

   You let out a shaky sigh then continue walking, Tails raises a brow at this.

"Why are you avoiding him? Did he do something wrong?"

"N-No it's not that, he didn't do anything wrong. It's just not the right time to see him now."

    You become flustered as your face reddens, you can feel your heart beating fast hearing him chat but it also hurt that he wasn't talking to you. Tails blinks at you then looks back at Sonic who grins at the twins.

   Suddenly Sonic looks and sees you walking towards a stand where your mother is at. 

"Oh I would love to chat more but I gotta see someone right now! See ya Perci and Staci!"

   He sends them a wink.

"See you Sonic."

  They both say at the same time. They walked off with small giggles and whispered at each other, Sonic looks back at you and sees you helping your mom to set up the stand as she checks Tails's tails.

   He speeds towards you and stood behind you was you moved a box.

"Hey–"

"EEK!"

   You jump by his voice, your whole tail puffs up along with your fur, Sonic sweat drops as he smiles nervously.

"Sorry dude, didn't mean to scare you."

"I-It's alright Sonic! You just s-surprised me."

   You stuttered out with a flush face, you felt yourself trembling as you picked up the box. 

   You turn around to see Sonic up close with a smile.

"I didn't know you were here."

"I'm just here for my mother–Well that's the only reason–Not like I-I didn't thought of seeing you again—I mean,.... Imma stop talking now."

   Your whole brain completely shut down, your whole face felt hot and your heart was shouting out of your chest. Your stuttering mess seemed to make Sonic chuckle.

   That made your blushing mess worse. You take a deep breathe and try to maintain your face and heart.

"What brings you here?"

"Oh nothing I just wanted to stop by and say hi! I hope to see around more, you're kinda awesome dude coming from an awesome guy~!"

"Hehe, is that so?"

   You did a love sick giggle with faint pink cheeks, your mind made you snap back to reality as you realized what you're doing.

"O-Oh uhm I'm flattered that you think I'm kinda awesome. I-I hope to see you again too!"

   Sonic grins then runs away leaving some wind, you shut your eyes then slowly open them letting out a soft sigh lovingly.

'Sonic...'

"Y/n help me PLEASE!!"

   You snapped out of your thoughts then turn to see Honey gritting her teeth as she tries to pick a huge box, you groan and helped her.

   You guys were able to set up the stand then you went to your mom and Tails to check up on them.

"Helloo!"

"Hey Y/n, your friend Tails is alright. It's just a little squished by grip, but he should be fine."

   You nod with a smile as you see Tails eating a peach. Cinnamon talked to customers while Honey sat down and relax. 

"That's good Tails! How's the fruit?"

"Good! I never tasted a peach this good!"

   Your mom smiles and pats his head.

"That's great. Anyways Y/n who's that boy you were taking to?"

"Ah, his name is Sonic."

   She nods.

"A friend of yours?"

"Well kinda, we met before."

"Awww how cute~"

   You hear your sister say, you growl as you look at her with a tic mark.

"Shut up."

"What??"

"It's kinda obvious that you like him."

She smirks deviously seeing your reaction.

Lmao sorry if it's short! Also this may be early to ask but can y'all come up with pick up lines or flirty lines for Sonic bc I need them for the future chapters 😭
