                         NEVE HATHORNE - FLYNN'S LIFE ENDED THE DAY SHE MET JULIAN NAVARRO. Enthralled by the lifestyle and the fast cars of Julian and his band of street racers. It started out harmless: the drinking, the racing, the luxury cars, the pageantry.  And then Navarro and some guy named Spider Bite decided to bring in the guns. And the drugs. Spending six months constantly moving on the open water, on a state of the art patrol boat seems like the best way to stay under Navarro and Jones' radars. Even if she starts to get on Kate 'XO' McGregor's nerves. She spends most of her time in the bowels of the boat with Charge, the chief engineer, devoted to making herself useful and keeping the old boat running.

                              BUT NEVE HATHORNE - FLYNN CAN'T RUN FROM HER PAST FOREVER. After a botched rescue near Bright Island, she begins to realize that she'll never be safe, not while Julian Navarro is free. Neve isn't a scared teenager anymore, and this time, she's ready to fight back.
