𝑊ℎ𝑒𝑛, ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑠 𝑚𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑦!!

𝐼, 𝐼 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑏𝑜𝑑𝑦~

𝟞. 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆, you did ask to make treats and so you did!

   Humming a small tune with happiness as you walked down your trail to the beach, suddenly your ears twitch hearing something snap.

   You stopped as you look to the side of where the sound was from, with a gulp you clench your basket of treats, your tail slightly twitches when you're nervous.

   Then you jumped when.....

   A bunny jumps out the bush, looks up at you with its cutesy eyes then hops off to the other side.

   You sigh with relief that nothing scary or intense came out. Getting rid of your scared thoughts you continue walking down while humming your tune again.

   Unaware of something....

   A black and red hedgehog holds the bandit down as he watches you skip down the trail then to the shores, he grumbles of how careless you are and unaware of what was about to happen.

   He was walking around trying to blow off some steam until a bandit was about to jump on you, you're lucky he came and beat the bandit up.

   The bandit groans in pain as he was knocked out by a hard punch the hedgehog gave to him.

   The hedgehog drags the bandit to the nearest tall tree and hang him up in a way to show superiority and dominance to show this pathetic bandit who he has to go through if he wants to mess you.

"Why do I even care if this witty squirrel gets hurt."

   He says to himself as he tightens the rope, then dust his hands as he walks away with his still stern look.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿.

   Then instantly jumped by booming music.

   You wince for your ear drums as you walked over. Feeling the whole land shake too made you flabbergasted, you griped the handle of your basket more. 

   The music turned off. Making you sigh again then you almost tripped, on shattered glass? You squeak as you gain balance and get up. 

   You walk up to put your basket down, you frown seeing Sonic slack off as he snores on the chair. Amy just grumbles then turns around and eeks seeing you.

"Y/n you're here!"

   She grins happily, finally seeing someone who'll help things work. You always have, you've always helped Amy and listened to Amy that makes her feel better seeing someone helping her out.

"Hey Amy."

"Did you bring the treats?"

"Yup, and I made your guys favorites too! I hope they'll be enough."

"Oh I'm sure they're enough."

   Amy says with lovey dovey eyes with faint blush, she starts to admire your thoughtfulness, your generosity, and many amazing things about you that makes her more delighted that you're here.

   She perks up remembering something then coughs out her voice to look at Knuckles.

"Knuckles are my grilled pheasants ready?"

"Not now Amy I'm busy.... 'Oh! Please don't cook me nipples!' 'Today turned out a lot different than I except.'"

   You wanted to laugh but didn't.

"Sticks, Y/n, sometimes I don't know why I go out my way to make things nice for theses guys."

"Hey it's alright Amy, they'll be up again once we start this par—?"

"You deserve better."

   A voice interrupt you. Look behind Amy to see Eggman standing at the entrance of Sonics shack.

"I mean, look at this table! It should be hanging in a museum."

   Eggman complements Amys decoration? Sticks jumps over the table and welds up broken shell that she hit against the ground.

   You stood there awkwardly by Amy with confusion.

"Just give me the signal Amy and Y/n, and I'll clam him."

"Don't let the fact that I constantly tried to destroy you to believe that I'm here to destroy you! I just want hire Amy to redo my lair."

   Eggman explains. The others laugh at this thinking of it as a scheme or joke while Amy smiles brightly feeling honored that she's going to be hired. You still stood there awkwardly and a blank face as you progress what he said.

"C'mon Amy you're buying this?"

"Is it so hard to believe that Eggman might actually respect MY talents!? Besides Y/n."

"Wha—what does have to do with me?"

   You sweat dropped when you muttered that.

"Well, yeah.... Wait that came out wrong."

   You wanted to face palm at Sonic but frowned more at his wording. Amy furrow her brows down angrily before looking back at Eggman.

"I accept!"

"Uhmm, Amy?"

   You flinched when she grabs your hand and walks towards Eggman with you. Your face slightly blush of the touch, as others who unknowingly glared at the hands together—even a blue hedgehog didn't like the touch Amy had on his 'friend'.

"Don't go with Egg-breathe!"

"You can't trust him! He's evil!"

"WE!! Can take care of ourselves."

"When did I agree with this!?"

   You questioned more when you were dragged with Amy. With confusion mixed on your face while embarrassment too. 

"Please just come with me. Can he come too?"

"Splendid! The more the merrier! My lair awaits."

   Eggman cheers then leads you both to his Egg-mobile.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿, you feel like this was a bad idea for Amy to be here.

"So where do you want to start?"

