"When can we see Shลyล?"

"I dunno stop dragging me into your little crush"

"I KNOW you like him to, I've seen you blush around him!"

"No..."

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

Hinata froze in place.

It was almost like every sound drowned out and the world stopped for a split second.

Clouded brown eyes made contact with vibrant green across the hall. They had only made eye contact for a split second but it was enough to bring back some not so nice memories.

Hinata took a deep breath and backed away from the crowd, he smiled weakly and waved his hands around in the air "s-sorry I have to get going!" He apologised, speeding away from the students.

Hinata walked briskly to his first class. He didn't want to risk running into Yua... he just wasn't ready to face her.

Not after what she had done.

He was the first to enter his class, immediately being greeted with his teacher "Hinata! glad to have you back!" A lady with long pure white hair cheered. Hinata smiled back at the lady "good to be back Sensei"

He took his usual seat right next to the near window the back of the class and stared at nothing in particular.

The class slowly began to fill in, Hinata didn't really notice when the teacher even started the lesson. He was simply in a world of his own looking out at the surroundings.

Out of nowhere the clouds overhead started to get darker as the air became more stuffy and humid. Small droplets of rain started to spit on the window, trickling down the glass rather quickly.

Hinata sighed as he rested his chin on his hand, chocolate brown eyes gazing at the unfortunate weather.

"Pst...PST"

Hinata slowly crooked his head towards the voice from behind him. There was a girl with short blue hair and grey eyes; she looked rather interesting in Hinata's eyes.

She smiled softly and handed Hinata a crumpled piece of paper "someone asked me to give this to you" the girl whispered, changing her focus to the teacher again.

Hinata furrowed his brow and un scrunched the paper. There was incredibly neat handwriting which read:

IอŸmอŸ sอŸoอŸrอŸrอŸโ€ŠอŸy sอŸhอŸoอŸโ€ŠอŸyoอŸ,อŸ iอŸ dอŸiอŸdอŸnอŸtอŸ wอŸaอŸnอŸtอŸ tอŸoอŸ

Hinata frowned at the paper, confused as to who it was from or what it meant. Stuffing it in his pocket he shrugged his shoulders and went back to staring at the calming rain.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”-

The day went swiftly. Hinata made up all sorts of lies to cover his disappearance from school. Some believed it, but some were also sceptical about the amount of truth that came from the boy's mouth.

Hinata was trying his best to avoid everyone in the team around school. For example, Hinata had been approached by Kageyama and Daichi so far but he managed to scuttle away before igniting a conversation.

He simple had other things to worry about without the addition of the club. Things to do with Yua specifically.

Would he try to rebuild their relationship?

Would he ever forgive Yua for the betrayal?

Would he ever trust again?

Hinata didn't know a single answer to the swarm of questions that packed his mind, and it started to give him an awful headache.

Overthinking.

It really was a normality for the boy. He couldn't stop his mind from going haywire once it had started; and it was utterly exhausting.

Hinata sighed for about the hundredth time that day. It was after school now and it was still raining, and what was worse was that he had practice now.ย

His last memory that came with the volleyball club was filled with despair and betrayal. The day it all started, his downfall if you will.

Hinata harshly rubbed his temples to will his migraine away and reluctantly opened the door. Upon entering the gym, everyone was doing individual stretches already.

The distinctive smell of cheep air spray mixed with a fresh scent of equipment hit his nose, filling his senses with both good and bad memories.

Rain started to seep through his clothes as he stood outside the gym, looking inside with a completely blank face. Droplets made their way to the tips of his two toned hair, and began cascading down to the floor.

Hinata's eyes dulled once more as the worried shouts of his friends became muffled, as if they were becoming him from afar.

"Shลyล! We're so glad your back!"

"What are you doing standing in the rain boke?"

"Hurry up and come inside Shrimpy"

"Shลyล, are you ok?"

Hinata's face was completely straight, his senses almost turned off as a rush of memories crossed his mind. It was as if the recalled thoughts were playing in front of him like a projected screen.

Sadness, rage, happiness, anguish, all blurred together in one as Hinata took a step back on shaky legs.

Reality seemed to grip the boy once more as someone tapped his shoulder "hey kid you alright?" Ukai asked worriedly, waving his hand in front of the teen's vision.

The No.10 shook his head vigorously and let a weak smile grace his features "sorry! Just spaced out" he reassured, walking into the Gym and trying to ignore all the pitiful looks directed towards him.

He took of his tracksuits so he wore his usual shorts and T-shirt. The boy's scars were vividly illuminated under the artificial lighting, a mixture of thin and thick red coloured tiger stripes decorated both his arms and thighs.

His flaws only made Hinata all the more beautiful.*

Nishinoya, being his dumb self was about to go question Hinata about them, but was luckily stopped by Sugawara in time.

Sugawara knew better then to point out another's scars. Even if he himself found them beautiful.

The silver haired setter approached the boy with a kind smile "it's good to have you back Hinata" he grinned, quite grateful they had their team sunshine back.

"It's good to be back" he replied meekly, in fact Hinata didn't want to be there at all.

Soon everyone was smiling and greeting the spiker with inviting smiles, their actions being soft and delicate as if he were to break at the slightest of touches.

"Alright everyone leave fawning over Hinata for after practice!" The blonde male yelled, throwing balls at Tanaka and Nishinoya's heads for no reason in particular.

"OI boke, let's practice the quick" kageyama instructed, not really giving the short boy much of a choice.

"Fine Bakeyama" Hinata mocked, waiting for the ball to be set to him. Nishinoya got on the other side of the net, waiting for the spike as Hinata took a step back for the run up.

Making the first move, Hinata sprinted towards the net and leapt higher than even Asahi could manage. The peak of his hand was almost a meter above the net as he seemed to freeze in time, waiting for contact with the ball.

Kageyama's eyes widened at the sheer higher of the jump and tossed the ball rather sloppily to where Hinata needed it, due to him being so shocked.

The ball was a little two high so he stretched a little more till it was perfect and slammed it down so hard the Libero didn't even realise it had been spiked.

The entire Gym fell silent, as the only noice heard was the sound of the ball slowly rolling away.

Everyone stared in amazement at the teen.

This definitely wasn't the same Hinata as before.
