𝟝. 𝗠𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀𝘆

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀, you were in shock and fearful of what's happening as people all scattered and run.

   You rub your arm nervously as you gulped.

"Meteors are shooting stars, we shouldn't be running! We should be making wishes!"

   Amy said excitedly, your facial expression remains the same as you look at her.

"I wish for a pony."

"And I wish we/you take cover."

   Both you and Sonic said at the same time. Sonic grabs her as you guys all run down the stairs from a meteor that crashes at your guys spot, you guys hid underneath a building. 

   You did take a small glance at Sonic and Amy to see how close they are, making you look away slowly to look at the chaos feeling a bit heart broken. 

   You peek behind a pillar of the building to search for any injured villagers.

"Should I use my meteor defense system?"

"You have a meteor defense system?"

   You were quit shocked too. You perk up hearing a small yell, you turn to see a villager with a BURNING ARM??

"STICKS TAKE COVER FOR ME OKAY, THANKS BYE!!"

"Wait Y/N!"

   Your friends call out your name as you run back out. You dodged a small meteor that crashed beside you and another. Sticks watches you and gets her defense ready and hit away a big meteor that was about to hit where you were at.

   You made it to the villager and hurried to grab out a bottle of water and pour it, the fire was gone but their warm was basically burnt now.

   You frown as the villager holds in tears as you do your medical work, trying to talk to them about their weekend before this, patting down a rag to get off the blood, then bandages it up. You rub their arm to ease the pain and bring them small comfort as your tail wraps around them.

"There how does it feel now?"

"I–It hurts but not that much."

"Good! Please come by to my house for check ups on your wound okay?"

   You gave them a smile and soft eyes, blooming their day automatically as they calmed down.

"Okay..."

   Your friends all started cleaning up the village but they would take small glances at you as you helped the villager up and wonder around to check up on others.

'Y/n is so nice,'—Tails who's happy to be your friend and likes your kindness you have.

'SUCH A GOOD PERSON!! OOOH WHAT A KIND HEARTED PERSON!!'—Amy who's fawning over you more and is about to cry.

'I wonder if plum can heal my injuries! Wait I don't have none...'—Knuckles who tripped over a pile of rocks that a meteor left behind.

'He's doing the THING AGAIN!!'—Sticks who apparently hates how kind he can be because he makes her feel something (Inosuke kinnie much??🤨).

'He's so cool and a life saver!'—Sonic admires you a little too much deep down.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀'𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, you were worn out helping injured civilians as you read a book between Amy and Knuckles.

   Your tail was used as a lap cushion by Amy, you didn't mind with a smile while she enjoyed every minute being close to you.

   That's when you guys look up at Sticks who walks in.

"Someone left this at my house."

"Yeah... The mail man, it's a letter?"

   Sonic bluntly says. You sweat drop at Sticks who sniffs it. 

"A letter huh? I don't know, paper folded by itself! What's it hiding? What's it HIDING??"

   Amy grabs it and opens you. You peek to the side of her shoulder and read it too in your mind, you and Amy both lightly gasped after you guys read it.

"Sticks, you've been nominated for an awardee award!"

"What kind of name is that?"

"They really need a better name for that thing."

   You nodded at Tails statement with a small hum. Knuckles walks over too with an excited grin.

"Oh let me see!..."

   You chuckled at his silliness as he grabs glasses out too.

".... Oh wait I can't read."

"Oh Knuckles.."

   You shake your head at his stupidity but stilled nevertheless because he does have a big heart.

"Gimme that."

   Sonic grabs the letter next.

"In honor of saving our village, the mayor cordially invites you to the Awardies... Huh conveniently, you can also bring your four closest pals."

   You see everyone looking at Sticks excitedly but Sonic broke it by saying something else.

"Also Y/n is invited too, I just forgot to send out his letter and I think he might be with you now."

"Eh why—...."

   You paused to look at comedy Chimp who just randomly spawned next to Sonic... Blinking at him with confusion. 

"Sorry comedy Chimp."

   Sonic says, Comedy Chimp slumps as he walks out. You wave goodbye to him when he walks out the door. Sonic coughs out for the attention.

"Now where was I?—" He coughs out "The Awardies will be at the . You'll dine on—Ooh. Elegant food and mingle with elegant guests. After which the Awardy Award will be awarded to the winner. Which could be you! Or Y/n."

   You furrow your brows feel nervous. Sticks was too.

"I can't make it."

"What?! Why not?"

   Amy said in surprised.

"Well you know, I'm slammed this week! See."

   She brought out a leaf book. The flips through pages as she talks out about her schedule, you look down at the floor thinking about the event.

   While Sticks was talking what seemed to make both hedgehogs perk at some during her taking about her schedule.