"You have total creative freedom. Make this lair so fantastic, that they'll want to put it on the cover! And then I'll say "No"!"

   He laughs evilly at that making you questionable of his humor. Amy was confused as she stops and stands in front of him.

"Why?"

   You both sync with each other.

"Sorry. Old habits are hard to break."

He rubs his mustache. You sweat drop at that then moved closer to Amy with suspicion of the mad evil man.

  𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿, you've been cleaning his lair by scrubbing the walls, dusting his shelves, and even cleaning his furniture!

   You felt like you're cleaning a whole mansion! While you did that Amy has been redecorating Eggmans lair with many themes with her compassion.

   You huffed tiredly as you dusted off the last dust on his counter. Your ears lean towards noises of small music.

"Hm?"

   You go towards it and peek behind a door to see beaming lasers and petals on the floor. You walk up beside Amy with wide eyes of something up on the ceiling...

"The rose petals and laser light show add a certain regal flair, but  do we really need... That?"

   Eggman points up at Orbot and Cubot flying with angel wings on the back as they circled around. That's what you were looking at with wide eyes.

"I've never felt so free!"

   Cubot says with glee. You smiled at the positivity before looking at Amy with your still smile.

"Amy you really out did yourself, this is cool!"

"Really? I thought like Eggman that this might be too much I-uhm I'm glad you like it too."

   Amy stutters out by your praise with pink cheeks like her fur. Eggman saw the interaction unfold.

'That fluff ball is getting more girls than me when I was his age.'

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀—𝗘𝗴𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝘆, all stood at the entrance of the hallway to watch Eggmans henchmen toss rose petals on the floor to add more of a 'appealing' look for the floor.

   You guys all perk up hearing a doorbell sound ring.

"It's him!"

   Eggman says. The door opens revealing the mobian who walks in with a unfazed look.

"Hellooooo! What a surprise!"

   Eggman says out to greet him. But he was only ignored that made him sulk over that.

   You felt nervous as you see him inspecting the whole lair and it's not even your lair! You watched the others get nervous too when he walks around with silence.

   He saw the soaring robot henchmen on the ceiling, the laser light show beaming, he slide his finger on a counter where you dusted, then he walks into another room where the curtains were tartan pattern ones.

   Then he looks at a wall where the unicorn painting was held.

"He hates it. I knew those unicorns were too much."

   Eggman whispers angrily at Amy. You deadpanned at him.

"I–I can explain. The one to blame—"

"I love it."

"—iss me."

   Eggman goes in front of you guys. Your mouth gaped open in shock and distraught. Honestly you weren't surprised too knowing him. You grumble with Amy as Eggman rambles how he done it.

"WHAT? It was my DESIGN!!

"Under my supervision."

"AND MY EXECUTION!"

"With MY direction."

"I cleaned, does that count?"

   You said but no one answered. You huffed seeing Eggmans and Amy's rivalry growing about this.

"I just have one note."

"A 40-hour workweek for the cherubs?

   Orbot came down before Eggman grabs him and sling shots him back up in the air that made a crash on the ceiling. You winced at that.

"Danger up the entryway a little and who knows, you might make the cover. I'll be back tomorrow with the photographer."

   He walks out as the door closes behind him.

"Did you hear that? The cover!"

"Great. Have fun "supervising" yourself! We're outta here."

   Amy grabs your wrist and tugs you to go with her which you obey. 

   You guys almost made it to the exit but then a trap catches you guys. You eek with Amy by it and also when you almost bumped into her.

"Really?"

"What did you expect? I'm a supervillain! Now once you're finished "dangering up" the entryway to my lab. I want to up it in an evil screening room."

   Amy's eyes widens at the requests while you have him a slight scowl at him.

"Oh cheer up! At least I appreciate you unlike your so-called friends.... Actually it's half of them because of Y/n but you get the point."

   You frowned when Amy saddens at the fact. Her grip around your wrist loosens by her sadness as she looks down at the floor.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗴𝗲, your tail scuffs beside away from the laser beams. 

   You furrow your brows when you glanced at Amy seeing her down. Your tails wraps around her and pulls her.

"It's alright Amy, I'm sure our friends do appreciate you they just have.... A funny way or a rude way to do it. You know them being the chaotic friends they are."

".... Yeah, I guess you're right."

"I'm also sure they're coming to save us now! After all this you can help me redecorate my house, I've been wanting to add more furniture in it."

"Really?! Oh I'll be happy to help you! Anything for you–"

   Amy pauses at her excitement with an embarrassing look of a red face. You tilt your head at her reaction but shrugged it off. 

