Snow's POV

     I am slowly being consumed by the darkness that I absorb from Gary's puppets. I am getting weaker and a bit drowsy. Our attention was now on Gary as he shouted again and he is now surrounded by a dark shield. And suddenly a smoke came out from no where.

"Everyone use your special masks" My sister shouted and everyone obliged.

"Soldiers go back to the healers immediately" I shouted to them. And they immediately went to where Lovely's team are.

"Why did you do that?  What if they will summon an army who will charged at us while our soldiers are not here? " Prince Zephyr said.

" Can't you see?  Most of them are puppets. They can harm us but not to the extent of killing us. " I said to him and he became quiet.

"I need to go to the Casters.  I need you to distract Gary while I am away.  Dave,  take charge okay? "

   Dave nodded and I teleported to where the Casters are.  I went to the Cave of Resus plant. I saw Gerard and Count Madrid meditating. And when I fake coughed they opened their eyes.

"We need your guidance. Gary is now inside a dark shield and we couldn't penetrate to him. " I said

"You need to go to your Familiar  Princess to heal you. " Count Madrid said.

"She will help you make peace.  I assure you this. " she said.  I looked at Gerard and he smiled at me.

Dave's POV

    Miracle came and she eyed at us and sighed.

"What's wrong?" she just smiled at me.

"We need to find a weak side of the shield so we can penetrate at it.  We need to break the shield so I can save Gary. " she said. 

     When we went near it, Gary looked at us with his dark eyes and smiled.  The shield made a ball of dark flames and attacked us.

   Princess Trixie suggested to attack the shield at long distance.  We tried attacking it without getting near it but our attacks didn't make any scratch or little cracks. We can't get through Gary without breaking this shield.

    We did this hoping to make a little crack or scratch from our attacks but still no improvement yet. 

"Prince Dave, I want to suggest something.  What if you throw your magma sword to the shield but it must stay on and we will use our magic to push it through the shield.  Maybe it will penetrate and will break the shield. " Prince Casper suggested.

"It could work.  It's a good idea. " I replied to Prince Casper.

"Let's try it then " Princess Dorothy said.

   With my outmost strength together with the help of the Familiar of the Guardian,  I throw my magma sword with my Familiar helping it to push the sword.  And with the hope in our heart,  it successfully stucked on the shield. 

"Yes! " We shouted. We gave a high five with Prince Casper and hugged each other.

"We should not celebrate yet.  It's  not over.  "  Miracle said. 
 
  I felt like Miracle change.  I can sense somethings odd. But I just shrugged it off and trust my girlfriend for this.

   We altogether used our magic and combined its strength to push my sword to go through the shield.  It was pushed but not entirely. We continue to do it until the sword went through the shield.  We are exhausted as we did it three times before it penetrated successfully. It is now breaking into pieces and Gary loses its concentration and eyes us with hate and anger.

"You?!  You made a mistake to make me mad. Suffer the consequences!!!"  he said and began to chant.

" From the bottom of all hate and greed.  From the dirt to earth.  From my soul to life.  I offer you my life and come up again to rose.  Wake up and conquer the World.  !" he chanted and shouted.

"This is bad! This is bad! All of you go to to the Healers right now!  We need to retreat. " Miracle said. As she said that, the ground crumble and something is coming out from the ground.  And when they successfully dig up skeletons and many creatures rose up.

"Hurry!  I can't teleport us all.  My powers is getting weaker.  Run as fast as you can.  Gary bring back the death and offer his life for it. "

"What?! But how did he do that?! "

" He must read the legendary book.  It is one of the forbidden spells. He could die from chanting that spell.  I should have known.  That shield is  an energy ball to make his spell completed.  We just helped him to do this.!" she said out of frustration.

    She is not my Miracle. From the way she talk,  she is not my magus.

" Dave,  accompany them.  I must stop it and buy you all time. Protect her, NEPHEW! "  she said and smiled.

" Count Madrid?!"

" Go! We don't have much time! It's  my fate,  I love you all.  Remember that. "  and she ran towards the skeletons. And I couldn't do anything to help my Aunt as I run with the royalties to save our life but one sacrifices for us all.

Snow's POV

   I just cried as I watch my vision as Count Madrid fight the monsters that Gary just bring back to life.  And as she succefully went near Gary,  she hugged him. And that made me cry even more.  Gary stabbed Count Madrids stomach with a sword. But Count Madrid still trying to get his drakness out of him.  And Gary noticed it as his dark eyes slowly turning light and as a result,  he stabbed her again on her heart. With a broken heart,  I just cried and hugged Gerard as Count Madrid died trying to save us all.

   We are here at Lovely's location as they are treating soldiers who has injuries and we already used the antidote gas awhile ago as Gary elet out his poison gas. But we still have one gallon to spare here incase of emergency.

   Count Madrid aaid to focus finding my familiar so I can preserve my strength.  She said that I need to be treated by my familiar as soon as possible or I will be entirely consumed by the darkness and Eliore will start to crumble.

    While I am thinking of how will I know if she/ he is my familiar,  Lovely went near me and comforted me.

"Ira,  what happened? " she asked

"Count Madrid sacrifice herself to save us. She died on Gary hands,  Love. " I said to her.

   A moment later,  Dave and other Royalties arrived.  And I immediately hugged Dave. 

" Why did Count Madrid pretended to be you, Miracle? " he asked.

Maybe its time to tell him.

"Fireball,  I have something to say. When I was kidnapped by Gary.  I saw the seed of life.  I am a key for bringing back the dead that's why Gary is eager to get me.  As I am absorbing the poison and the darkness when I was kidnapped, I chose to pick both light and darkness."

"I need to do that to let out the darkness from Gary like I did to his puppets awhile ago but I will be affected by it.  I will also be consumed by that darkness.  I need to see my familiar.  She is my only hope to cure me.  That's what Count Madrid said.  She said I must find her here where Lovely is. " I explained.

"Count Madrid went to fight the monsters their!  Is she safe? " he asked and that made me cry.

"She's dead. Gary stabbed her while  Count Madridn absorbing his  darkness out of him" I said. Dave became silent.  I hugged him and he hugged me back.  He  put his head to my shoulders as I feel the tears dropping to my shoulders. I comfort him as I cry with him.

" She saved us,  Dave.  She's a hero. " I said to him.

" Help me find my familiar, Fireball"I said as I wiped his tears and kissed his eyes. He smiled and nodded. 

     We went near Gerard and hugged him.  Dave just shuffle his hair and pat his head like showing that it's going to be okay.

" We knew that this happened.  That she will do that.  She said that to me before this day. " he said.

" Did Count Madrid said anything about the Familiar of Magus?  We need my familiar she said to end this chaos. "

"I don't know,  Big Sister.  But our great grandfather's Familiar was a person. As I recall,  his familiar is a Summoner from the Summoners Kingdom.  Prince Colton's great grandfather was his familiar. His familiar also was the key that they defeated the Dark Kingdom. As said from the Book of Life, "the Familiar of the Magus has the power to change the fate of the world. " Gerard said

"And the question is,  who is my familiar?"
