"Are you sure you want to take on the role of caring for Hinata Shōyō... he's quite a troublesome boy"

"My apologies, he will be allowed out of hospital in three days"

"Any medication I need to give him?"

"He will need you're constant supervision since he may try to commit again. He is also assigned therapy for a month and antidepressants"

By now Hinata had awoken. At first he was frustrated and refused to talk to anyone in Karasuno so the crows were shooed out by the other teams.

Hinata was not ready to see them yet.

Everyone else took this as an opportunity to get closer to the boy without the intrusion of Karasuno.

Tsukki had ended up being forced to tell everyone the reason Hinata was in hospital. So as asked, he complied and told them the news of Hinata trying to take his own life.

Everyone instantly broke down at that. Each and every boy was in tears. They just couldn't comprehend the fact how such a bright smile could hide the deepest sorrow...

The other teams except Karasuno had figured out Hinata's downward spiral had something to do with the crows. However, they hadn't figured out what yet. Due to this factor, everyone refused to talk to the team until the owned up to what it was they had done.

They just couldn't tolerate someone hurting such a ray of sunshine.

Currently; Hoshiumi, Yamaguci and Akaashi were talking to Hinata.

"Why would you do such a thing" Tadashi questioned the blank faced Hinata, while clutching his hand with tears forming. Hinata giggled emotionlessly; it was hard to listen to. Filled with such sorrow it was almost unbearable.

"I wish I were free, I'm such a burden"

Everyone in the room started to tear up at the sentence. Even Akaashi who was normally stone faced, was now scrunching his features in pure discomfort.

"Don't say such bullshit" a voice spoke up, gaining everyone's attention. Hinata crooked his head towards the unidentified person, letting out a deep breath through the oxygen mask.

"Hoshi..." Hinata replied, smiling at the nickname he gave the seagull looking male.

Hinata was actually very fond of Kōrai Hoshiumi. He admired the short male and aspired to be like him in some ways. Hoshiumi had also fallen under Hinata's charm; his feelings being expressed through friendship for the time being. However now he wanted to make more moves on Hinata; knowing many others want him also.

"Thank you Hoshi, you've always been there for me..." Hinata winced as he pushed his torso off the uncomfortable bed.

The three were alarmed at this and attempted to push the teen back to a laying position; scared for the boy's health.

Before he was pushed back down, Hinata had grabbed the white haired males wrist; yanking him into an intimate hug.

The ace instantly blushed and hesitantly wrapped his arms around Hinata's skinny frame; his hands barely grazing his back as if Hinata would break at the slightest touch.

Settling his racing heartbeat and prominent blush, Hoshiumi pulled away and gave his friend a sincere smile.

Hinata felt comforted by the warm gesture and returned a smile. Akaashi grew a little jealous watching the two converse and nudged Hinata gently in the arm "can I have a hug?" Akaashi asked in his usual monotone voice.

Hinata smiled through the oxygen mask once more and pulled the black haired male into a hug. The fukurodani player was both surprised and saddened by how skinny Hinata was. Almost every single bone could be felt through the hospital gown; and yet the No.10 still managed to be adorable.

Akaashi nuzzled his head into Hinata's bony chest and inhaled the familiar citrus scent which resonated from the boy. Oh how he loved that comforting scent.

Hinata began to play with Akaashi's short hair, intertwining his fingers through the males silky hair.

Now it was Yamaguci's turn to be jealous. He slightly scowled at their affection and gently pulled Hinata away from the older male. Hinata glanced at Tadashi with his clouded brown eyes; devoid of all emotion.

"Don't forget about me" Tadashi cooed, kissing Hinata on the forehead. The boy flushed a bright red before burying his face in the thin hospital blanket.

Yamaguci chuckled at the cute behaviour before a slight knock was heard at the door. Hoshiumi sighed and went to open the door; revealing another group of three boys.

Lev, Kenma, and Bokuto stood at the door. Kenma and Bokuto had sneakily past the others to see Hinata a second time "it's our turn" Kenma stated rather bluntly, his possessiveness taking over momentarily.

The white haired teen groaned and shooed the other out while they went in.

"Kenma..." Hinata wheezed, his breathing becoming harder for some reason "Shōyō, I missed you" Kenma reassured, checking the vitals on a small machine that stood near his bed.

The oxygen seemed to be up to date so he turned back to his friend. Hinata gave a weak smile towards the pudding head and grabbed Kenma's hand "please don't leave me Kenma... please" Hinata inhaled a deep breath through the mask.

Kenma's eyes dropped, he hated seeing his Shōyō in such a weak state "I'm here, I'm not going anywhere" Kenma stroked a hand through the black and white hair; he missed Hinata's fluffy orange locks.

"Hey Hinata! Gotten any taller?!" Lev exclaimed, attempting to brighten the atmosphere in the tiny room. However, he was shot a pointed glare by Kenma; instantly shutting him up.

Hinata giggled lightly, all sounds ceased to listen to the beautiful sound. It really was like music to their ears; oh how they've missed his adorable laugh.

"I'm pretty sure I've grown a centimetre" Hinata forced out while inhaling short ragged breaths. Lev beamed and bounced over to the bed "still not taller than me though!" Lev chuckled deeply, creating a chain reaction with both Bokuto and Hinata laughing.

"Hey hey hey my disciple! I like the new hair!" Bokuto brightened up and lied through his teeth.

He did not like the hair at all.

One of Hinata's cutest traits was the adorable bouncy orange hair.

However, Bokuto was sure he would convince Hinata to dye it back to normal soon. If all goes well that is...

"Thanks Bokuto-san..." Hinata started, gently pushing away Kenma's hand from his "but I know you don't like it" Hinata finished with a sad smile, surprising all there boys.

"N-no, that-" the spiker was cut off by the No.10 "please don't lie to me"

Hinata hated lies.

Bokuto went into emo mode as his hair dropped down "sorry..." he replied, feeling bad for dimming the relatively happy atmosphere that was in the room.

Before Bokuto could say anything further; the door burst open, literally knocking it off its hinges "AGGGHHHH!" Both the Owl and beanstalk shouted at the same time, startled by the sudden intrusion.

"Sorry for scaring you..." Coach Ukai mumbled, scratching the back of his neck. Hinata smiled at his presence "hey coach"

This was all Ukai needed to sprint over to the bed and shout in the face of his soon to be son "YOUR COMING TO LIVE WITH ME!"

"What?..."
