Things flowed smoothly from there until people started getting up to leave. Of course Izuku being the leader and having a tendency to overwork himself, he stayed behind to work on some of the dances.
Saving Harmony also started leaving, soon; much to the greenet's chest butterflies, it was only him and Shoto left.
Hey Todoroki..? He looked over at him curiously. Shoto's playing gradually slowed down, it seemed like he was deciding whether he wanted to talk to the greenet, though he turned his face to look at Izuku eventually.
"Is this all ya do?" It sounded slightly ruder than he intended, "Like- Uh- dontcha go out and have fun?"
In truth, he was trying to invite him to hang out, but didn't know how to word it, being the awkward little bean he was.
Shoto stared blankly up at him, hands resting on his lap. He simply shook his head.
"Well that's boring-" He grinned at him at the opening, "Why don't I show you how to have a little fun~?"
Eyes widening at the suggestion, his cheeks faded pink, the shaking of his head became a little more vigorous.
Izuku giggled.
"So you do have a dirty mind~" He teased, starting to walk over to him, "Its not like I was suggesting something so unholy~"
'W e r e y o u ?' His mind doubted but of course he didn't voice it.
Shoto placed his hand in his face in despair, standing up. The air around him grew just a little somber with what the haflie looked to have a headache. Without a word, his footsteps echoed towards the door, closing it so quietly it was like Izuku had been talking to a ghost.
Izuku snorted, almost jumping when his phone started ringing loudly.
"heY YOU WANNA GO TO THE BAR!?" It was on speaker phone to his group, Denki yelling out this over all the giggling in the background.
He sighed, though a lazy smile graced his lips, "Sure."
BPU came to pick him up, they all rolled off to a more expensive bar with more drinks and such. Mainly only rich people and celebrities came here so they didnt stand out too much. Especially as the already widely known gremlin group, it was almost weird if they weren't there.
Erijiro busted through the doors with a wide grin, his other demon friends flanking the place from behind him. This bar was not only a bar, it was basically a night club. A stage was the main attraction, most people get pretty... rowdy.. here, though with this K-pop group things were even more insane. The stripper pole was.. widely used., fog machines floated around making the lights pop compared to the darker walls. This theme was very similar to their concerts.
Drinks were made quickly, all the bar tenders in town knew how much they drank as a group... well Izuku himself could down a whole alcohol shelf and only be tipsy.
The party got insane quickly, everyone cheering as they saw their favorite rough houses, "WASSSA PEOPLE?"
Izuku smirked to himself, though making a b-line for the bar.
And his group followed. Though, it only took a few drinks down the hatch for everyone (excluding Izuku) they were already getting tipsy. The crowd quickly started cheering for them to dance, and as the drunken six of them grinned and got up on stage, they ushered a sober Izuku up.
Wow, one ofthe most gremlin person was the only sober person.
But oh-
More blackmail.
The crowd had already seen the post from Mina, so they knew they were collabing with Saving Harmony. Despite begging for a sneak peek of the new dance, Izuku grinned sadistically, "Nah- lets leave that for later~"
It was a small disappointment but as the dj played one of their most suggestive songs, the crowd hyped up in an instant.
"Le's start!!" Denki slurred out, already starting the dance, the others laughed, joining in.
It started out with thrusting their hips forward, sinking low on the ground and swaying, Izuku stepped out front, breaking away into a back spring, landing on his hands. His back bend down, feet barely touching the floor as he was practically a doughnut.
His acrobatic skills got people screaming.
Things were getting wild.
After the dance, though, Izuku got off stage for more drinks, wanting to join his wasted friends. Though...
He saw an unexpected, familiar face at the end, secluded by a shadow.
A dejected figure slumped over the end of the bar, a bottle of half empty gin loosely held by its top. They swirled their hand, watching the alcohol ripple inside. Their heterometric eyes looked dark in the low light, the life drained completely out of them.
Without batting an eye they filled their smaller glass up to the brim, downing it like there was no tomorrow.
Even then, in what looked to be complete and utter misery, Shoto still had an air of grace about him.
Once it was empty he just filled it up again and swallowed it down. Rinse and repeat, he drowned himself in the acrid stench of alcohol.
Izuku walked over hesitantly, Shoto was here??
Well-- it defiantly didn't look like he was having a good time, that was for sure.
"U-uhm.. T..Todoroki...?" He didn't even get a response, those glazed over eyes not even moving around, just staring in one spot at probably nothing.
The greenet moved closer, sitting down next to him and poking his cheek. Shoto finally turned his head towards him, though it was sluggish.
". . ." Even his silence had a woozy feeling to it.
"..You're drunk." It came more of a surprise to Izuku than anything. Then he internally smacked himself, of course he was! His eyes shifted back to the bottle in his hand. Shoto lifted his head to look through him, cloudy and hazy. Though, his mouth was.. making movements..
He was.. so drunk that his mouth seemed to be given it's own sentience, ushering something silent to whoever listened.
Though, his voice box was silent as usual.
Izuku's eyes widened, he tried lip reading but his movements were so slurred that he couldn't understand. After a moment, for the first time in a long time, he felt rather uneasy.
He stole his phone after he spotted it in his pocket, he opened it only to be met with a password... He picked up Shoto's hand much to the halfie's drunken confusion and pressed his finger to it, luckily his finger print was recognized and accepted.
He scrolled through his contacts, recognizing Momo's name. He clicked the call button and brought it up to his ear.
"... Shoto? Why are you calling??? You don't even speak.." Momo was audibly confused.
"Um.. ello?"
"...M..Midoriya..?"
He chuckled nervously, "Haha.. yeah.. I just found Todoroki wasted at the bar..? Do you know why he's here?"
". . ." Momo didn't answer right away.
"Not again.." She muttered, "Midoriya where are you?"
"We're at the Black Moon, but still why is he..?" Izuku felt himself trail off.
"I..I don't know if I can tell you but I'll share what I can when I get there, just bring him to the entrance for me." She responded slowly and with a sigh, hanging up before Izuku could get out another word.
Shoto was reaching for another glass of gin. He tried picking up the halfie, blushing at the unexpected muscle he had. "Cmon, we're leaving Todoroki.."
"Mh..." his hands grabbed for the bottle. Izuku smacked them away.
"No- bad!"
Shoto was drunk enough to not even process being dragged off towards the door, limply being supported over the greenet's shoulder. Izuku got him outside after a bit of difficulty.
"Mhhh..." Shoto was trying to convey something but hums could only get him so far. He ignored him for the most part.
"Wheres Momo..." He was getting impatient with worry and Shoto's weight.
A black car rolled up moments later, Momo bursting out of the door and briskly approaching the two.
"Oh man, he's really fucked himself over this time... how much did he have?"
"I..I don't know. There was an empty bottle by the time I found him though.." He shuffled over, Momo helping get him into the car. Though, Izuku slid in too like he was completely expected to join them on the way home
"Oh god... Sorry for the trouble Midoriya, I'll take him hom- why are you getting in? Don't you wanna get back to the bar?"
He chuckled nervously, "No.." He paused, "I.. still want to know why he was like this." His tone dropped to be a little serious
". . ." Momo once again made an ominous silence. "... Don't worry about it."
She crawled out and back into the drivers seat, buckling herself in.
"It's more of my business than you know... please Momo.." This was just Izuku, no gremlin or idol, just a young man that's more than he lets on.
The ravenette seemed to pause. "...let's get him to his apartment."