"Me and Y/n going and picking out berries, Saturday."

'Her and Y/n?'

   They both thought. She finishes snapping Amy out of her thought of something.

"I'm booked solid!"

"Oh well what about you Y/n?"

   Amy asked towards to you, you flinch by her sudden voice as you were deep in thought.

"Uhmm fancy folk yeah? I'm not sure.. I don't even know why I'm invited!?"

   You say rubbing the back of your head.

"This will the honor of a lifetime!"

"Yeah! You might even win a shiny trophy, you love shiinnyy thiingss."

   Tails say with dazzle hands, you do know Sticks liking towards shiny things, that's how you guys met! When you were small, your family's wagon got stuck by too much fruits and more,Sticks tried to grab a shiny gift you bought and saved for Sonic.

   She tried to grab it but you saw her, she was skeptical at first when you offered her many fruits. She though took the fruits and you saw how much she liked the shiny gift, you remember feeling a bit heartbroken when you gave it to her. After that she would walk beside you secretly as you gave her fruits whenever you guys have too much!

   You did gush over the cute memory meeting her. 

"I do love shiny thingss—Hmph, nope, nah-Huh!"

   She huffed. Amy raises a brow with a small smirk seeing you guys get a bit nervous of the event.

"Sticks, Y/n, are you afraid to go?"

"Yes I very am!"

"Afraid? Nooo,.."

   You confront it while Sticks denies it. You had a small nervous smile as your tail gets hold by your grasp, whenever you get nervous you hold your fluffy tail.

   You listen to Sticks denies the she gave up and said a little.

"Sticks and Y/n, there's nothing to fear."

"Yes there is, I'm a nervous wreck around people who aren't even my patients and I still don't know why I'm invited!!"

   You say out loud with small crocodile tears. Knuckles just pats your fluff head in comfort.

"Look at me. I'm a feral badger! I'll embarrass myself!"

"Who cares what people think?"

"Yeah, everyone at these parties are a wind bag anyway."

   Both Sonic and Knuckles say to comfort you guys? You didn't know at this point. You did feel better seeing them joking around, you stifle a laugh feeling your nervous system to go down.

"Don't worry, you guys will be fine. I'll teach you how to be a lady."

   Amy points at Sticks.

   You look at the clock with slight wide eyes to see what time it is.

"I gotta go! I have patients later on, I'll try and come by to check how things are going!"

   You smiled as you almost rushed out the door.

"Hey Y/n try and be here for tomorrow afternoon!"

   Amy calls out, you wave behind as you run out.

"YUP! BYEEeeee—"

   Your voice trails off as you run to your house. Amy chuckles at your cute antics.

"If you don't do the training with Sticks, Y/n can do it because he's going to be at the Awardee Awards."

"Okay... Also how does he not know why he's not invited? Didn't he like, save and healed half of the village here?"

   Sonic says out.

"Yup."

"Agree."

"The poor squirrel needs to give himself credit for once in a while."

   The Whole gang agrees.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗺𝘆'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴! You did felt nervous as you knocked on the door.

   It opens and Amy smiles brightly at you.

"Y/n you made it!"

"Hehe, yeah I left after treating one of my patients."

   You walk in to see Sonic and Sticks sitting on Amy's couches.

"Alright let's start with walking down after the introduction, Sticks and Sonic can go first."

   You and Amy stood beside each other, you felt hurt more seeing Sonic linking arms with Sticks, but you kept reminding yourself you're moving on and this is for training. Amy brings out a stop watch.

"And go!"

   She clicks it. You watched them walk up the bridge then a pop up was a cardboard cut out of  fancy folk.

"This is my make consort... And if you don't like him, I'll knock you out."

   You smile sweetly at Sticks standing up for Sonic. Amy shakes her head.

"No Sticks, lady's don't fight."

   You did frown a bit.

"Alright let's try with Y/n and Sticks."

   Amy calls out, the cut out goes down. Oh gosh you felt your heart beating as you walk over to Sticks and traded places with Sonic. 

   Your arms linked with each other, making you guys nervous. You've never done this with a girl, as for Sticks was panicking with confused feelings.

   Amy tried her best to not show any jealousy while Sonic stared deeply at the link arms feeling another aching pain in his chest.

"Okaayy, and go!"

   You walk in a steady pace, placing a smile as a cut out comes up again. 

"Hello nice to meet you, please meet one of my friends Sticks."

   Sticks didn't know what to say as she became sweaty. Your tail slightly nudges her to speak.

"My name is Sticks yes, this is Y/n my male consort.... Don't like him I'll—"

"–She'll be deeply offended, I don't really mind if you don't like me or not. Hmm Sticks?"

