How to Play a Kitten
There's been some confusion at how to play a kitten, and what kittens are like at certain ages so I'm using this resource created by a very good roleplayer I will credit in the comments to explain how kittens grow up. A kitten's development will be broken down week by week, so check which week you're in to see what your kitten should be able to do. I learned some things too.
Week 1(chapter of birth):
Newborn: helpless, eyes closed, ears folded, can't stand, can't keep themselves warm, can't eat on their own
day three: ears way begin to unfold, eyes remained closed, sense of hearing, smell and taste are developing, can purr and make distress sounds
day six: begin to wiggle around, eyes begin to open
day seven: eyes are almost completely open, eyesight is unfocused
Week 2(1st Chapter after birth):
day eight: rarely ventures from queen, littermate or nest
day nine: eyes are open and are blue
day twelve: ears are unfolded, may venture forth, but are still wobbly on their feet, first attempt at words.
day fourteen: can start interacting with each other, smell is developing, can hiss, cannot retract claws
Week 3(2nd Chapter after birth):
day fifteen: you can tell a kitten's sex and teeth start coming in.
day sixteen: kittens begin to play. First words.
day twenty-one: can be introduced to prey rather than milk. The prey must be soft and chewed for them, they can walk without wobbling too much
day twenty-two: coat becomes more filled out
Week 4(3rd Chapter after birth):
day twenty-three: may interact with littermate more, starts interacting with other cats in the nursery and toys like moss and sticks. Should be introduced to prey. Using short sentences with bad grammar
day twenty-nine: teeth come in properly
Week 5(4th Chapter after birth):
day thirty-three: sight is fully developed, run around and explore the nursery more, they can experiment with eating more prey but are still nursing
day thirty-five: their personalities begin to develop more. Talking like toddlers
Week 6(5th Chapter after birth):
day forty: kittens are stalking, hiding, digging, and pouncing balls of energy
day forty-two: can groom themselves and littermates
Week 7(6th Chapter after birth):
day forty-five: they can be introduced to the rest of camp, but don't stray too far from the nursery
day forty-nine: still being weaned from milk. Eye colour starts changing to their real one. They start talking more correctly
Week 8(7th Chapter after birth):
day fifty four: they become more adventurous and daring
day fifty seven: their true eye colour is clear now
Week 9(8th Chapter after birth):
day sixty-two: eats mostly solid food, they start to use proper body language and grammar
Week 10(9th Chapter after birth):
day seventy: no longer depend on mother for milk or warmth, successfully weaned.
Thank all of you who read this for your time and patience; I hope it will be helpful.
