JJ Maybank × Y/N

Summary: Y/N is shy to make a move on JJ but things take a turn once the clock strikes 12!!

(Guys we are also  pretending Kie has a bf in this one-)

I laughed as I took another sip of my drink.

 It was New Year's Eve we were all sitting outside on the dock watch the count down to midnight on Pope's phone. It was raining but we were all having a great time. 

"That story is even funnier when I tell it!" JJ exclaimed as we all chuckled while Kiara explained the story of how they were doing impressions of batman in the car a couple days ago.

 Cloe stood up from her spot next to Pope, "Who wants another round?" She shouted holding up her beer. Everyone shouted back with a yes please. I stood up from my spot to go help Cleo collect the beers. We walked off to the cooler on the porch of the Chateau. Cleo open up the cooler and started handing me a couple of drinks. 

"You got a New Year's Kiss for tonight?" She grinned at me. 

"No." 

"Well, why not? I've seen that JJ don't have one either, maybe you 2 should-" 

"What?" I said cutting her off, "JJ? Really?" 

"Like I said, Why not? You're lonely and everyone has got one execpt you and JJ, plus it might even spark you something." 

"Hey, Y/N you coming with those beers?" I heard JJ shout from the dock. I looked over at Cleo and she smirked at me as we started walking back over to the dock as more rain fell onto my skin we quickly shuffled under the small wooden roof of the end of the dock. 

Cleo and I passed out the drinks to everyone then quickly sat back down. The sound of cans opening filled the air. 

"Everyone hurry up and finish these, becuas in about 30 minutes it's time to open the champagne!" Sarah said in excitement, John B smiled and kissed the top of her head. I was slowly starting to see what Cloe meant. I was kinda lonely in the romantic areas of life. 

I glanced over at JJ who was already staring at me for some reason. Once I noticed his eyes on me I tried to play it cool and act like I wasn't just looking at him 3 seconds ago.

After a couple of minutes everyone headed inside to get the champagne ready. It was a cheap bottle and we had glitter plastic champagne cups. JJ got the bottle and popped the cork it went flying somewhere around that we would find later. Everyone got their cup and we all headed back outside onto the porch. 

Pope propped up his phone so we could all see the time. It was 10 minutes till 12 am. Everyone was dancing around in the rain while we waited. Sarah and I linked arms while spinning around the yard. 

The fire that John B set but had gone out so their wasn't much light outside. 

"Guys 1 minutes!" Pope shouted. Everyone quickly stood next to each other in couple while JJ and I akawardly stood around, but the moment came to where it was just ten seconds left.

"Ten!"

"Nine!"

"Eight!" 

"Seven!"

"Six!"

"Five!"

"Four!"

"Three!" 

"Two!"

"One!" 

"Happy New Year!" We all shouted. 

I took a sip of my champagne when JJ quickly grabbed me and connected the small space that was between us. I pulled away in confusion but after seeing the drunken smile on his face I leaned back in press my lips against his to share a passionate New Year's kiss in the rain.