   You look at her with a small and soft smile. You may have cut her off but she couldn't help but blush at your smile, heck even how close you guys are.

"Y–Yes I'll be deeply offended!"

   She huffed out. You rub her hand in comfort as you had a small smile...

   Amy and Sonic?...

"W–Wow that was really good!?"

   Amy said with shock, Sonic eyes were widened. They were flabbergasted, they never seen Sticks act to behaved, your calming aura must be the reason! 

   Amy was a bit jealous of the badger, wishing it was her to link arms with Y/n...

   Sonic narrows his eyes avoiding the ache again.

    𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆, you were in awestruck. Leaning on your tail toward to watch him play more.

   Amy was instructing Sticks and Sonic as they danced. It didn't hurt you no more when you see them dancing, because you felt like you literally fell in love with Knuckles piano skills.

(Bro can play piano but can't read 💀??? Slay ig.)

   You jump by a thud. You look to see Tails and Sonic who stumble down with the background thing down.

"Yeah I think she's ready."

"No, no. It's Y/n turn now remember? We're taking turns."

"O–Oh?"

   You blush a bit by the nervousness, you lean off your tail as you watched Sonic and Sticks stand up.

   You walk over taking a deep breath, motioning Sticks to place her hands on your, she did so...

Poof'

   Your fur slightly poof of the amount of nervousnesses you were feeling. You guys took a step at a time, soon gotten use to each others touches.

   You soon calmed down while Sticks... Was debating so hard if she likes this or not, she doesn't like how her heart is beating so fast, she doesn't like how her palms are getting sweaty, but some of her liked being close to you. 

   Boom you guys were done, you for real shoved yourself away with a flush look.

"IIIIMMMM NOT DOING THAT AGAIN—"

   You covered your face feel so much heat and blush. Sticks was dumbfounded as she blinks.

"Well, I think we have a match. Y/n and Sticks!"

"EH??"

   You say with a  still flush face.

"W—Why not that I'm being rude or anything!"

"Sticks seems more calm and less feral around you!"

   You look back at Sticks who stood protectively.

"WHAT NO??............. I think."

   You just wanted to rot in a hole forever, you never held or danced with a girl! Never in your life, sounds sad yeah but that's a life or someone who's respect to woman.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁, you wore a button up blue shirt that was opened, revealing your fur chest. You stood beside Sticks looking down at the people who were fancy. 

   You see Amy introducing you guys to the folks.

"You ready Sticks?"

"No, I'm already regretting this."

"Don't worry! Soon this will be all over and we can go back home and do our daily lives."

   You gave her a soft smile. She smiles back weakly.

"Yeah..."

   After the introduction, you offer your arm to her, she grabs ahold of it and walks down with you. She think she likes this, feeling your warmth and being close to you, she felt her heat calming down as she felt safe with you... I mean, she always felt safe with you.

   You guys made it down and you let her go of your arm. Walks walks towards you guys wearing a pretty dress.

"Go ahead, you can do it! Start with a compliment."

   Amy cheered Sticks. She walks off towards the fancy folk, you silently cheered for her beside Amy who huffs and places a hand on her cheek.

"Oowhhh I hope she doesn't screw up..."

"I'm sure she'll be alright, oh yeah Amy you look nice tonight."

   You look at her with a smile, she feels her heart flutter and her face getting warm.

"R–Really? Well I kinda rushed."

"Really I couldn't tell!"

   You beamed at her, she giggles softly looking away with small red cheeks. You guys look to Sticks to see her already making the fancy folk uncomfortable. Amy puts her hand underneath her mouth as she winces at the interaction.

"Oh boy,..."

   You sigh already feeling like this will be a long night....

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝘆, Sticks drinking a drink and you always glance at it because how flimsy her grip looked on it.

"I just want to say thank you for comforting me."

"It's no problem! Happy to hear you're doing alright."

   You smiled at him. That's when you see the grip on Sticks drink slightly tips, you in a instinct out your on top of her and used your other one to hold the other side of it. It's a good thing you're beside her!

   You guys looked like you're both holding hands or holding something together!

"Have a wonderful night!"

   You say goodbye to him. Stickers became red and her mind pounders with many thoughts of your movements.

'Is he controlled by aliens! DID THE GOVERNMENT HACKED HIS MIND!??'

"Sticks be careful holding your drink. If I didn't get it in time you would've accidentally spilt this in him."

   You scolded her. Sticks just mutters with a nod and faint red cheeks, Amy watched it all and clench her purse in jealousy. You take her drink and told Sticks you'll make sure to hold it for her.

   Sticks did thanked you and walks off with a small tail wag and she goes and compliments fancy folk.

   You sigh slouching your shoulders.

"I wanna go home.."

   You whined. Your tail curls around your legs, Amy looks at you with worry.

