 HONEY LEMON RICHARDSON'S FAMILY IS PROBABLY THE ONLY FAMILY IN WOODSBORO NOT CONNECTED TO THE ORIGINAL GHOSTFACE STABBINGS. Her father, Daniel, was a world class formula one race car driver before an accident seven years ago put him out of commission. Not knowing the town's gruesome history, they packed up their life in Ottawa and moved to quiet Woodsboro, California. The house was a steal, and Honey Lemon was quick to find out why: it was notorious mass murder and serial killer Billy Loomis' house.

          HONEY WAS MOSTLY UNAFFECTED BY LIVING IN A MURDERER'S HOUSE. None of the actual killings had taken place in the Loomis house, and numerous happy families had lived there without incident before the Richardsons. The first few weeks were rough, but she was only ten at the time. As she grew older, she thought it was cool to live in a piece of history like that.

         FAST FORWARD A FEW YEARS, AND HONEY IS SEVENTEEN, STARTING HER SENIOR YEAR AT WOODSBORO HIGH SCHOOL. She's a locally famous bookstagrammer, and a decently popular reviewer on Goodreads- even when half of her reviews are just frantic plot-related screaming. Armed with her acceptance to UCLA to study law and criminal psychology, as well as the love-of-her-life, Chad Meeks-Martin, and her best friend- Chad's sister Mindy- Honey thinks she's ready for anything her senior year could throw at her.

       UNTIL EVERYBODY IN HER FRIEND GROUP STARTS TO GET MURDERED ONE BY ONE

       THE SITUATION IS BAD ENOUGH TO DRAG DEWEY RILEY OUT OF RETIREMENT AND TO BRING SIDNEY PRESCOTT BACK TO WOODSBORO. Honey is on edge. Quiet and bookish, she knows that she wouldn't last five minutes in a horror movie, even with everything she knows about thriller movies, books and lore. She's not sure who she can trust- the killer is always one of the friend group- except for Chad. He's been her boyfriend for three years, and they're getting engaged in the fall. So it can't be Chad Meeks-Martin, right?

     ONE DAY, WHILE SEARCHING HER ROOM FOR BOOKSTAGRAM PROPS ( MAINTAINING HER ONLINE BOOKSIH PRESENCE IS THE ONLY THING KEEPING HER SANE ), HONEY FINDS A SECRET CACHE BEHIND HER WARDROBE. Hidden in the wall is a series of journals written by Billy Loomis and Stu Macher themselves- she'd been sleeping in Billy's room this whole time- chronicling exactly how each of the original murders from 1996 had been committed. A Stab fan at heart, she realizes exactly how factually incorrect the movies had originally been (although Luke Wilson's portrayal of Billy had almost gotten her to feel for the psychopath) as the flicks through pages upon pages of death and destruction. As the murders continue, getting more and more brutal each time, Honey Lemon realizes that Billy Loomis' journals may just be what she needs to survive this nightmare after all.
