Vows

Isabella's POV

Deckard and I had decided on a small, intimate wedding. A calm day surrounded by the people we loved, free from all the chaos. It was the perfect way to start our new life together. We wanted to keep it simpleโ€”just a few close friends and family.

We invited Owen and Magdalene, of course, and Deckard agreed it would be a great idea to have some of my family there too. I hesitated at first, but after talking it over with him, I decided to reach out to Jakob. Deckard reassured me it was the right thing to do, and he supported me every step of the way. Jakob said he would be there, and that was all I needed to hear. I was nervous, but excited to have my brother by my side on one of the most important days of my life.

Deckard rented out the beach at the hotel we were staying at. The team there worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding. The ocean breeze, the soft sand, and the sunset made for the most beautiful setting. I also invited Margarita and asked her to be my maid of honor, which she excitedly agreed to. Deckard asked Owen to be his best man, and I couldn't have imagined anyone better for the role.

The day of the wedding came quickly, and I couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions. Deckard and I spent the day preparing, getting ready, and buying the last-minute things we needed. I went off on my own for a bitโ€”yes, this time I brought a concealed gun with me, just in case. I couldn't be too careful.

Margarita was waiting for me when I returned, and we shared a hug. My new best friend.

I tried on three dresses, and after some discussion, Margarita and I agreed that I needed to be okay with getting it wet. I chose a simple, elegant lace dress that made me feel beautiful but still true to who I was. It was perfect. Margarita picked out a blue dress that complemented the wedding perfectly. We both looked stunning, if I do say so myself.

After getting ready, I went straight to the nail salon, followed by a few last-minute touches. I knew Deckard was also getting ready at the same time. He was probably having a lot of the same thoughts I was.

When I finally put on my dress and stepped into the room, I decided against a veil. I never liked them. Instead, I carried a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The moment I saw myself in the mirror, I felt like a new person. I couldn't wait to become Mrs. Shaw.

There was a knock at the door. Margarita opened it, and there stood my brother, Jakob. We smiled at each other, and he hugged me tightly.

"I'm so sorry I should have been there and should never have left you," Jakob said, his voice thick with emotion. I hugged him back and felt my heart swell. I knew he felt guilty about everything that had happened, but it wasn't his fault.

We talked for a while, catching up on everything, and for once, we didn't have to talk about Dom or anything related to that. It was just us, happy and content.

Margarita came back to check on everything and told us it was time. I took one last breath before the ceremony began.

Deckard's POV

I couldn't believe it was finally happening. Isabella, my Isabella, was about to become my wife. I knew I wanted her in my life, but now, standing here in front of the beach, seeing all the people we loved gathered together, it felt surreal.

The wedding was small, but everything was coming together beautifully. The team at the hotel had done an incredible job with the decorations. Everything was perfect. I had asked Owen to be my best man, and I could see how happy he was to stand by my side. It was only right. Margarita was there too, helping Isabella with everything, and I knew she would be perfect as her maid of honor.

The ceremony was about to begin. I was nervousโ€”not because I didn't want to marry her, but because I wanted everything to go right. I didn't want anything to mess up this moment. I had waited so long to find someone like Isabella, someone who loved me, someone I could trust.

As I stood waiting at the altar, my heart raced. Magdalene walked down the aisle first, then came Margarita, and finally, it was my turn to see Isabella. I couldn't take my eyes off her. My heart skipped a beat.

Jakob walked her down the aisle, and I could see the pride in his eyes. I was about to marry his sister, and I would protect her with everything I had. He stopped in front of me, smiled, and said, "Welcome to the family, Deckard. If you hurt her, I'll hurt you."

I smiled back, holding his gaze. "Thank you for coming, Jakob. I won't hurt her. I love her." We shook hands, and Jakob kissed her on the cheek before walking over to her side.

I turned to Isabella, my heart full of emotion. The officiant began the ceremony, and it was time for our vows. I was ready.

Isabella's POV

As I stood there, the love of my life at the altar, my heart swelled. I couldn't believe we had made it here. All of the chaos, all the painโ€”it had led me to this moment. With Deckard.

The officiant asked Deckard to speak first. He turned to me, and I saw the sincerity in his eyes. I listened intently as he spoke from the heart.

"Isabella, I've never truly been in love with anyone before, but then you came into my life. You made me believe in love, and you showed me that I could be happy. In the short time that I've known you, you've taught me so much. You've given me knowledge and love. I promise to always stand by you, in good times and bad. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and start a family. I love you so much, and nothing will come between us."

Tears filled my eyes as I listened to him. I couldn't believe how lucky I was. I had never felt so loved in my entire life.

When it was my turn, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I took a deep breath before speaking, my voice trembling with happiness.

"Deckard, I love you more than you know. I am so excited to spend the rest of our lives together. I never let myself fall in love before, but you changed that. I love you, and I promise to always stand by you, in good times and bad. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and start a family. I love you so much, and nothing will come between us."

I wiped my eyes, and the officiant smiled at us. "Does anyone wish to stop this wedding?" There was silence. "Good. Then I can't wait to marry these two."

The officiant turned to Margarita and Owen. "Please give the rings to the bride and groom."

Owen and Margarita stepped forward, handing over the rings. The officiant turned to me and said, "Deckard, give this ring to Isabella and repeat after me."

I slid the ring on her finger as I said, "Isabella, with this ring I further promise to love you without reservation, honor and respect you, promise to protect you from harm, comfort you in times of distress, grow with you in mind and spirit, always be open and honest with you, and cherish you for as long as we both shall live."

She smiled, tears glistening in her eyes, as she repeated the vows and slid the ring on my finger.

"Deckard, with this ring I honor you, and I promise to be honest with you, love you in sickness and health."

The officiant smiled and asked, "Deckard Shaw, do you take Isabella to be your wife?"

"I do," I replied with certainty.

He turned to Isabella, "Isabella Toretto, do you take Deckard to be your husband?"

"I do," she said, her voice steady and full of love.

The officiant smiled warmly. "Then Deckard, you may kiss your bride."

I leaned down, and our lips met in a kiss that sealed everything. The crowd erupted into applause, and I picked Isabella up in my arms, kissing her once more.

We walked down the aisle together, the guests showering us with flowers. The photographer was already snapping pictures of every moment, capturing our happiness.

After the ceremony, more pictures followed. And soon, the party started. I kissed my wife, and she kissed me back, both of us ready to celebrate this new chapter in our lives together.