"Oh my Y/n."

"Hehe I'm alright still! I'm here to help out yeah?"

   You look up at her with a closed eye smile. She eeps with blush, the one face she always fawns over. You both perk up by the voice of the mayor.

   You offered her your arm, who she happily takes with a loving smile. 

   She may or may have slightly nuzzled your shoulder in affection.

   You guys stand and listen, you didn't completely understand it as you were dumbfounded like Amy and the rest.

"Let's sit down shall we?"

   She nods. You guys all sat at a table a different table watching Sticks. You felt nervous for her.

"Gahh I can't look."

   You say lowering your head, Amy and Sonic sympathizes you with worried looks. Then you heard a familiar voice.

"Excuse me, pardon me, pardon me, evil genius coming through."

   It was Eggman! You stare with wide eyes and a raise brow at him.

"Eggman!? How did you–"

"Get nominated? Let's just say I had a loyal base of,... Supporters."

   You blink at him and groan feeling like crumbling down.

"This is a night."

   You just wanted to go home already.

"Is it too late to go home?"

"Yes actually."

   You wanted to slam your head against the table but you didn't. You felt a bit impatient to stay, you wanted to leave so bad. Sonic can see it, your worried eyes filled with paranoid, your tail curling up and tucked underneath your chair, you kept tapping your finger tips too.

"Hey dude don't worry, soon this whole dinner will be over."

   Sonic said with a calming voice, you just take a deep breath and smile softly at him.

"I hope..."

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are here to announce this years winner!"

   You sit up and looked at the mayor, he opens up the letter and starts to read.

"And the Awardee goes to..."

  Everyone was at their edge of their seats. You tap your finger tips feeling so eery to hear.

"Leroy the Turtle!"

"YES!"

   The turtle cheers, you sigh out then jumped by a loud thud. You look to see one of Eggmans bots. You then sweat drop as it just shoots out letters.

"This is not quite as menacing I as hoped... Minions, ATTACK!!"

   He calls out, so many droids of bee bots come out. You jumped off your seat and helped the folks out. Trying not to get involved with the battle, a bee bot swoops down at you, you jumped up causing it to crash in a wall, you dodged another then something trapped you.

"HUH??"

   You panicked as you rolled in the ball, you see the others except Sticks in those balls too.

"Sticks, we could really use some help here.."

   Tails calls out. You panicked more as she dodges the lasers barely! You didn't have any weapons on you, you didn't had the strength either... You then flinched when the ball thing disables.

   You almost screamed but you were caught by Sticks! Dang she was hella strong as she just held you in bridal style and ran with you bridal style.

"MY SHINY!"

   She said with a grin. You just smile nervously at her and pat her head.

"Good job Sticks!"

   You cheered, she puts you down and then launches at Eggman, but she actually disabled the last ball. You turn to Sonic and Amy, seeing him catching her and placing her down nicely... 

   You furrow your brows with a small sigh.

'Gee they already look like a couple...'

   You thought sadly. Rubbing your arm as you stood at the sidelines of the heroes. Applauding to them silently.

   Eggman leaves taking the L. You walk over to them.

"Good job guys! Ouch."

   You wince at a small pain in your shoulder. You rub it and tried to play it off. 

"Y/n are you okay?!"

   Amy panics. You nod at her.

"Yeah I'm fine don't worry!"

   You smiled at her the you look at Sticks with a soft smile.

"You did well Sticks, I'm proud of you!"

   You gave her a closed eye smile. Praise? Her tail wagged a bit. She then growls.

"Stop trying to CONTROL MY MIND!!"

"Eh what?"

   You tilt your head. She became a little feral but you shrugged, not really paying attention and let out a yawn. 

"Oh yea forget today was a special day too! Another award that goes to Y/n the squirrel."

"Eh?"

   Your eyes widens, the mayor walks towards you and hands you an award that said '#1 Best mobian'.

"Oh here's another, and another, and one more, oh cant forget about this one!"

  He hands in multiple awards, you grabbed every last one of them with a gaped mouth and wide eyes..

'#1 best care taker'

'#1 Medic'

'#1 Pure and fantastic person'

'#1 kind hearted person'

'#1 Best person here'

   Your friends even were surprised too but not surprised at the same time.

"W–What da!? Is this all for me??"

"Oh yes you're just simply the best person here."

   You were hella confused and struggled to hold them.

"Here let me help–"

"Oh no Sonic, you're far too clumsy. Lemme see plum."

"Uhhh okay?"

   You handed half, or at least tried. He grabbed all of it to flex and brag. You giggled at his actions while Sonic groans and rolls his eyes.

   Your nose then scrunches smelling something gross..... Looking behind you to see Amy and Sticks in a dumpster!?