   Amy looks away but smiles softly at your comforting, stroking your tail and she leans on you. You stiffened a bit but smiled seeing how comfortable she is.

   Your nose scrunched up smelling an odorous scent.

"Eww, what is that smell?"

"I don't know–"

   You were cut off by a loud crash. You both jumped by it and satten up seeing your friends! 

   They all stood at the whole they made with green stuff on them, you ick at the smell from them that smelt like the sewer?

"It's us! We snacked in through a sewer pipe."

   Knuckle explains.

"I was wondering how long it would take for you guys to miss us."

"We may have a hard time saying it Amy, but..... Well you know."

"Yeah, I know."

"You gotta work on your apologizing."

   You giggled at him. Tail comes running towards the cage and deactivate it. You and Amy walk finally out after being cramp in there for a while.

(You actually moved far from Amy so she can have space.)

"There's no way we're going back out the way we came in. Care to do the honors?"

   Sonic hands Amy her hammer. You smiled warmly at the friendship and yet your heart weeps at how Sonic looks at Amy, wishing he looked at you too like that but you remembered you're moving on. Or at least trying to.

   Your mind snap out of your sad thoughts when Tails tugs your arm.

"We gotta go and beat Eggman!"

"H-Huh? Oh yeah I'm coming, I'm coming."

   You smiled nervously then followed your group of friends to defeat Dr. Eggman.

   𝗔𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿, Eggman jumped from his seat by it and sees you guys standing at the entrance of the door in fighting stances.

"Sorry about the door. Oh, me and Y/n. We quit."

"No one quits my employ unless I dismantle them first!"

"IT'S TRUE!!"

   You felt for Cubot as he's just scattered robot parts on the floor. Eggman presses a button that brought his bots, you gulped and narrow your eyes at your opponents.

"After you~"

   Sonic said to Amy. Amy happily takes it and runs forward, while you guys follow behind her.

   A bee bot flys straight at you, you dodge swiftly by jumping over it, you slide across the floor and flip behind a crab bot that was about to pinch you. 

   In a fighting position your eyes scans the bots that go towards you—a bee bot and some crab bots. Your eyes look at a curtain that fell, grabbing it quickly a bot on wheels speeds towards you, with a smirk you started to treat it like a bull—using the curtain as a cape and letting it go in it. You stomp on the bot then swing it behind your back.

   The bots came after you, the closer they got you gripped on the curtain with a dead bot in it you swang it at them, a small spin as you hit all their sides making them explode. 

   Another two came after you and you growled throwing the dead bots body in the curtain at them. Your throw was rather hard and impressive for your small body. They both exploded though.

   You smirked and dusted your hands.

"Wow."

   You look behind with a raise brow to see your friends staring at you with shock looks.

"I never knew you were that strong!"

   Tails exclaims for them. You weren't surprise either. You've never really shown much strength in the team as you're just a medic and is busy caring for the villagers on the sidelines.

"Hehe, my dad made me do some training..."

'Yeah SOME.'

   You thought of your father when he made you do 20 push-ups per day. 

   Your attention goes back to Eggman, looking at him with your friends he starts to run away before he stops at something?

"I–.... Um.... You're early!"

   Eggman says out as a lady walks out. She scans the disastrous scene while you guys stood there.

"Apparently."

   She looks with a unamused face.

"You're fired."

   She tells the guy and walks out. You look at the guy with a sympathetic look for him, feeling bad for him. 

   Eggman walks out with her as he pleases her for at least his lair to be in something! You wanted to laugh or even chuckle at him for karma like always but you felt like that's out of place for you.

"Would've been nice to see my designs in a magazine. Oh well, maybe someday.."

"It's fine Amy, he'll probably just tire you out to make more designs for him."

"Yeah you're right."

   Amy smiles fondly at your reassurance.

"I can't guarantee you a magazine spreed, but I do know a shack you could redecorate."

   That statement seemed to make Amy more happy. You grin as you all walk out with Amy saying how she's been wanting to redecorate the shack, you hear them talking about the whole redecorating thing as you felt more bitterness in you.

   You hate that feeling so much... But you didn't notice a pink girls hand lingering near yours in hopes she might hold it.

   But she jumped when Knuckle picks you up and hugs you as he says how he was sad that you probably left them.

"I thought you abandoned us! I felt really sad that you might've."

"Oh Knux I would never. You're my friends, it'll take a whole world ending to ditch you guys."

   You pay his head with a flush look of you sitting on his shoulders. Knuckles smiles happily as he walks out with you.

   While others stare with up smiles but with jealousy in them.

Sorry if the fight scene doesn't describe it too well 💀 I can't do fight scenes lmfao
