(Pidge's POV)

"It's....Keith."

I sigh, hoping that Lance won't mind that I told them. Well, better now than never.

Keith looks startled "Me? He likes...me?"

"Yeah."

(Keith's POV)

I can't believe it. The guy I like...Lance...likes me? I'm overjoyed in the inside, but right now he might even die before I can tell him that I love him back. I wish I would've known sooner...then he wouldn't have had to suffer like that.

The others began to leave to their various works and things, but I just stand here, dazed. Sliding down in front of the glass, I begin to sob.
"Lance, please, be okay...because...I love you too...and I haven't gotten the chance to tell you that."

(Time skip, a couple days later)

I'm still here in front of Lance's pod.
I've only left to eat. I sleep on the cold floor, waiting, watching, hoping he'll be alright.
I'm about to fall asleep when the glass barrier goes down and Lance falls out.
"Lance!" I catch him from hitting his head on the floor below.

"Keith? Where am I? What happened-"

(Lance's POV)

Before I can finish what I was saying, I feel a pair of cool, smooth lips on mine.
He breaks away, looking a me with tears in his eyes.
"Keith?"
Keith hugs me tightly to his chest.

"Lance, I want you to know...that I love you too...I just wish you would have told me sooner."

"You...you said you love...me? You're telling the truth, right?"

"Of course I am! I've loved you for awhile now!"

"Keith..."

I don't know what to say. I'm delighted. I'm happy...the one I love...loves me.
This is enough to make me want to live.

I wipe the tears out of his eyes.
"If what you say is true, then-"
I kiss him back, pulling him into a tight embrace. He begins to calm down, while we kiss passionately.

"I love you too, Keith."

"I know, Pidge told me."

He laughs "Of course it was her."

The pain in my chest is gone. I feel a lot better as the thorns receded and dissolved.

He loves me

I smile at Keith, and he smiles back up at me.

"So that means you'll be my boyfriend?"

He grins "Of course."

"Thanks Mullet."

I hear a quiet snicker...and of course, it was Pidge recording the whole thing.

"Pidge!"

"What? It's so you can show all your grandchildren how you fell in love!"

I roll my eyes. "Whatever."

We laugh. I've never felt better.

We walk into the kitchen together, hand in hand.

Hunk looks up from some food goo.

"Lance!" He knocks the bowl down from the counter and onto his lap.

"Hey, Hunk."

"You're alright!"

"Never been better!"

He notices Keith and I hands intertwined, and smiles.

"Oh, that's why."

He pulls me into a bear hug even with the goo still on him.

"Please, don't go and almost die again, okay?"

I smile.
"I won't, at least on purpose."

Keith grins. "I'll make sure he doesn't  die" he says, kissing my cheek.

I blush.
"What have I walked in on?" Shiro and the others walk into the Kitchen. 

"Oh Lance, you're out?" Allura walks over and grasps my hand. "Well looks like it turned out okay for you." She smiles.

Later on, Keith and I stand in front of the wide ranged window, looking out into the endless stary sky.

"So when you said there was someone you liked...that was me?"

Keith blushes slightly. "Well...yeah."

I grab his hand, looking over at him, and smile.

"We'll be together, forever, right?"

He returns the smile. "Of course...because I love you." He kisses me, and I kiss him back.

Forever.

(And meanwhile, Shiro and Allura, the proud space parents are blowing there noses...and it looks like their eyes are running....
And Pidge? Setting up cameras in their bedrooms...to watch action during the night.) ;-)

667 words...and that was the end of the story. I'm hoping that I'll get some inspiration to write more...and hoping more peeps will like my stories...I had fun writing that...now I'm going to resume watching Angels of Death once again. Bai you wonderful people who read my stories.🖤
